You can't give 0 stars, so I guess it will be one star service (which is generous). I have the exact same issue posted by others - no invoices received, no phone call about "amount due", just a notice from OAC debt collection. As with others, can't talk to anyone because it goes right to voicemail, which is full. I'll be filing with the BBB and contesting the charges. I'd suggest others do the same. Also, the date of service reported on the collections notice was 4 months ago - hardly sufficient to justify collection action being taken.

Like many others here, I was sent a notice of debt from a collection agency because “doctors” claim they sent me a bill and that it was never paid thus it being sold to a collection agency. Not only did I never receive a bill but I could not get in touch with anyone at this office to even verify a bill ever existed and now have to pay off a debt collector that is leveraging my finances against me. I’m honestly surprised Northwestern allows them to do this, repeatedly putting peoples’ livelihoods in danger. This is billing fraud, plain and simple, and these “doctors” should be ashamed of themselves.

Having same issues other people are having. Never received bills and got a notice from collection agency. Tried to call. Goes to voicemail. Drove over an hour to their office in McHenry. 3929 Mercy McHenry Il. Their office is empty and locked. Hope this doesn’t screw up our credit ratings. Someone needs to straighten this out.

Got no bill from these people. Just got a collection agency OAC . No one answering phone at OAC . Mchenry Radiogists you get sent to a full mailbox that hangs up on you and the hospital who schedules for these people send you to there billing who tell you the Radiologists do there own billing . Absolutely the worst. If they had anything lower this place would get it.

Same story... Never received a bill and there only phone number goes to voicemail and the voicemail is full. I tried to pay and contact them but they just sent me directly to collections. I blame the North Western Hospital as well for using these people.

Never received a bill and then got sent to collections. I’ve never not paid a bill in my life so I’m very disappointed that this got sent to collections. It’s also a bill for $12 so it’s not like I couldn’t have paid it at the time. I will specifically stop going to northwestern just to avoid using this team of doctors. Absolutely ridiculous.

Our account was placed in collections. Called the provided number on the info site three times and finally talked to someone from their "Billing" department who stated we sent several statements out. My husband and I confirmed that we never received anything from them. We have always paid our bills on time and for the full amount. Found out that McHenry Radiologists & Imaging changed billing companies. Reading the reviews left they seriously need to find another company or go back to the one they previously had that actually sent out the bills. HORRIBLE PEOPLE took no responsibility for bill not being sent and we were told it must have been a post office problem. Not a chance since we received all the prior statements for McHenry Radiologists before this messed up company took over. FIRE THEM NOW before you lose your business for false reporting to collections!!

Paid a bill in full from 01/22
Have the account number and check stub to prove it.

- no one picks up from their billing department when I have a question about being sent to collections
-collections threatens to put a negative mark against my credit/ even though I can show I paid the bill in full several months ago
-I cannot get a detailed billing statement from collections or the the company because no one picks up the phone

This is billing fraud… plain and simple… This is the type of thing class actions are built on

I'm not one to post negative reviews, but McHenry Radiologists & Imaging BILLING needs to be held accountable for the issues with their billing system. I received a bill from a collection agency after having never received a bill from McHenry Radiologists in the first place. When I called to find out what happened, they confirmed my address with me and said they sent out 3 bills in December, January and February, NONE of which I received. I should also mention that this bill is for $22.75. ?? Also, I'm the type that pays a bill within a day or 2 of receiving it and have a health savings account specifically just for medical bills. After some googling, I see I'm not the only one suffering from the misfortune of their billing problems. Fix your billing system for crying out loud, this is unacceptable!!

Who's doing the billing there? They say I owe $285.52. I wrote at least a month ago stating this was in error and to send corrected bill. Instead of getting their act together, they've turned me over to a collection agency. I have statements from my insurance saying I owe them $26..52. I would have preferred receiving a corrected bill, but will send them the $26.52 with a angry note!

Incorrect billing and then there is no one responding to phone calls or left messages. Not a pleasant experience at all.

I've tried over and over to try and pay this online and I cannot. I've tried to talk to someone and I cannot. Is this a scam?
