Terra & Vine

Sit outside if the weather is nice! Also a great bar area. Would recommend everything we had - meatball primi, skirt steak, Mediterranean salad and shrimp pasta.

My wife and I came here to celebrate our 18 year wedding anniversary. The food and the service was wonderful. I ordered the Fettuccine Bolanaise and my wife ordered the Grilled Salmon. We chose to dine in their outdoor patio since it was a usually warm September day. The restaurant is very convenient located near downtown Evanston. Street parking was not a problem It was very close to Terra and Vine. Highly recommended for good Italian cuisine !

Ate here on a Friday evening around 7:30pm. It was a nice night out so we asked to sit on the patio, and it was a 15min wait. We gave our phone number, walked around the block, and in about 15min they sent us a text. Overall meal was delicious. I would recommend an appetizer as it took ~1hr for the food to come out, but it was definitely worth the wait.

Terra & Vine did a great job remodeling the restaurant. We ate there Saturday night and Alpana Singh was there the whole night working her butt off. She was talking to the patrons, taking pictures, and even cleaning off tables. We had a Margarita Pizza, which was great, and homemade pasta, also very good. Great location and a big bar area. We will definitely be coming back soon.

The wine was very good and potent but I haven't heard good things about the food.

Update 10-23:
The owner of the restaurant contacted me to let me know that it in face was available but the ones working that night were incorrect. I was invited back with their full compliments and I decided to give it another try. I was able to try the Presto menu. For the advertised price, the selections are great and a great value. I would recommend it to anyone. The dish that I and my wife had were excellent. I will be returning again.

I recommend the Amish Chicken and the short ribs. Both dishes are very tasty.

Food was good but it seems the restaurant wants to mislead people. On a Sunday I tried to order their Presto menu and told it was not available on Sunday. When I pointed out that the sign says otherwise, I was told sorry, not available. A restaurant that would actually care about it's reputation would have still allowed me to order from that menu since they are the ones who messed up. Either that or the staff lied to me.

Went out to dinner with friends. Outdoor seating was great for the COVID environment. Food was uniformly delicious. Great drink menu although I personally think some of the cocktails are a tad on the pricy side. Service was excellent and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

T&V was the choice of our rehearsal dinner on August 10th. First, they were incredibly easy to deal with and, for the quality, very well-priced. Second, it was very easy for them to accommodate our large group of people with various dietary needs; we had children, vegans, and people with celiac disease and none were a problem for T&V. The vegans even got their own desserts. Prior to seating us all, they showed the bride and groom the room to make sure everything looked great (it did). For the actual dinner, the food was incredible. The service was attentive and respectful. The drink recommendations were delicious. I'd highly recommend this place again; all of our guests left happy and we more than got what we paid for. Thank you so much T&V.

Second visit and the food is CONSISTENTLY excellent!

While this is Italian, it isn't "quite traditional". There are also Spanish as well as French influences. On this last visit, had the braised octopus with chorizo and paprika, distinctly Spanish in influence. Also had the Aranchini, which is very much Italian.

They do marvelous things with Short Ribs, be it in a slugo pasta sauce or a Chianti braise, served over mashed potatoes.

The steak offering is also, very good. The nail temperatures and it is excellent quality.

Well chosen wine list, as one would expect from Alpana...

Besides the obvious of coming here before or after a movie, this place is absolutely WORTHY of "just coming on in for dinner". The food is outstanding and it's a good looking room.

Incredible! I’m a vegetarian and finding delicious Italian food can often be a challenge. I had the burrata and the roasted cauliflower entrée. Both were INCREDIBLE! I cannot recommend this place enough.

The food was excellent, wine was very good, service was attentive and I enjoyed the ambiance! I enjoyed the way details were attended to...from our server to the people bussing our table! I'd recommend this restaurant for sure....and be sure to try the brussel sprouts, octopus, flourless chocolate cake and tawny port!

I enjoyed a chicken cobb salad and my companion poached eggs on avacado toast with potatoes. The Cobb was flavorful and crisp. There was an appropriate amount of lettuce to non-lettuce ingredients (truly a delicate balancing act in a Cobb) and the dressing was perfectly proportionate.
The service was prompt and friendly as well. I always enjoy my experience there and will, of course, be back.

The food is amazing here. Very much Italian based but there are also takeaways from Spain and France as well.

A great option for the movies as well as dining in Evanston.

One of my girlfriend and I's favorite's spot in downtown Evanston for a nice date night. it's conveniently located where can go have good dinner and drinks before heading to a movie (its right next to the theater). We go there at least every other month. The food is also delicious!

Great dining experience! The cauliflower + Brussels sprouts appetizers are absolutely amazing. Service was terrific. Will return!

We had a pre-Valentines dinner this past Saturday. I absolutely loved the ambiance, food and our server, Gio!! Next time I am in Evanston, I will definitely visit Terra and Vine!

Food was very good! Delicious burrata

It’s the second time that we left an umbrella in te restaurant at the end of the night and we call or go to the restaurant in the first hour of the next day and the umbrella doesn’t appear. Follow up: The umbrella that we left yesterday finally appeared, thank you so much! The first one hasn’t appeared but it was 8 months ago, I wasn’t expected that!

Delicious pasta and beer in a comfortable, shaded outdoor dining patio. Perfect for a summer evening in Evanston. Bring good friends and take it slow.

Excellent wine selection. Wonderful service. The menu is eclectic and delicious! Their temporary wine store in the bar has unbeatable prices.
