Gamez & More is an amazing tabletop gaming store! It's a bit hard to find in the strip mall as it's entrance is hidden by a tree. It has an incredibly large selection of games from every genre. I was particularly interested in the board games myself.
The layout of the store was well thought out. The front of the store is all products while the back of the store is play space. The register is in the middle of the store facing the entrance, but has an open air window looking into the backroom play space.
Upon entering I was immediately greeted by the staff. While perusing the merchandise, a friendly member of the staff answered my questions, made suggestions, talked about events and even told me the history of the store. I forget that guy's name, but he is an asset to this store. It is because of him that I returned the following day and to purchase several items.
This is the kind of store I look for in the area I live in. This is by far the best table top gaming store I have found in the Rochester area.

Great place to shop have a awesome selection, including GW products, it’s where I prefer to pickup my warhammer 40K and age of sigmar stuff. Also helps it has a friendly staff.

Great place to get games for the family and enjoy some magic: the gathering

Went last night for my first pre-release and it was a fantastic experience. Fun and relaxed atmosphere, the crowd was a mix of novice to expert and even the top players were helpful and patient. Ive played magic for man years but having just started back up again several years ago I feel like a novice and was a bit hesitant to ever do an in person release. Thanks to a great event put on by a fantastic owner who even participated (sorry for beating you😆) I will certainly partake in future releases here. Great place to play, get all your needs from cards, games and accessories in a friendly environment. This is how an LGS should be!

Gamez & More is hands down the best game store in Rochester, MN. It is a well-stocked store with tons of board and trading card games (TCGs) as well as collectible figures with the best prices in the city. Something that is not usually advertised is their HUGE selection of Magic the Gathering (MtG) singles, alongside lots of random MtG boxes. Not only that, the store also carries a lot of really cool collectibles, including anime figures or ultra-premium TCG boxes from Pokemon or MtG. The owner is a really nice person, and he can get you any game or card even if he doesn't have it in store. And last but not least, their MtG pre-release events are legendary, with plinko prizes given away by the owner including really old and expensive cards and figures. Great atmosphere, great prices, and overall a win-win for players!!

This is great place to come play Magic. Comfortable seating, plenty of room, friendly staff and great community.

This place is not obvious from Broadway, although there is a business sign on the larger sign next to main road. It is just over halfway "back" along the strip of storefronts. We (a Generation X parent tabletop gamer, and two young millennials, or old Gen Z-ers, who play RPGs, all the tabletop games, console games, PC games, etc ) haven't been here more than a couple of times yet, but so far, we really like it.
We felt welcome, and more comfortable in general than we have been at other "gaming" stores in Rochester, immediately upon walking in. There is a wide open gaming area with multiple tables in the "back room", and they have some gaming nights, and have even had a "Regional Championship Qualifying" tournament for Magic the Gathering. Maybe this will pick up as more interest is shown?
The game selection in-store is surprisingly broad for a small independent store, and appeals to a wide range of ages: from 8 or 9 years up to adults. They can order just about anything for you, if they don't have it in stock, but they have a good selection of even the expansion packs for many popular tabletop games. Their prices on card sleeves (for MTG or Pokemon, or whatever) are much more reasonable than other nearby RPG stores that we have found; although they definitely don't have true "penny sleeves" either, as a store or two in Madison Wisconsin do. Overall, this place is great! It looks small-ish from the outside, but strikes one immediately upon entering as "bigger on the inside".

I've been going to this store since 2013 and it has been my main supply for magic the gathering, dnd minis, and anything else my nerdy heart desires. The owner is a fantastic person, very friendly. Highly recommend checking it out.

Friendly knowledgeable staff with a side variety of magic the gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon products. Additionally, they have a large selection of board and tabletop games. They also host a number of game nights along with regularly scheduled magic, Yu-Gi-Oh, and Pokemon nights.

I've always had the best experience playing here. Chad has created a place were people can get their nerd on in style and class. His employees are very supportive and are always right on the dot helping people. He really has created a space worth checking out. His prices are for the people. He delves in more than just magic. He does dnd magic yu-gi-oh pokemon board games digimon and much much more. If y'all haven't checked him out I encourage you to stop by and see that I'm not bluffing. It really is worth a rating greater than 5. Thank you Chad for opening a space for me to get my nerd on.

One of if not THE best card stores I've been too ever. Chad is super friendly and looks out for not only his employees but his patrons as well. I can't wait to go again! Good deals, friendly staff and a very welcoming environment. Go check them out! -Zach

New to the area, and they were extremely helpful and nice. Be careful though, they'll talk you out of your wallet!
