I was just seen today for a 15 minute appointment to discuss medications with him. I looked up everything concerning diagnosis, lab results, previous notes, and brought my medicine bottles in with me. He was questioning why my Gastroenterologist said I should not take Ibuprofen and Tylenol (Probably because I have IBS, GERD and Non-hodgkins stage 2). Also wanted to know why I wanted refill of my Meloxicam. I explained situation and my previous diagnosis of RA. I guess he doesn't believe me and now wants me to be referred to pain clinic instead of Rheumatologist for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I've had horrible doctor experiences in past, but this tops them all. He kept saying he had other patients to see and I was taking up his time. Even though I took the time to go through my whole chart and gather information he didn't want to look up at last visit. He then yelled at me because I couldn't understand him. Thought he was saying I had to go to Tremont IL. He was saying come back in 3 months. Now I'm sitting in my car crying. He left room, no good bye, have a nice day... Nothing. He kept saying listen.. listen..(which I am tone deficit in my left ear and Tinnitus) so hearing and language barrier didn't help. Not to mention masks on face to which sometimes I read lips. He is rude, unkind and I'm a wreck. Guess I've have to look for another doctor... Hopefully he'll be caring and have compassion. I'd be leary of him if you have problems with different languages and or hearing problems. Rant done 😭
