I give the hotel & staff 5 stars. Madison & Eric were great. I however give myself 0 stars. It's a long story but put it this way. If you're using a credit one credit card for your stay. Don't assume on the available credit. Check your balance.

Our experience with the Hotel Indigo Minneapolis Downtown started as a very happenstance occurrence but the stars were aligned and our random stop in this hotel had a great outcome!

We were recently planning our wedding for the fall of 2023 in Minneapolis and had reserved room blocks at two hotels in the Minneapolis area. Our experience with one of the hotels was pleasant but the experience with the other hotel was not running smoothly very early on in the planning process. In just a few short months we were continuously met with changing personnel and unpleasant experiences during a few different tours. On our last of these tours, we walked out of this other hotel (located directly across from the Hotel Indigo Minneapolis) full of defeat and despair and determined we could not expect our guests to stay at an establishment that left such a bad taste in our mouths. We looked up as we walked out of the hotel across the street and immediately noticed this new hotel (The Hotel Indigo) that had JUST opened across the street. We decided we should stop in and see if they had availability for a room block during our wedding weekend.

From the moment we walked into the Hotel Indigo Minneapolis we felt better. I am not even sure there were customers staying at the hotel at this point but there was a very friendly custodian cleaning the already pristine lobby area. The lobby was tastefully decorated and had some great little quirks and historical information about the building (which my family loves). We started talking to the personnel at the front desk (which was fully staffed unlike their competitor across the street) and had a lovely conversation with them. They quickly paged their GM who came down promptly and took us on a full tour of the hotel which was spacious and nicely decorated with some fun throwback quirks. Needless to say, we ended up reserving a room block for our wedding weekend at the Hotel Indigo but the great review doesn’t end there!

At the first event of our wedding weekend, we started hearing high praises from our delighted guests who were staying at the Hotel Indigo. Several of them came up to us, unprompted, to share how much they were enjoying their stay at the hotel. They commented that the staff was attentive, the accommodations were incredibly comfortable, and several of them had enjoyed some fabulous food for breakfast.

Overall, we are immensely grateful to Hotel Indigo Minneapolis for contributing to the magic of our wedding weekend. Without hesitation, we highly recommend this charming haven for anyone seeking a perfect blend of luxury, warmth, and unparalleled service.

We are here Christmas eve and Christmas. There was the same girl working front desk every time we've gone down and needed something. How happy and friendly she is while working the holiday is incredible. Some of the best customer I've received at a hotel.

What a blast of a hotel. My first time staying at this hotel but for sure not my last. I cannot say enough good things about the staff and the service. From Chance and Mary in the bar to Lewis and Hayley at the front desk everyone was extremely personable and kind to talk to.

I was here for the World Softball Series. Lewis was extremely knowledgeable and at one point was wearing a Pride Jersey which made me and all of my teammates feel extremely safe.

I got to strike up a conversation with Hayley and Chance the latter in the bar, extremely nice to talk to both of them about recommendations to go for food.

If I find myself back in Minneapolis this will 100% be my hotel of choice. Great rooms and fantastic staff and just generally a steal of a price considering the quality of service.

Only disappointment was I was asking for a late checkout and a woman at the front desk was extremely standoffish before I had the chance to finish my request she had shut it down. I asked Lewis later and he said we could hold bags there and that was really all I needed. I believe her name was Chantelle. Otherwise great time.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Rooms are very clean, and the bathroom was the best part. Very nice aesthetic and the service was great too. Nice location and parking was $35 USD.

Great place to stay in downtown Minneapolis. Close to lots of the action. We stayed one night, ate at Hell's Kitchen, went to a musical at the Orpheum, bought a couple things at Target - all close to the hotel.

I had a fantastic experience at Hotel Indigo in Minneapolis Downtown! When my friends and I checked in late, Madi, the staff member at the front desk, greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel incredibly welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, reaching out to see if there was anything else she could assist us with. Madi's friendly and hospitable nature truly enhanced our stay after a wonderful day in Minneapolis. Thank you, Madi, for providing exceptional customer service and making our visit memorable. I highly recommend Indigo and their amazing staff!

I am a independent logistical contractor for conferences and one of my clients needed a hotel that would serve their staff and speakers (45 rooms) as well as a place to host their Welcome Dinner pre-conference. Their need was a hotel close to the Convention Center (walkable), accessible, clean, good restaurant on site, well staffed with a 'down to earth" atmosphere. Pre-stay, I worked closely with Adam and Hayley, who were both exceptional, patient and accommodating, especially with many last minute changes to hotel nights needed, (adding or subtracting). When a few minor issues arrived, the staff quickly found resolutions. I also needed "Welcome Bags" given to each guests when they checked in and the front desk staff was amazing at helping. Loved the Nespresso machines and Smith Tea in the rooms, the roomy shower and having a steamer for my clothes as well. For parking, it was very nice to get a QR code for so we could have in and out privileges - after one use, the car was 'recognized' and I no longer had to scan my parking code. When a few minor issues arrived, the staff quickly found resolutions. The final bill was exactly was we had tallied on our end. Thank you to everyone at Hotel Indigo - I highly recommend working with them if you are planning a local event.

The front desks staff are the NICEST! Like all hotel indigo locations, the beds are comfy and clean and the pillows are soft. This location was clean and new. The shower was very nice and it has great water pressure. There was a nespresso machine. The restaurant and bar were closed at the time but they provided complimentary breakfast which was good. Pastries and coffee and cereal and waffle breakfast sandwiches. Their garage wasn’t big enough for my camper but they directed me to a very inexpensive garage 2 blocks away with a 12 foot entrance height. I would stay here again.

Very accommodating, they messaged me to check in on me. Free Nespresso, 1930s feel and faux rotary telephones. Great bar/ restaurant attached. The new room they gave us was within view of St. Olafs Church and the Baker Building so tourist views+1 and Catholic perks+1.

I had a problem with my booking from a third party & Bruna was AMAZING. She was so helpful & really worked with me to get it fixed. Above & beyond. The manager, Kevin was very accommodating also. The whole staff was very nice. The rooms were great! Very clean & great set up. Would absolutely stay again if back to Minneapolis.

Lovely hotel with nice view, great location, kind employees, room was clean & had cool decor choices. Check in & check out were seamless. Parking is in an attached garage, but you're in the heart of downtown, so getting to spots like Target Ceter, Target Field, etc is all available via the light rail and/or a quick walk. Also, the hotel was pet friendly and that was a major selling point for us so we could bring our dog! *Editing to add there is a $100 pet fee to be aware of.

I'd read previous Google reviews that talked about a complimentary breakfast - that wasn't our experience - there is a new restaurant attached to the hotel, as well as some different packaged snack & drink options you can purchase in the lobby - breakfast is available, but not included. Free coffee & tea, though!
