Lalos Mexican Grill & Bar

I’m still loving this place. We visit every week during the summer and I’m having a lot of fun exploring the menu. Best dish so far has been quesadillas locas. The one “could be better dish” was the fish tacos and that wasn’t bad - we just wished for bigger hunks of fish and cabbage instead of lettuce. My choice tonight was enchiladas locas which was good but would have been excellent with more cheese and enchilada sauce.

What a great experience! I know restaurants always have to work harder when families arrive with kids. Lalos handled everything with a pleasant attitude. Great kids menu, attentive service, table where both kids could see tvs. For a family group of six they delivered two baskets of chips and two bowls of salsa. Food was piping hot and quickly served. Portions were generous and reasonably priced. And delicious. Refills offered immediately when drinks were getting low. But please don't rush there and take our table because we will be regulars!

New to the area and decided to check this place out and glad we did. Margaritas were so good. The service was great and friendly. The Jalisco dish was delicious. Will be coming back lots for their margarita pitchers.

This new restaurant is a wonderful addition to the dining options in Ada. Lalos took over a previous high-end tap room and converted it into a Mexican restaurant. Very nice indoor space as well as outdoor dining options. Wonderful food, significant quantity, and very fair prices. This will definitely be a new favorite of mine as Mexican is my favorite type of food. Check it out I think that you will like it.

We’re new to the area and decided to try this place via takeout. The food was ready quickly and fresh when we got it home. The steak tacos were surprisingly good. My initial reaction was it looked like the steak was overcooked and maybe a little stiff but it wasn’t the case at all! I only wish they were offered street style and not just gringo style. Rice and beans were good. My husband ordered a side of beans and the portion was huge for $5… always a plus. We used the leftovers to make huevos rancheros the next morning and it was perfect. Tempted to buy and extra side of beans next time solely for that purpose!

Wonderful restaurant. Service and food were amazing, our food was so fresh our waitress had to hold our plates with a kit so she wouldn’t burn herself. I have no complaints, everything was delicious and wonderful. Yes, it is SLIGHTLY pricier but you get more than enough food for the money and plus you have so many options for alcoholic beverages if that’s what you’re there for. Definitely will be coming back!

Would love for this place to offer just a few more authentic style dishes as most are more for the US standard. That being said, the dishes are delightful and the wait-staff is superb. Friendly, clean environment with a nice atmosphere. The patio is heated and also comfy.

Awesome service and food. We went Cinco de Mayo at 5 pm and the place was packed. They were well staffed and they were hustling around. Very professional and courteous. Drinks and tortilla chips were brought out and our meals were ordered. The food was very good.

Best Mexican restaurant! Food is always delicious. My fav is the chimichangas! Crispy, creamy and so good. Service can be a bit slow, but not enough to keep us from going back.

Loved the steak tacos 😋 It's my favorite and great to find a 2nd go-to place close by. Our server was friendly and tentative. The atmosphere was okay. It felt more industrial and not like a cozy Mexican restaurant.

So happy to finally have a good Mexican restaurant in Ada. We have ordered delivery 4 times and every time we have been happy. Very nice people working there. If they had any question at all about the order they called to make sure they got i right. We will be very excited post-pandemic, to visit in person. Everything is good--but our family really favors the burritos. Wonderful salsa. Carnitas are huge and beautifully tender. We all adore the bean dip.

We've been starved for a Mexican restaurant in Ada as long as I can remember and this place made the wait worth it. Their portions are generous and flavorful. My personal favorite is the huevos rancheros, but I've never had anything that wasn't great there. They even have horchata for kids, or anyone with a sweet tooth.

Great authentic Mexican cuisine and an affordable price. The staff are always super friendly and the restaurant is always clean.

Ordered through a delivery service and despite being take out, the food was amazing! The Nachos Carbon had delicious chicken and steak and the chicken quesadilla was great. Perhaps more pricey than some places around GR, but totally worth it!

I ate there for the first time on December 15 and my meal surpassed my expectations. Most of the extensive menu items can be found at other Mexican restaurants, but the flavor of my dish was unique and well balanced. I'm impressed and will return.

Finally! Delicious Mexican food, close to home. We were so excited to try out Lalo’s take out and were not disappointed. Love the giant menu - lots of options for everyone.

Was impressed to see how busy they were for a new restaurant, during COVID restrictions, and it was only 5:30PM. Far busier than I had ever witnessed the restaurant in this location prior. Order was 100% accurate and ready upon arrival. Can’t wait to go back when indoor dining resumes for Michigan!

This new restaurant opened a few miles from my home. The first time I had the food it was a take out order. It was good, but nothing beats being there. The food is amazing. The service is great. The atmosphere is wonderful. I can't recommend this place enough.
