This place was great! I'm really surprised it was so dead inside. I had the egg rolls to start. They were quite good. And the hot chili oil they had sitting out on the table was some of the best, and hottest I've had. Really great to find a place that has great hot chili oil. Had the Hmong bitter soup, and it was amazing. I'd highly recommend. A little bit spicy, had tons of meat and amazing tender tripe. Very herby with a good kick of ginger and lemongrass. Service was good, prices very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Great selection.

Great place for some Thai, Lao and Vietnamese food with more options on Lao cuisine. We had coconut noodle, Thai fried flat noodles, pho and loved them all. The papaya salad was too spicy for medium level but they did warn us. Good portion and reasonably priced. Parking spaces available next to the restaurant and you can enjoy the view of the capitol building from the window.

Their Khao Piak noodle soup is on point. 💯 With extra slices of meat balls in it, it just hit the spot. Their service is excellent as well. Their server comes around refilling your cup of water often. I like that. 👍🏻 A+ to their servers and their kitchen staff for such a outstanding food. Keep up the good work.

Authentic Thai flavor and spice. If you want real authentic Asian spice in your dish you don't want to miss this place. All the dish was soo good....

The food here was excellent! Everything came out fresh and fast with a friendly staff. Definitely will try to hit up again before going back home in Kentucky.

FYI...the jumbo pho is really JUMBO. Compare how big it is next to a regular. 1😆

Not sure what the bad reviews are about. Very friendly staff. They were helpful with working through the menu with my wife who is pregnant and has some food allergies. Restaurant was clean. We all got the peanut Pad Thai which was excellent! Spring rolls and egg rolls were very good as well.

We had coconut soup, bok choi stir fry, Thai sausages, and coconut and mango boba tea. Everything was absolutely delicious, and it was way too much food for two people, so we had to take some home. This restaurant is conveniently close to the Capitol, too!

A nice little place with a nice atmosphere. Service was quick and friendly, the egg rolls were delicious, and the Deluxe Pad Thai with Chicken was very good. Maybe the table could have been a little cleaner, but wasn't a big deal. I would visit here again.

THE CURRY. Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is very nice! I went when it was very quiet and I enjoyed it overall! The service was a bit slow but I don’t blame them as there were only two servers. I really enjoyed it and will go again!

The pho was good. Just wish the service was more friendly. But they were busy as well.

My usual favorite Pho place was full so I went here and it was unexpectedly excellent. The toasted chili paste on the table was perfect and the soup broth was full of flavor. I will be back again soon.

i’m surprised to see so many negative reviews here. it was delicious and i actually appreciated not being bothered by the waiters too much. i see a lot of people saying service was bad but it wasn’t too hard to flag people down and ask for boxes/the tab. food was delicious with big portions! i got the hmong sweet pork and the sauce was super flavorful and it had lots of pork in it. we also had the bok choy and it was very fresh and crunchy. i just moved a block away from king thai and i’ll definitely be going there as often as i can!

Wonderful experience! We were seated & greeted right away. Drinks were refilled often and as expected. Read through the entire menu which was graciously informative regarding the item that contained milk as that is an ingredient I cannot have. I ordered the Pad Pak with extra sprouts mixed in & chicken as the meat. Spectacular service will be back happy to say this was an awesome first time restaurant in a while.

This place is top notch!!! Very large place and good table space from people. I came here with my family to eat I thought I would check it out because I was interested in the menu. The waitress did a absolute good job taking our order and made sure she asked us if we wanted our food mild, medium or spicy. The food was brought out within 5 minutes of ordering. The papaya was delicious, the laab was perfect, the fried rice was perfect the spring rolls were fresh, the roast duck was fresh and tasty and the nam vam was sweet and fresh my kids loved it! I ordered a large pho and couldn't finish it cause I had too many other food the pad thai is the best pad thai I ever had in the twin cities! I would definitely come back again!

Service was great and the food was pretty good too. I really enjoy the location, dinner with a view of the Saint Paul cathedral was a nice way to end the night.

The comment above was a couple years ago, now I take it all back, horrible service and tasteless food. We left hungry after receiving a 60 dollar bill. No wonder the parking is empty when we drove up.
