Best experience I've had at a business in a long, long time. I've had a chiropractor on my case for a while to get a nice office chair but I've been priced out of one. Found this place and went in expecting to spend $400 on a particular used office chair (which is still a bargain) and ended up leaving having spent $80 after taxes for the chair I went in intending to buy. That kind of savings just doesn't happen in 2023 and I'm blown away. There is so much cool office stuff here, it's a good thing we have such a small house or I'd probably be back every other week buying stuff I think I need.

Great store! While we were starting out business 4 years ago, we bought some of the stuff at SOS we couldn't beg or borrow. Over the years they've become the supplier for all our furniture from desks to chairs to conference tables - buying both used and new. Over 40 pieces at this point. There's different personalities on the sales staff, but I've never had a bad experience.

Used furniture: if you're new at this, expect websites to have some nice photos of great deals... And in person find it was "just sold yesterday", or a manipulated photo, and on comes the sales pressure for new stuff. SOS has been the only place I've found where the item on the website is the item in the store. If you want used furniture? That's what they sell you.

New furniture: their deal on those cherry tone desks is unbeatable. You'd think Costco would be a good place for a quality/price breakdown on an office chair, but you'd be wrong.

The showroom has an excellent mix of different models of chairs and tables and displays them as they would be used in the real world. A large variety of used furniture is available and on display.

It's the personalized expert help with shopping for furniture that is going to bring me back to the store. The chairs on display have a lot more features than the standard Office Max or Office Depot chairs do, and it can be difficult to figure out what you're looking for in a higher quality chair. Fortunately the sales staff are more than willing to help walk you through the chair features. Which means you'll find something that you're going to be happy to purchase.

First time I’ve been here, lots of options. Waaaaaaaay more than Office Depot or Staples.

Knowledgeable sales staff too that helped me pick out a chair that fit my needs. Talk to Chris… he was amazing. Or anyone else for that matter! 😀

When I found a chair that I loved, the prices were a just a touch higher than what my budget allowed for at the time, but the quality showed. All of the chairs from the other office places felt... well, I wouldn't want to sit on them and work all day long like I do now. While I didn't make a purchase while I was there, I will definitely be going back when I'm ready go pull the trigger.

My back was killing me from my current office chair. Was about to buy a new ergonomic chair for $1000+ until I found out this place sells the same type of chairs gently used for way less. I walked out with a chair that has 3D adjustable armrests, adjustable lumbar support, forward/rear tilt adjustment of the seat, and forward/backward slide on the seat for $110. I couldn't believe it. This place is amazing.

Also I tried out their design service. I was able to email them the dimensions of my home office. They recreated it and helped provide a new printed layout with some suggestions on better placement of my desk (facing the door, at a 90 degree angle to my window to reduce glare). No cost for this service. I'll be back to get a new desk from here too.

SOS Office Furniture had many different furniture options from fancy to bargain. I was looking for a relatively inexpensive office chair for working from home. They had lots of new options and a good selection of used options at reasonable prices. The employees were friendly and knowledgeable, and I found just what I was looking for.

After doing a lot of research on ergonomic chairs, I found an online ad for SOS - They had a large lot of used Steelcase Leap v1's for about $50 less than the next cheapest competitor. This was my first time in the ergonomic chair world and Chris was very helpful in navigating me through the differences in chairs. After trying out other more expensive chairs, I decided the Leap was just too good of a deal. After picking out one of the Leaps, Chris pointed out an issue with that particular chair that I had overlooked. I really appreciate that honesty. He helped me pick the one in the best condition, and then loaded it into my vehicle for me. I've been using the chair for about a week now and I'm very happy with it. I'll definitely be checking their used section in the future.

They have an incredible selection of new and used commercial grade desks and chairs (for corporate office settings....or just a really nice home setup). I wanted to upgrade my WFH setup now that it seems like we'll be remote indefinitely due to Covid. We came here interested in testing out a used Herman Miller Aeron after seeing the online hype, but after chatting with Chris for almost an hour learning about ergonomics, ideal chair angles, and fabric breathability, we were sold on a brand new all-mesh chair from Open Plan for about the same price as the used Herman Miller that had less functions. We learned a ton from Chris and never felt pressured once to buy something we didn't want. He made the experience fun and we left happy. He even showed us that a fully assembled sizable desk chair (plus a second) could fit in my tiny Corolla -- who knew?!

PS - Don't be alarmed if you park in the back lot (free parking!) and enter into a warehouse (which must be where they assemble the chairs). Once you walk in pass the freight elevator, take a sharp left and head downstairs to get to the showroom where the salesmen are.

Found a used chair on Craig's List here at SOS.. Emailed and received an immediate response. Duane was helpful and very knowledgeable. Great prices. Several choices. Coming to SOS first next time I need furniture for my office.

My business partner and I stopped in here Tuesday morning. The unassuming exterior of the building threw us for a loop. We walked in and found the used desks, chairs, filing cabinets, and other items we were looking for. Prices were very competitive and most were lower than other used stores. Selection was huge, and the used items were quality items. Most looked new. What was the best experience of our purchasing was the knowledgeable and friendly salesperson Chris Schmitt. He knew every item on the floor, new or used. He helped us layout desks in each of our offices and made sure everything fit. He got us a quote immediately and didn't have to fumble with item numbers or quantities. He knew them all. We shopped a few other used furniture stores the same day and had nothing close to the same experience. Chris set the bar high!
We picked up a box truck late that afternoon and Chris and the guys loaded us up and carefully packed everything to make sure the ride back was damage free.
I can't say enough good things about SOS Office Furniture. We will be back the next time we need more desks and I know I won't have to waste my time shopping around!

This company got me the most bang for our buck! High quality office furniture with the modern style I was looking for. They even custom made us a huge stand up table that is the centerpiece of our commons area. Duane is very knowledgeable and helped us with a plan, delivery crew was also very polite and helpful. I would recommend them to anyone!

Great place in St. Paul. I love Herman miller office furniture what’s the Apple Watch version of. I also like used furniture is because I figure that office furniture doesn’t already worn out it just gets old and look at since you’re there all the time. I like this place called building is really cool to look at. It’s also part of the most central area could possibly be in between Minneapolis and St. Paul. Jenny help me and she was wonderful she showed me everything they had offer

Once again SOS came thru for our needs, I have been purchasing furniture both new and used for over 14 years. Kudos to the maintenance men, Barlow and Jim, they assisted me with making sure the furniture was placed in the correct space. They were knowledgeable about repairing two items that over time became loose. Please check them out for your ergonomic needs as well.

This place is amazing! So many options, almost hard to choose. I was hoping to pay a little less (cheapest chair is $40) but they have really nice and sturdy chairs and they bring it to your car and load it up for you. Very helpful guys.
