Boothbay Animal Hospital

We retired to Boothbay Harbor just over a year ago. Establishing a new veterinarian for our two aging dogs was a priority. Wow, did we find the right place! I cannot express how welcoming everyone who works at the Boothbay Animal Hospital is and how Dr. Letteney spends unhurried, caring time to be sure our pets get what they need. Feel free to bring your loved pet here without hesitation. You'll be happy you did.

The staff and doctors at Boothbay Animal Hospital have always treated my animals with the tenderest care and expertise. From puppyhood to end of life care my family has appreciated their advice and guidance. I have never felt rushed and all staff and docs get down on floor with my German Shorthair Pointers and obviously enjoy what they are doing. I am a physician and observe that their interactions with their patients and ‘families’ are genuine .

We love the Boothbay Animal Hospital. Our cat needed emergency surgery for bladder stones and Dr. Miller was able to operate on him that day. He has been doing great since. The staff is very friendly and our dog loves going there and getting lots of adoration. Highly recommend!

The vets and staff at BBAH are the best. They demonstrate how much they care at every visit. I am always confident and at ease when they are assessing a problem or a preventive visit. The staff up front are friendly and very capable and always gather up whatever I need.

The Boothbay Animal Hospital is amazing. Everyone working there is kind, honest, and so patient with any and all of my questions or concerns with my sweet pups. I was so impressed with our first visit that I now drive 45 minutes from my home just to stay with them. 100% recommend!

We were visiting from N.C. when our Goldendoodle required emergency surgery one evening. Boothbay Animal Hospital was kind enough to provide post-surgery monitoring and a needed second visit. Dr. Dean, Dr. Kristen and staff rock!!!!

I have an extremely difficult dog. Dr Domeyer is amazing and puts up with him and remains calm the entire time. He tries to make me relaxed and calm and is so kind even though my dog is not very nice when he’s at the vet. The front desk staff is helpful, amazing, kind, understanding and compassionate. The office is immaculately clean. This practice is top notch!!! I am thankful!
