What a find! We came here to do a wine tasting, and ended up having lunch. The wines were quite pleasant, the bartender/ waiter was very helpful and friendly. The shock though was the quality of the food. The chef was trained at a culinary institute in Thailand, and it shows. I had the cashew chicken and my wife had the pad tai. We also had spring rolls. We loved all the dishes. The portions were huge and we had to take some home. Even the desserts were quite good. We will definitely be back.

Thai food and beautiful wine, yes please. I was eating hotdogs and burgers for a week camping at Keith Charters State Park in Traverse City. Need some spice.

I actually went in to taste wine at Hawkins (what’s up Stranger Things) and I saw the Thai food signs. So glad I found this gem.

I ordered the Green Curry and it was so damn good. So so good. Fresh ingredients and spicy. Riesling was a good pairing with it.

Anyways there’s too many doors at this joint but either way you get three options, wine tasting room, Thai deliciousness, or buy your best Auntie some obscure yard ornaments.

And your food comes in metal tin to go pie plates. Heat the leftovers up right over your campfire. This was a great treat.

Great service hands down. We stopped next store to pick up some wind chimes and made our way here. The peach-honey wine was top tier and we bought two bottles.

We decided yo stop in for a wine tasting today and came back for dinner. Everyone in our party of 6 loved their food. I had the pad thai with chicken. Fresh and delicious, this was an amazing meal. Enjoy a meal on their patio, you won’t regret it.

We came here for the first time and it was great! We started in the tasting room, and the hostess was so friendly and helpful. We stayed for a glass of wine and then went over to the dining room side for dinner. My husband came across this place online and the Thai food is what originally caught our eye and drew us in. I am so happy to have found This gem and we will definitely be back. The food was delicious - so fresh and authentic. We had the green chicken curry and the chicken pad Thai. Delicious.

Our motor home broke down right in front of HFC and we were welcomed to stay the night in the lot awaiting a tow. We had both lunch and dinner in the Thai restaurant and the food was delicious. So much so I had the Tom Yum soup each time as it’s among the best I’ve had. We also enjoyed the wine tasting while we were there. If you are looking for amazing Thai or craft pizza don’t drive on by, you won’t find better! To the owner please accept our thanks again for turning a bad day into a wonderful one!

First time stopping after driving by for years. Enjoyed 3 of the red wines and even bought a bottle. The vintner did a good job on the 2 dry and 1 semi dry wines. I might have to check in down state in Fennville as this is where these grapes are from.

When driving north in M-22 from Traverse City toward Leland ("Fishtown"), be sure to stop at Hawkins Farm Cellars for a delicious and inexpensive wine tasting served up by courteous, helpful, and kind locals. My twin cousins were casually celebrating their birthday this July and the wine steward made the day feel extra special.

Bonus: Groesser Park is on the other side of M-22, so if you have a few too many sips, you can wait it out while taking in the sights, sounds, and feels of Grand Traverse Bay.

Love this place! My husband and I went to their Thai restaurant twice while we visited the area on our anniversary weekend. Their pizzas are amazing. The idea of a Thai restaurant mixed in with a wine tasting room seemed odd and we almost didn’t go because it just seemed like a strange combo. I’m glad we went! My husband isn’t much for pizzas but he loves their chicken margarita pizza.

Let’s not forget the wine. OMG! The peach and honey wine is the best wine ever. You also have to try the cranberry wine too. We were definitely impressed with the quality of wine the served especially for not being a well known winery. I think they took the 1st place spot on my favorite wine list.

We come up a few times a year and usually hit the peninsula where most go to do tastings. This year stayed in Sutton Bay and checked out this place. Wow best wine I have had and we got 7 tastes for $10. That is a great deal compared to the other places!! Check them we loved it!!

This is a wonderful place! The wine was amazing and the tasting was affordable with great service. We also HAVE to recommend the Thai restaurant that is connected to the winery. It is probably the best Thai food weve eaten ever. Great hostess too. Overall such a great experience!!!

Peach & Honey wine is amazing. The Iced wine is great. Nice how they separate the bar with one side for sweet wines & one side for dry wines, makes your selection process much easier & more enjoyable. The staff was very knowledgeable of the different wines & ciders & gave great recommendations. A great stop for wine tasting.

Absolutely FANTASTIC wait staff on 4/23/22, both the young man that did our wine tasting and took our drink order and the woman that did our dinner order. Great job to both of you! Food was spectacular!!!!!!

We really enjoyed this place! They have little shops connected aswell if there is a wait which for us there wasn’t and it was so nice! It’s a stand up type of tasting. For 5 tastes it’s only $5 and they give you great portions. I LOVED the cranberry and blueberry sweet wine. I tried some of the ciders aswell but I like sweet wines. I ended up buying the cranberry. To taste the ice wine it’s $3 and they give you a good amount. It’s $39 for a bottle on ice wine but averages around $16 for the others. Our bartender was very accommodating and super nice. You can also buy the glasses for around $5. Would recommend!

Wonderful food! I had the Kung Pao Chicken the rest of our party had pizza, it was all delicious. The cranberry wine and Currrant Attraction are my favorites! We had a blast wine tasting on the enclosed patio! The overhead heaters, fireplace, and the wine kept us warm on a cold day. We will definitely visit again.

We are locals and live close by, we have had the pizza and it was good but hadn’t tried their Thai food yet. It was really good. I feel like it’s overlooked by most but the food is well worth the stop

This is an amazing place! A little on the pricey side, but well worth the cost, especially compared to other area establishments. We had the Margarita pizza and it was amazing. Fresh veggies, all organic. Yum! We are making this a place to go for our yearly trip up here.

We are.staying in Apt 2A.at Hawkins and it is charming. First, it's absolutely emaculate and as a neat nick that's really important me. The apartment is perfect for two, it's very cozy and there's lots of storage. It's sort of a studio style but it has a good sized separate bedroom with wonderful closet space and a large armoire for everything else. There's also a good sized laundry which is an awesome addition to the space. The bathroom is great sized too with tons of storage. We highly recommend this place. As an added bonus the restaurant on site is fantastic! Farm to table deliciousness and if you are vegan they really cater by offering a vegan option for almost all dishes. Raz (one of the staff), is a complete joy, extremely friendly and welcoming. We can't say enough about what a great place this is.,..Five Stars all the way!!

Hawkins Farm Cellars was absolutely great. We were driving through Traverse city trying to kill time, and pulled in here for a quick drink. The tastings are good prices, and you are able to order rolls from the kitchen too! I also really enjoyed that they were not overly busy when we visited, made the experience relaxing.
