Pepe's Mexican Restaurant

I simply cannot get enough of their salsa…Garden fresh taste with big chunks of onion…..ordered the tostadas and they came out awesome, as always. Their rice recipe is different from before and it is much better, and has remained consistent for the past few months. You simply can’t get nicer service, anywhere. This is a definite place to go if you haven’t been here in a while.

OH! Hubs ordered fries with his burrito. He got so many, he couldn’t finish his meal! I am betting anyone would be hard pressed to eat an entire burrito and a side of fries.

I rated this Pepe's visit real high because they are getting harder and harder to find. Margarita was still good, tacos were awesome, and service was great. I wish you closer!!

I love this place! The customer service is fantastic - they remember our family each time we go there and take great care of the kids who eat there. And speaking of eat, the carne asada and salsa is so flavorful. And the Pina coladas are AMAZING! They make their own mix which makes my mouth water just thinking about them. Highly recommend this place!

Pretty good place the food needs just a little flavor specially the rice ...but other than that it was good the service was great and atmosphere was good 😊

Always great food and great service. I usually get the taco salad or burrito Frito . The Carne Asada is Highly recommended for Oswego dining

My husband and I recently came across Pepe's Mexican restaurant. We've had dinner twice on Friday evenings. The place was clean, the servers were friendly and offered suggestions on meals and drinks. The wait time is reasonable and prices are fair for the portion sizes.

I will say if you are used to delicious, authentic Mexican cuisine, stay away from the Americanized yellow cheesy meals and cheap tequila for your margaritas. (If it's dripping with yellow cheese, it's not real Mexican food.)

We liked their chicken mole and tostadas. We don't care for very sweet margaritas but their strawberries were fresh in the margarita with Patron tequila. We didn't like the Oaxacan (Mayan) tamales, they were too dry for us but others may like them just fine.

We would stop in again and try out other dishes and drinks. They have happy hour on Thursdays with discounted drinks.

Great family special on the nights when you just can't get it together to make dinner! Their food is consistent and tasty. I love the pickled vegetables to garnish my tacos. They also have half price margaritas twice a week which can't be beat!

The restaurant was empty, so we had the place to ourselves. I enjoyed my food. I enjoyed speaking my limited Spanish with the owner. She was very helpful and accommodating. I will return and eat there again.

Food is delicious, service is always good at this location, yummy fruity drinks.

Tastes pretty authentic! I love the taste! Service is great! The staff always makes sure you have enough chips and make sure you are satisfied! I have a Nissan Rogue that was getting fixed across the street and I thought I’d give it a try. The quesadillas are AWESOME!!!!!!! The chips just taste amazing! I have served my duty of writing another positive review!

I was very impressed with the professionalism, and courtesy given to me when I came in. The restaurant was very clean, the food was fantastic and plentiful. You can eat inside and the atmosphere was great. If you want good food and a soothing atmosphere then I would recommend this place. I ate the steak taco dinner, my girlfriend had a veggie burrito, we were both happy with our experience here and will return.

Pepes Oswego highly recommended and more than 5 stars. RICKY,GERRY,ELSA and all the rest of the staff are great! Quality cooks and food, they make everything a great experience and we are regulars and they feel like family

Food was hot and tasted great

The waitress was beyond attentive. I'd not had Pete's in a couple of years, as I'd moved 5 years ago from having one just down the street. Little did I know, I actually have one, just a few a streets down there is another Pete's. Food was served fresh and hot, and very delicious. Servings were much greater than I remembered and could barely eat half. Most of it came home with me for a couple of left over meals. Yum !!

It's not real Mexican food as some say but it is good. I have been eating Pepe's since I can remember and love that any Pepe's I go to has the same taste. The Pepe's in Oswego though has been my go to lately. Friendly staff and great food.

Friendly staff. To me that makes all the difference because honestly, I can stay home and make my own tacos. It's nice to have friendly reliable service. Thumbs way up to them.

Excellent service every time, always a smiling face too assist you with polite and timely service! Food is always amazing, great margaritas and daiquiris good family friendly environment, I love that every time I come here everything I order and all of my drinks are always consistent with every other time I come here and that is the key to a very successful restaurant consistency!

Food was good. Service was EXCELLENT. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and did special treats for my one year old daughter. Will definitely go back!
