This store has everything you’d ever need at the grocery. I live nearby and we go here all the time to get our groceries. Their fresh produce is unmatched. Their customer service is excellent as well. Definitely a nice place to shop.

I spoke to a manager there about bringing in certain items (Dr. Praegers crunchy sweet potato patties and new Sabra houmous flavors) that I was traveling to other stores to get. Imagine my surprise when I saw them two weeks later. Thank you, Village Market Place for listening to your customers.

Amazing neighborhood store. Fantastic produce and deli/ butcher. Fun to find some unique cookies or oils from other countries. Good liquor/wine department, too!

A wonderful place to shop for people of different cultures, a big variety of European style food items.
I would like to mention a young guy Ari from Deli department. He is always very polite, friendly, kind and professional. Whenever I come to buy deli products, he is very helpful and always smiles to me. I would like to be served by more people like him. Wishing him all the best in life.

Wonderful selection! We never leave empty handed. Even just to grab one thing, there are great deals too good to pass up! We are lucky to be able to walk there from our home, even on cooler days like today. (11/19)

Great local market with excellent deals each week on meat & produce!

Nice place for fresh fruits and veggies. Great selection of ethnic foods and baked goods. The deli is huge and popular for prepared items as well as the meats and cheeses you would expect. Great selection of salads and olives :)

I took a trip to the VMP recently and was left starstruck. I was simply shopping for some vegetables, meats, rice, and other house goods and was proceeding with a very ordinary Monday experience. I was just buying groceries as any other regular pedestrian would. Alas, once I proceeded towards the register, I was met by the noble Asif. To put it at short, for the few minutes I spent purchasing my groceries, not only did my day change but rather my entire view of the world had shifted completely. With his charisma and dazzling glamour, Asif was able to bag all of my items efficiently in a manor of time while simultaneously providing me with a feeling of great warmth. Asif displayed a high intelligence for the vegetables, as he was able to precisely identify AND add the codes to the machine. This made me reflect on my life and take a moment to realize how true determination pays off. Asif was able to take such a simple task of scanning and checking out my groceries into a much bigger life lesson. On my way out of the store, my body was recompensed with a feeling of satisfaction and hope in the good of humanity. I cannot speak on the account of the other workers in the store, but if they amount to even 1% of the competence and ingenuity of Asif, I can say that they are on the right track. I rate this experience a 10/10, and will frequently return due to not only the superb groceries but also the charm of this young gentleman. I usually don't write reviews but this moment had left me frozen in a tsunami of profound thought. Kudos to the managers of this organization for finding such a diamond in the rough in the human form of Asif.

Great quality at great prices - produce and meat are fresh and delicious. Craving something eastern european or middle eastern? You can easily find all of the necessary ingredients here. Finally, our car broke down in the parking lot yesterday, and the staff were kind enough to not only let us use their charger while we were waiting on hold for car assistance, but made sure we were comfortable while waiting in the parking lot after closing time. Thank you so much!!!

I like this store a lot and shop there often. So I am disappointed that some bread I purchased there was moldy. I didn’t notice that the bread’s date was expired. Expired dated bread should be removed, so customers can’t buy expire dated bread.

This is a nice neighborhood store. The clerks are friendly and helpful. I like the variety of foods this store sells: Russian , polish, Asian, jewish. I shop there often and recommend the store.

Awesome place for good cheap produce. Everything else rip off unless they have sales.

Great produce selection and excellent prices. Solid deli counter with a wide variety of imported meats, cheeses, olives, etc.

They also have a super selection of Eastern European delicacies and staples.

This is not the place to shop if you eat typical mass-produced garbage like Lunchables, etc.

I love this store. Good, reasonably priced produce. Yummy cheeses and specialty items. Cashiers are always super nice, and do ask before giving my kids the lollipops they know are hidden behind the counter.

Village Market is the best! Friendly staff and great selection of produce for very reasonable prices! They also have a fair selection of standard and specialty grocery items, including Kosher, Asian, Russian, Middle Eastern and Hispanic foods.

I like this local family market a lot. I come here for convenient grocery shopping and better prices on my favorite alcoholic beverages. Very friendly workers eager to help you and occasionally open to purchasing products you recommend.

Great selection of produce and fruit, wonderful homage guacamole fresh everyday...as well as other great salads. Exotic ethnic foods not seen in other store. And a helpful friendly staff at all times.

One of the best fruit and vegetable places on the North Shore, with a huge selection of deli items, pickled fish and vegetables, teas, cookies, and dairy. Highly recommended for price conscious shoppers as well as those with a European palate
