When you enjoy something a year or so at a time. The Minnesota State Fair has the greatest offerings you could imagine. The food building has some of the top foods at the fair. I enjoy trying a few items every year and work my way around to my favorites. It's very fun.

I mean, pretty much my entire reason for going to the State Fair is for the food. But it's substantially more than just food, if you like to enjoy the scenery while you eat! Check out the agriculture and animal displays, see some giant pumpkins and fancy horses. Take a ride on the sky lift, check out the tractors, trucks, hot tubs, and chainsaw competitions. Then go back to eating. All-you-can-drink milk and a bucket of cookies are a perfect fit together.
I highly suggest before going to go online, look up a list of the best foods (or best new foods if you're a long-time fair goer) and mapping out your eating route beforehand. Cell service is often very bad (at least on Sprint and ATT), so don't count on online maps. Also, don't be shy to use the information booths to help you out!

We got a variety of food. Love mouse trap cheese curds,my friend got cheeseburger fries and a drink. She said was very good.

Awsome like every year. For the first time this year I tried the deep-fried Reese's. Very sweet but awsome. Love the fair, they did a great job with the shows and event going on as well.

The MN State Fair aka "The Great Minnesota Together" has always been a huge family favorite!!!! Great food, entertainment, the rides and all those people!!!!!! We've been going since the 70's and when we go we start early and stay till they close!!!!
