Perfect location for Target Center events or First Avenue concerts. Parking was easy in the Hawthorne garage attached by skyway. The front desk team was phenomenal, so kind and friendly. Breakfast was good (waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, breads, pastries, oatmeal, cereals) and the serving area was spacious so it never got crowded. Our king room was very clean, and the bed was soo comfortable. We were celebrating our anniversary and they left us a sweet gift and handwritten card in our room. Highly recommend for a stay in the area!

Loved the convenience of staying here for our visit and attendance of a concert.

We tried using the digital room key feature but it was touch and go. It only worked sometimes and we ended up getting locked in the elevator which resulted in us requesting physical room keys.

Excellent downtown location. It is connected by skywalk to Target Center (Timberwolves), Target Field (Twins) and the Hawthorne Parking Ramp (garage). Our room was big, clean and quiet. (There is a little downtown road noise). Great water pressure in the shower. They have LOTS of security measures in place to make you feel safe. My only concern is that the voucher parking arrangements they have in place are WAY, WAY, WAY too complicated. I wish they had a simple in and out arrangement using a room key like many other downtown properties have.

The hotel itself was great - clean, great customer service, and the free breakfast was good. I was nervous about the parking situation going into my visit to Minneapolis, but the front desk staff were extremely helpful and parking at the Hawthorne ramp turned out to be a breeze!

The room was very clean and well updated. We were there for a Timberwolves game at Target Center, which was a just a short walk through the skywalk. The front desk members were super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was great too!

Parking in the Hawthorne Ramp is first come first serve, reservations are not taken there. Park on the 3rd level if possible, since its closest to the skywalk, but the upper levels are just a quick elevator ride down.

Picture is from our 3rd floor room showing how close Target Center and First Avenue are to the hotel.

We stayed at this property for 3 nights since my team was playing a sport at the Minneapolis Convention Center. The MCC is a short walk outdoors and if it's cold (when we were there), you can use the skywalk (a little longer). Parking was easy in the Hawthorne garage attached by skyway and it was a quick walk to my room on the 2nd floor. The front desk team were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good with the usual options and coffee was readily available any time. My double room was great!!! There was a fridge in the room but not a microwave. Once was available by the front desk so not super-convenient but not a deal-breaker. The ice machine on the second floor was broken and I couldn't access the ice machines on the upper floors so that was a small hassle. Regardless, I highly recommend for a stay in the area!

Although we have stayed there many times, we are treated like royalty. We stay there because the rooms are nice, the parking is nearby, and it's close to the target center, and it's all connected by the skyway. It is a little pricey though, but well worth it to us.

Location is everything. It was cold and wintery when we stayed here but we didn’t have to step foot outside in order to get to the timberwolves game! The skywalk is great. Extra wide so there’s enough room to walk comfortably with the crowd. The breakfast in the morning was great, clean, hot, and much needed after the night before. The staff were helpful and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Good room. Very clean. Plenty of space. Super easy access too and from Ramp A and the skyway. Breakfast was great.

We are Hilton brand loyal and tend to choose the Hampton Inn when we travel. Our latest trip was a 5 day round trip road trip from Virginia to Minneapolis for a football game. We stayed in three different Hampton Inn hotels along the way. This location was amazing. The service we received was exceptional, five star luxury hotel service quality! The facility is clean, fresh, and well kept. Safety and security are a priority so the hotel feels safe and secure. The location is perfect for walking to the many sporting facilities and event venues in downtown. It is obvious this hotel has excellent management, outstanding training, and likely the best hotel staff in Minneapolis. Top notch all the way. Even after we checked out and I realized I had left my computer bag behind, Drae helped me figure out how to get it shipped to my home. Highly recommend!

I am a firm believer in reading reviews. I'm going to do my best to give you a thorough review. There are a few nasty ones on here which I'm not going to lie almost prevented me from staying here. I'm glad it did not! Let's start with parking. Previous reviews make it sound terrible. I chose to pay for parking in the lot right IN FRONT of the hotel. $15 per day. Well worth it. I could see my car from the lobby! Also my car was completely fine when we got to it after 2 nights.
Regarding homeless/vagrant/drug addicts. I saw none. Moving right along. Regarding loudness/music/clubs into the middle of the night. No problems. You are staying downtown. If you want complete quiet stay in the suburbs.
Everything was new in the room, TV/cable had a nice selection, blackout shades were great, bathroom was all new and very nice! Breakfast was ok. I mean it's free people. Got something on your stomach before you headed out for the day. The back courtyard was such a nice place to hang out. We traveled with a group of 16 so it made a great socializing spot. Elevators were fast, not scary and old. I did spend A LOT of time working on my reservation/checking in on the app. Only to finally get it and it say "stop by the desk when you get here". So if you are having technical difficulties with app, do yourself a favor and put your phone away. Wasn't worth it.
Would definitely stay again without a doubt!

I stay here when I'm down for music events at the Dakota Jazz House. Their rooms are nice and clean. The complementary breakfast is very good with a great variety of things to choose from. The hotel has parking across the street and is close to many things in that area.

We attended an even at the Target center. Honestly, this is the best stay I have had with a Hilton hotel since before 2020. I had an extra feeling of security with access to the hotel and elevators had to be by room card or digital key. The room was very nice and clean. All hotel staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was warm, and there was no shortage of any kind of food. I loved that the parking ramps are easy to access and get to. We hardly had to be on the street downtown (except when checking in).
It was seriously one of the best stays and I really felt every cent was well paid for when staying here.

Our experience was amazing! Super clean rooms, free hot breakfast with many choices, and A+ customer service! Will you please let Jacob know what a wonderful job he did! He was polite, pleasant, and even offered to come walk us to the Orpheum Theater through the Skywalk when we got lost! We didn't need that but the offer was appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the room was so quiet. We stayed in another hotel which was higher priced the next evening connected to a large mall, and we preferred our stay here. We will definitely be back!

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that management from this property will see this review!!

We stayed the weekend of April 21, 2023. During check out on April 23rd, we accidentally left a bag of items we had purchased in the lobby after we checked out. It was only after we traveled 2 hours back to WI that we realized that we had left the bag behind. We called your hotel and explained what happened only to discover that the bag was found and was safely secured by your staff! Much to our surprise, the staff member we spoke with provided us with a shipping method and instructions via email. The very next day, our breakable items, hat, etc., were shipped! I received the package a few days later and when I opened the box, I was shocked by the care of the breakable items!! Everything had been precisely wrapped in bubble wrap as well bubble wrap placed in the base of the box as well as on top of all of the items!!!

A heartfelt thank you to the staff member who took the time and effort to secure our items! Your customer service is top notch!
When we are in Minneapolis again, we will certainly stay at your hotel!

I stay at a lot of Hampton Inns, and this is one of my favorites. In ton for ball games at Target Field. Even with two bad legs it was easy enough to walk there and back. The staff was pleasant. The room was in great condition. The paid parking is in the covered lot across the street, connected by a skyway. Once you get the hang of it it's actually pretty convenient. The breakfast area is the nicest one I've ever seen at a Hampton. Very large. Very good.

Wonderful hotel with great access to the Target Center! We went to the Women’s Big Ten Tournament and didn’t have to leave the skywalk! Front desk workers were so helpful! They suggested putting our parking bill on our room bill for 1/2 the price the city would charge! The breakfast was excellent and the workers were so helpful! Great food and always nice and hot! Housekeeping workers were so accommodating and got us exactly what we needed! We will be back next year for the tournament and we will stay again!!
