I had a wonderful experience with Lori! The salon is quiet and secluded, which I really enjoyed because sometimes the loudness of salons bother me. Lori did a wonderful job on cutting my hair, it was exactly what I wanted for a fresh start! The salon is conveniently located on dempster so it was a quick walk for me to get there- will definitely recommend Organic Roots :)

I had a great experience at Organic Roots. My regular hairdresser wasn't available so finding this salon was serendipitous.
Since I'm outside all the time, my hair was brassy and had grown out. Stephanie skillfully returned my color to normal and gave me a super layered cut.
I already booked my next appointment.

I could not be happier with the way Stephanie highlighted and cut my hair. In fact she got everything just right! She listened closely to my requests and did just what I asked - in the most elegant way possible. I will be going back!

Update of December 2023 - Stephanie just did my hair again yesterday. Once again, she did a fantastic job and I came out feeling like a much better version of myself. Thank heavens I found Organic Roots Salon! My hair looks beautiful now!

The absolute best salon in chicago area and suburbs, good pricing, and for the guys with long hair they cut it and layer it perfectly, for the last 2 years I've been looking for a good barber or salon for my long hair and I went here for the second time now and I'm never going anywhere else, try it out

So in love with how my hair came out Stephanie did an amazing job from beginning to end. I had really long hair and I wanted something different but because my hair is curly I needed something easy to manage. Well let’s just say my LOB is so cute and easy to work with I’m in love.

Great experience at this salon! I’ve only been once but I’m sure to be back. I came in wanting a specific style and a good chunk off of my hair, and Lori delivered! I am so happy with the results, and Lori made the entire experience so pleasant. The 70s music station was also a bonus!

Lori always does a terrific job with my cut, style and color! I love how my hair color looks very natural and I feel really good with the fact that her products are organic. I appreciate the 'down to earth' feeling I have when I'm at her salon. It just feels very comfortable. I'm very appreciative of the snacks and beverages she provides and there is always plenty to read! It's like going to a dear friend's house for great hair services. I really don't know how to describe it more accurately than this.

Lori and Stephanie both do great work. I've been to both of them for color and highly recommend both. Lori, the salon owner, is very easy going yet also organized and professional. Stephanie is sweet and both of them are just really pleasant and low key. The space has a warm, mellow ambiance and the staff does good work. I started going to Lori's salon years ago in Morton Grove because she uses products that are less toxic for people and the environment. I stayed with her when she opened Organic Roots in Skokie and have been very happy every time.

My Salon Stylist was the owner Lori. I was very satisfied and pleased with her work! My daughter suggested I start using organic &/or chemical free products. She found this salon 45 min away. It’s worth the trip! Lori took her time and explained. She’s personable and I enjoyed talking with her ! I highly recommend Organic Roots Eco Salon in Skokie, IL.

This place is wonderful! Their hair products, including the coloring,are all organic and therefore not harmful in any way. They are also more gentle on your hair and my hair is in MUCH better condition since I started going there. Lori, the owner, is awesome. She does a beautiful job with highlights and also does a great job with haircuts. I highly recommend this salon!

It was my first time here and my plan was to try Cezanne express. Lori was excellent and very upfront about the services and told what Cezanne would do to and not do to my hair. Salon products are organic and smell like some of the herbal/natural products and have a calming effect on you! I loved the products and home-like salon experience and of course the Stylist!

Awesome salon. I have been to many expensive salons on the North Shore, but this salon is the best. My hair was dry, frizzy and tired looking. I have gotten Keratin, color and a cut from this salon and they have all been sensational. My hair looks soft, shiny and wonderful now. I also feel much better about using all organic products instead of putting a lot of harsh chemicals in my hair which were drying my hair out. I highly recommend this salon and Stefany.

Love my Cezanne smoothing treatment that Lori gave me. I was going to wait to give a review after the first wash, but I loved it so much that I did the review now. Lori was wise in suggesting this, as I was not sure what treatment to get. After speaking to me, she knew exactly what to recommend. Nice clean salon. Highly recommend

I had an amazing experience with Lori. She listened to what I was looking for and exceeded my expectations. Lori was generous enough to invite me back to the salon immediately after I called her with a request for some minor tweaking. I will absolutely continue to use Lori for my hair go-to!! Stefany definitely knows curly hair. I love my cut and how she styled it. She gave me great advice for taking care of my curls. Lori is so nice. They have real organic hair products. Well worth the drive (Indiana). I will absolutely be coming back. Thank you Stefany and Lori.

Always happy when I leave Organic Roots! Lori always does a fabulous job with my color and cut. I have funky hair and if you don’t know what you are doing, my hair turns orange. I have never had orange hair with Lori!! Love that the salon is Organic.......No Smells No Itching!!!!!

Lori is always kind and Both uses her artistic discretion And what I say I generally want,

Her studio is very clean and bright; just being there is a serene break.

Organic Roots carries high-quality vegan make-up, also, @ a reasonable price; high-quality hair care as well.

Recently, I had trouble with coloring my hair; I was experiencing burning along my scalp and ears, and I was worried I would no longer be able to color my hair. However, Organic Roots Eco Salon changed all that. I had the most relieving experience, pain free hair coloring that left my hair feeling so much healthier than any other time I had dyed it. Stephanie was so very helpful and willing to work with me. Overall, great service and great products.

I have got to say this is one of the best hair experiences I have ever had. Was very nervous about starting with someone new. Just moved here from Florida, and I am an ex breast cancer patient. Wanting to go more natural, Organic Roots seemed to be the perfect fit. They made me feel really comfortable and for the first time it wasn't torture to get my roots blonde again.
