Olive Kitchen

Olive kitchen was delicious. The neighborhood is a little sketch but the restaurant itself was quite spacious inside and very clean. We ordered the chicken and goats, both were very tasty and flavorful. Portion size is pretty large. I recommend eating the dishes the Somali way with a banana on the side.

I just happen to be picking up a load in front of this restaurant and thought I would give it a try. I had the Beef Stew at the Owners recommendation. It was excellent! Service was great and portions are huge so I will even have some for dinner.

Delicious food slight spice very aromatic, great ambience, great tea. Also they cater I believe so yummy.

Great Somalian restaurant.
There was no menu posted but after reading the reviews we went for the goat and rice entree.
We were very happy with our decision.
The goat was flavorful and it feel right off the bone. The rice was perfect with unique flavors. Having been to Minnesota many times I am ashamed to say this was my 1st Somalian restaurant experience, but we will be back!!

Olive Kitchen has the best Somali food in Minnisota. My friends and I ordered rice with goat meat (was’lad) and it tasted amazing. Our host was very friendly and gave us the best customer service. He kept checking in with us to see if we needed anything. The Restaurant was very clean and well decorated. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

It’s delicious food little bit pricey but I guess they got to live up to their name.

Oh men the service that they bring is on point. The food is on point I love how everyone gets treated the same. The owner is very friendly and smart. I have been here 4 times and ever time they seem to exceed my expectations. Don't take my word for it go try it..

I love this is place, it’s amazing and they open just few days ago. I did not believe Somali food could be this good. The rice with goat meat is to die for. They are open now for takeout orders.

This rice was the best rice that I have ever eaten. My wife and I havent been able to stop talking about it. We are military and travel often in and out of country. The quality and amount of food I recieved was uncomparable given the price. I got a T Bone steak for $17!!! If we are ever in Minneapolis again we will for sure be eating here.
