Maple Shade Dental of East Peoria

I've been going here for almost a year now. After not having dental insurance for about 10 years, I needed some serious work done to catch up to "factory reset." They've been so kind throughout this uncomfortable journey. I've been to both East Peoria offices as well as to see Dr. Cooper in Dunlap, and all three offices have been wonderful. I love all the staff and couldn't recommend them more.

At my first appointment the staff took a complete set of x-rays. That was helpful as the practice I patronized in the past did not send my last x-rays and records as requested. My options were presented along with information about what my insurance would and would not cover. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Wonderful experience. My insurance made me change dentists and I’m glad they did. The new patient experience was wonderful. Very professional and extremely thorough. The staff is amazing!! They are so nice. I would recommend Maple Shade in East Peoria to everyone!!!

I can't say enough good things about my treatment from Maple Shade. I lost a filling and had some other minor issues and they were fantastic. I have never experienced such a well-run operation and I have made them my permanent dental office. Every appointment was right on time and all staff has been extremely friendly. Overall, I am totally satisfied and was even surprised that their costs were reasonable. I highly recommend them!

Great place that’s military-friendly, they got me healthy and deployment-ready and dentist expertly filled out my paperwork. The dentist assistant was also very kind and friendly as well as was the hygienist. They do get busy so keep that in mind when scheduling, but they do their best to accommodate if they’re given enough notice in advance. Scheduled online with a quick and easy system and also did all my paperwork online.

Maple Shade is hands down the best dentist I have found in the area! Everyone from the receptionists, to the hygienist, and Dr. went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The hygienist did an AMAZING job on my deep cleaning. She listened to my concerns of having had a bad experience at another dentist that had caused me a lot of pain and made sure I was adequately numbed for the cleanings. She continuously checked on me during the cleaning making sure I was still comfortable.

After receiving such amazing service here, I will never go to another dentist. They also did an amazing job with my children's cleanings. The receptionist actually called me a few weeks before their appointments to see if we wanted their cleanings and exam all done on the same day so they wouldn't need to come back a second time, which I was so happy for because it meant less work missed for me.

I will recommend Maple Shade to everyone that's looking for a dentist in the area!

This is a great dental office! When we moved to the area, they accepted our insurance, and were able to get my boys in right away, as well as myself. Great people, calm atmosphere, and great service. I recommend these folks highly!

Highly recommend this practice to anyone searching to become established! From the moment I entered, I was treated like a long standing patient. The office was extremely friendly, professional, and compassionate. Dr Melchor listened to my concerns and was extremely thorough with my options for the duration of my appointments. He followed up with a phone call to personally monitor my pain level after an office procedure and encouraged me to reach out with any issues/concerns thereafter. He genuinely cares about the well-being of his patients and their individual needs! My entire family will be establishing shortly. Again, I would give more than 5 stars if I could!! Highly recommend.

Friendly and knowledgeable, willing to explain whatever issues I had/have and give me multiple suggestions in order to fix it! This place is great. I usually walk out feeling better than when I came in even if my mouth is numb or in pain solely because of how kind the staff are. :)

I have had bad dental experienced so I was always stressed going to the dentist. But Dr. Morgan is amazing! Previously my mouth would hurt afterwards especially my gums where I would get a shot if Novocain but not with Dr. Morgan. She is by far the best dentist I’ve ever had!!!!

Took my daughter for her first exam/cleaning. They have the most incredible staff! My daughter is terrified of brushing her teeth so I knew It was going to be difficult, but they were so good with her. They made he feel comfortable enough to do the exam but she wasn’t quite comfortable enough for a cleaning. The people at the desk were also super helpful and friendly.

I recently started going here and from the jump this staff and Doctors have gone above and beyond my expectations. They truly make you feel welcome and like you can TRUST them. Dr. Melchor actually called me personally and answered all my questions and more for about 15-20 minutes and got me in the next day just to make sure I was alright. All the way down the line great! assistants (Sara(h)?) front desk personnel (Christine) and I think the hygienist (Tyler) either way he is awesome too! lol Thank you guys!

I got in for an "emergency" the same day I called. Dr. Shanahan was wonderful & had a very nice bedside manner. Explained everything step by step! I felt absolutely nothing the entire time. My dental assistant was also very helpful and friendly (sorry I didn't get your name!) Entire staff was great!

I haven't been able to find an affordable dentist for 2 years. I was referred to this office by a client of mine. I was able to get in that week & so thankful I did. Jill was my hygienist & did a fabulous job, my teeth have honestly never felt so clean. Excited for my fall appointment already!

These company is amazing. They helped me and cared about me from the minute I walked in the door. My change in work and insurance status took both myself and the company for a whirlwind adventure but we got it all figured out and I got my teeth cleaned as scheduled. I couldn't have been more thankful for how patient, kind, and understanding the whole team was with my situation! Maple Shade was referred to me by a good friend and previous co-worker, I'm so glad she told me about them!!

Dentist office has the sweetest assistants aswell asknowledgeable and skilled dentists. Not as cheap as secure dental but there's a reason I don't go there anymore. My experience at maple shade makes me want to go back to finish the rest of my dental work I need done!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I enjoyed talking to Gavin while he prepped me for the Dentist. I felt at ease and my entire procedure was explained. Efficient and comprehensive service. The Dentist did a great job and I promised to eat less Reece Cups! 🤩
