Tenden is an absolute hidden gem! If you see it, you NEED to stop! This was my first time ever coming to Tenden and it won't be my last! First off the customer service is mind blowing! You got questions? They have all the answers! Super friendly, super helpful, and willing to go the extra mile! Though the store is small, it is mighty! You can get a little bit of everything here! Hats, belts, purses, clothing, bonsai trees, vintage sewing machines, feild notes, wallets, socks, shirts, pants, incense, soaps, candles, lotions, knives, and the list goes on! The leather goods are especially amazing! There is literally something for everyone here! Oh, and did I mention Field notes? These are so hard to find in a local retail shop! I loved everything about this store and can't wait to go back!

Places like TENDEN are all too rare. The attention to detail, the style, the ruggedness, the handmade quality of the goods are all off the charts, and then you realize why it is rare. This is what made in the USA could and should be. Put your money where your mouth is and support places like this. Buy a pair of jeans built to last longer than any pair you’ve ever owned. TENDEN isn’t just a great store for West Michigan, it would be a great store anywhere in the world.

When you step through the door of Todd's studio, you enter an experience that I can only compare to a 1960's movie set. You're in the thick of a creative mind and a shop so detailed and intimate that you can't help but be swept up in the owner's vision. From the denim itself to the retro camping necessities and rustic handmade goods, you'll discover treasures artfully tucked away in every corner. TENDEN and its offerings are established in time-honored and close-to-heart excellence, unlike anything I've seen in my global travels. I was in awe of the quality and clear care and energy put into every item Todd has crafted. We cannot wait for the next excuse to walk through this shop and it is a must-see in Grand Haven...or indeed, the U.S.

Tenden was an amazing shop and the only regret was not getting to meet Todd, the shop owner and the 'man behind the machines'. Todd uses these vintage sewing machines to make great quality clothing and accessories with an industrial feel to them. A true artist with a love for his work. After his assistant showed me her bag and a shop owner next door, I decided to go back and get a bag for myself and I can't wait to start using it. My kids and I all bought merch in his shop.

I stumbled upon TENDEN this afternoon while I was Grand Haven earlier today. Being someone who wears small run selvedge denim, it was incredible to walk in and see Todd sewing up a pair right in the shop. I spent probably 30mins in the shop chatting with Todd. He has some incredible fabrics on hand, and the quality of the goods he had on the shelves is amazing. I didn’t buy anything today, but I will know this shop will be my new go-to.

I have been buying handmade goods from Todd for around 3 or 4 years now and his stuff keeps getting better! If you want quality don't sit on it, it is worth every penny and then some, I have a great experience every time I visit!!

This is one of the finest shops in grand haven. If you appreciate fine handmade goods and a curated selection of other items then this is a must see. Todd takes pride in everything he puts in his store and that shows. Highly recommended.

I'm a long time customer, super happy that Todd has a shop so more people can see his work first hand. I'm a proud owner of 3 pairs of pants, 5 shirts made by Todd, it's pretty much all I wear.

Truly a must see operation going down here! Buy things directly from the local designer next to the machines from the 1960s that he made them on and one guy runs the whole place! Such a unique shop. You haven’t really seen Grand Haven unless you’ve seen Todd’s shop!

I have been a tenden customer for years, and his products are very well made and thoughtfully designed. I especially like his bags and one of a kind pieces for myself, and I’ve bought lots of gifts for friends and family from him as well. This place is top notch.
