Salerno's Pizzeria & R. Bar

My husband and I came here this past Friday night and even though it was busy, the service was great. We ordered the spinach and artichoke dip and the buffalo chicken pizza which were both phenomenal. I will definitely be back here.

Not much to the poppers, the jalapeno burger was good, the nacho fries were fabulous! Great service! Gambling machines and horse racing off track betting. Lots of TV's for sporting events.

Food amazing as always, but the serious highlight of our visit was the waitress Katie. She was so busy being the only server on horse track day, but she did phenomenal and has such a great attitude and personality. She's amazing!!!

Good food it was a ghost town but the sunday night after thanksgiving i understand. Sunday is 1/2 apps excluding seafood items. Domestic beers $2.50!!!!

We went there because JP & Jenny was the live entertainment. We had dinner because we believe in supporting venues that support live music. We had fish fry, which was pretty good as was the martini, wine and IPA. There was limited space for dancing but the management was supportive and allowed us to slide a few tables around. We will keep Salerno's on our dance card.

Great modern restaurant with some extra entertainment, drinks fairly priced but the food a little pricey for what you get. Good service and friendly atmosphere, patio at the front is very nice, I just made my second visit and they definitely deserve my 5 star review, awesome service from Arlene.

I hosted a friend’s retirement party on their patio. I worked with Joe and Stephanie to set the party up. They were extremely helpful and made the whole process very easy. The day of the event everything went smoothly. The pizza was delicious and our waitress, Tiffany, was attentive especially when we had twice the turn out. Overall, a wonderful experience! Thank you

Great food, love the fish fry on Friday. Pizza and other dishes were very tasty, very enjoyable. Salads are big and filling. Good drink specials and live music. Only down side is it's very loud. Especially when crowded. Feeling like we have to yell to talk to someone on the other side of the table.

Yummy food, 1/2 price wine and domestic beers (Thursdays). Great service. You can't go wrong by going right to Salernos. Different specials daily make it easier to go out to eat!

We were in the area and decided to stop for a quick bite to eat. Great food and great service! What else can you ask for! We had the traditional crust pizza and cheese curds. Both hit the spot!

We started out patronizing this restaurant when they were originally in Berwyn, decades ago. We moved back to McHenry and a few years ago Salernos moved there too. Now we live in Round Lake and still drive 30 minutes to pick up food from here. Our pizza is still hot and delicious when we get it home. They use fresh ingredients and real sausage. We go there at least once a month!

Ordered carry-out. Chicken Parmesan and Garlic Bread were both very good. Enough for two full meals. Easily ordered online. Food was hot and ready as planned. Will definitely be repeat customers.

First timer! Took kids and grandkids ! Smaller than I thought it'd be but wow, they have a nice selection. And it taste better than you could even imagine. They all went for the ice cream 🍦!!!!! Never saw that coming. :):):)
Don't pass it by next time. Easy parking in back.

Their ordering website needs a little work... especially since their voice assistant pushes for web orders and even texts a link. When the web order fails and you call back to request a person... it's a 50/50 chance someone answers.... Work in progress so it is OK!

First time going here. Our server Geo was awesome he had to take care of the whole dining room area and it was swamped on a Saturday night. Food was delicious and reasonably priced and would definitely go back..

What a nice find. They're happening a lot lately.🙏🙏 Nice salad, home made dressing, excellent Chicken Parm sandwich with REAL chicken (imagine) and very fresh bread. Olivia, was great, and there were a lot of people in the restaurant.
