Decorative Stitch

Researched online and was between two models, they were extremely helpful in pointing out the differences and didn’t attempt to upsell/pressure me. Even helped me shop for some notions & get exactly what I needed to start a project same day! So many things to look at for purchase and just gorgeous projects displayed. Prices were on par with chain stores and some online retailers. It’s nice to be able to support a local shop without breaking the bank! Absolutely will be back for more.

Not only does Decorative Stitch have a good choice of fabrics, notions and machines, but every person is very knowledgeable about the products and its use. They know their customers by name, and everyone I've encountered has been very friendly and helpful. Excellent customer service.

This is a class act. As a sales professional for over 40 years keeping in touch or responding to customers is an absolute "must". Whatever my question...need a certain foot for my machine, when are the next classes, how much does it cost, do you have XX available in the store, can you check on that product? ANYTHING, I get a reasonable response. Usually they provide the answer quickly OR the actually call me back! (in a good time frame). Quality too! Great materials, good selection, Covid operations very meticulous and OPTIONS for help, virtually or otherwise. Had some VERY bad experiences w/other stores. Not this one AND their repair person is top notch. He fixed what I thought was a trashed machine that another dealer (where I had purchased it) tore it apart to "fix" it then returned it in pieces saying I had ruined it! $120 later they had TOTALLY cleaned and repaired it! Runs like a charm. They KNOW their products. SO enjoying my new Ariel machine and the classes I've been able to attend/view so far! SWEET SWEET, KIND PEOPLE.

I signed up from North Carolina for a Zoom class scheduled for late in January by Decorative Stitch. Part of the preparation was to phone the shop to order my materials. They were very helpful on the phone and very efficiently took my credit card information and address to mail me my supplies. I received the supplies within a few days via FedEx; very carefully packaged and very nicely organized with a cover letter on top instructing me of next steps. I'm really looking forward to the class now, because they handled the distance set-up process so flawlessly.

I just purchased the Baby Loc Accord for my Granddaughter who just turned 7. I was very excited to find this machine available. Everyone at Decorative Stitches is always very friendly & knowledgeable. I always enjoy their classes. I am never disappointed.

I really love this shop! Everyone who works here is always so helpful and goes the extra mile to serve their customers. Their selection of fabrics is wonderful. I'm looking forward to being able to take one of their classes in 2021.

This is the best quilt shop around! They have a great selection of fabrics and they sell accuquilt supplies and many other supplies. They also offer classes. The owner and staff are super friendly and helpful. They always go out of their way to help you find what you're looking for. The owner let our girl scout troop come in a couple of years ago and use all of their machines to sew pillow case dresses for our bronze award service project. Wonderful place!

Wonderful selection of fabrics, patterns and notions. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are also a BabyLock dealer and I have purchased two machines from them. Competitive pricing and great service.

I LOVE this store!!! I traded in an embroidery machine for a sewing only machine. I had great service and a wonderful experience. I can't wait to take some in person classes there once Covid is behind us (fingers crossed). I can't say enough good things about this store, the staff, the variety of machines, fabric, etc!

Beautiful store, prices are like a nice quilt shop, the fabric is unique and lots of variety. Fun classes and I just bought a sewing machine and they offer lots of classes. Friendly and helpful staff. They just had a customer appreciation day, fabric was 30 percent off, food and a scavenger hunt. Wow!

I always enjoy my time spent at this store. The staff is extremely helpful and whatever they don’t have in stock they always offer to order it for me. I can’t seem to go in there without spending a couple hundred dollars on thread and fabric. All in all I have never had a bad experience in this store.

Just bought a new quilting machine here today. What a wonderful experience. The people were amazing, very helpful and I left with my new toy. Can't wait to go back and show them some of my future projects.

I like everything about Decorative Stitch. The people are wonderful. I feel that they look out for me and do all they can to help me find the materials and knowledge I need. The classes vary widely and are interesting and have increased my sewing skills. I primarily make clothing and first started visiting Decorative Stitch after I purchased a serger. My goal was to learn how to use my new serger. As I've taken classes and purchased supplies, my desire to learn more sewing skills has grown. The employees make samples of the products they teach in classes and sell in the store. Everything is beautifully constructed and the more time I spend wandering around, the more classes I want to take, and the more products I want to make. I have made multiple projects. They make great gifts! And I'm planning for the next class I hope to take.

I love going to Decorative Stitch! They are my local quilt shop. They have great fabric selections. Whenever I have gone in there, they have been super helpful with answering any questions that I have. They are always very friendly and prompt with their services.

I ordered a lot of varied-length cuts of kona cotton online when Decorative Stitch was having a sale, to be shipped to GA. I'm sewing masks, and they had a huge variety of colors that I couldn't find anywhere else (out of stock), for a great, low price. They called to let me know that one item was backordered so I could decide if I wanted to wait for it. Everything else arrived exactly as ordered, neatly folded, in perfect condition. When the backordered fabric came back in stock, they called to inform me it would be on the way and when it arrived they included a few extras and a note thanking me for waiting. The ladies who run this store are as sweet as can be and I highly recommend shopping here for the best service and best deal.

A very nice selection of fabrics of all kinds, I can always find what I need. Lots of notions and now two sewing machine brands, Babylock and Bernina. Staff is friendly and very helpful. Great programs like Kimberbelle and Accuquilt. Great kits and fabric bundles.

Decorative is a very friendly and helpful store. They back their products, give free lessons for life on sewing machines you buy from them. They have all kinds of lessons and expert instructors I highly recommend them5 star

Great class today. I learned appliqué and embroidery by making a Christmas pillow. The teacher Sarah was very good and helpful. I enjoyed it. The store has a wonderful selection of projects and fabric.

I stumbled upon Decorative Stitch a year ago looking for an Embroidery and Sewing Machine. Not only have I purchased a Baby Lock Aventura from Decorative Stitch, I have return again and again for fabrics, stabilizer, thread and inspiration. The staff is always helpful and they offer lots of classes as well!
