As a OTR trucker i love this Flying J. This place has a huge parking lot for trucks, up to 100+ and at least 20+ bobtail spaces, and 12 fuel lanes that move pretty fast. This place also has a RV dump and pumps for vacationers. The store is clean and orderly and the staff is friendly and helpful. I would recommend this travel center to all when traveling through the St.Louis Metro area.

Clean, lots of food, quiet lounge area for drivers, restrooms on both sides of station. Employees were pleasant and helpful.

Staff is always friendly and work hard. Most of the problems with a truck stop are because of unprofessional poorly trained drivers that do not care about the next driver. Parking on fuel islands or cat scales or trashing the parking lots restrooms and showers. The truck stop is there for truck drivers but it is the drivers that make a truck stop what it is. The staff always do what they can to help. One look at what drivers have done to them is why alot of places do not allow trucks on their property.

I wish to highly commend your employees! They had a rough time!Specifically when both water heaters went out recently and there was no hot water for the showers. Your employees seemed to be calm & lighthearted, willing to explain and reassure people who were waiting for showers, and quick to call for service to work on the heaters. It is very refreshing to see great customer service...especially when it's needed the most! THANK YOU!

I am sure that I had previously rated Flying J Travel five stars. If this somehow didn't get posted correctly, let me set the record straight. My son and l stopped in for a late night meal and I was pleasantly surprised at the amount of great food available. The meal we ordered was cooked to perfection and was really tasty. The place was very clean as well as the rest rooms. Give them a try. I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Small pilot! But the store was clean and workers were nice. We have an RV so we used the dump station it was in working order and had fresh water for our tanks as well. It was very busy store. I don't know if they allow over night parking or not but the lot is very small.

Idk but I always prefer FJ … this one clean and organized- it is 2:49 pm Sunday and I find a free parking spot … at this time not too much free parking available … but now a lot of Reserved ( to pay) parking available.

I always get pj fresh and their food is yummy, and service is superb. I loved the cleaning of the showers so detailed you can tell they wiped everything down. They have plenty of semi parking as well as their parking lot is decently clean.

I don't think I have ever been to a Flying J that isn't clean and organized with bathrooms you could eat off of the floor.
It's great not to have to wait in line because some lazy manager didn't want to schedule.enoufh cashiers for a random Tuesday and the poor person running the counter has to man the fuel desk and help out truckers and four wheelers on vacation who love to hog the left lane and exacerbate my ulcer.
Sorry!!! Back to Flying J!!! Awesome place hands down.

Stopped by around dinner time looking for a snack (Cinnabon centers) and ended up getting the loaded potato soup and cornbread because of Sarah's recommendation. She was really helpful and friendly, and rang me out on a main register since the Cinnabon register was closed. I've consistently had good service here, and so has my brother (owner/operator).

They were so great. We hit something on the interstate that shredded our tire. We limped to the Flying J. They looked up a tire repair company close by, made a call to them and we were on our way shortly. We are from out of state so their help was greatly appreciated. The flying J is very clean, has a huge selection of great food, clean restrooms, and very friendly and helpful employees.

There has been a positive change to the shower cleaning operation. The girl running the acid and the disinfectant does a pretty good job. Driver, please consider leaving a tip when you are done in the shower.

Reviewing this fine establishment is like deciding which good tooth to get pulled. By a dentist with a hammer and a chisel. It’s ugly.

The good of it, is that it’s a well managed business, mostly. And all the mushy feel-good that goes with that, is all yours. Sometimes I cringe for what these employees have to deal with. And they are doing a pretty good job here, considering some of the customers, and the sheer volume of feet through the doors.

Then there’s the truckers that frequent this place. Most are cool dudes with a job to do, and places to go. This review is not about them, either.

But a pretty good chunk of the trash that hang around, for whatever reason, is the sort of citizen that makes you question your membership to the human race. Animals. That’s right, animals.

So, pardon the urine stench in the parking lot, the grease on the chairs, the trash laying about and the panhandling out in the yard, the suspicious smells in the showers. Because this, my friends is a USDA approved hog pen, by the smell of it.

I have left a more cheerful review for the Denny’s next door.

As for my usual rant regarding under-designed facilities, it’s clear that this Flying J was designed back in the day with the expectation that it might get busy, some day. They had built it big, by 1985 standards. But the warehouses nearby and the increased traffic has caught up with the capacity a long time ago, and it shows. The re-model has helped a little, but it had not increased the capacity. Your profitable little truck stop has crossed the line to inefficient hog-pen a long time ago.

If ever there was an example of the negative impact on the trucking industry by the mandated ELD system, here’s where that picture is painted, crisp and clear, in full color. I am surprised that more people ain’t hurt in the parking lot by CB Rambo’s with a clock to catch.

Friendly and helpful workers. Very clean and organized. It's a Denny's restraunt inside but i didn't try the food. And if you're a CDL driver, you might want to get a spot before 6 pm cause it was packed on my visit. P.S. the hot food is pretty damn good too!

I'm always excited to come to work at this pilot, though I'm new and also part time managed a different kind of store a month ago , as well as managed a loves in STL for over a year . This pilot store excels in customer service , cleaniness, and
food preparation for our guests. This is due in major part to all the team members I work with who are very well versed in the day to day operations of this location. Everyday I go in with the collective thought we all do to serve you, our drivers , vacationers, travelers, and other guests to the absolute best quality of customer service possible. Pilot/ Flying J in pontoon is an awesome place , with an epic team.

Today I had a great experience and was actually pleased with the treatment I got at this pilot/flying J store. An associate by the name of Mya helped me from A-to-Z on Labor Day with my truck and trailer parking. She had a smile on her face the entire time while helping me she was very helpful. Pilot is very lucky to have her. Keep up the great work young lady

This company never fails to impress me. They cater to a large volume of customer. The place looks great, clean and well stocked. Employees are nice, friendly and helpful. Also it has a RV dump station for campers.

This is the FJ with the Denny's I just commented on. It also was well run and service friendly. Several spots still open on truck parking lot when I got there Sat. p.m. Decent showers readily available. Good size parking lot.
