Thinking of you and your family and friends after the terrible earthquake in Morocco- please know all your customers care for you and your family.

Dar Medina is my favorite shopping experience- the beauty of the textiles, purses and housewares overwhelms the senses. If that is not enough, Mostafa greets you as a friend with sincere hospitality- offers Moroccan tea for all who linger and you should. Over the years, I have purchased ornate stamped red purse and wallet purse, vibrant cotton throw, leather sandals with carpet inlay, colorful geometric rug and I generally am not a shopper! All of my purchases I enjoy everyday- even wear sandals in the house in winter. Mostafa has such incredible connections to friends and family who make these beautiful handmade pieces with love and soul in Morocco. Please help the Moroccan artisans who may have been affected by the earthquake and consider stopping by and shopping at Dar Medina. Oh and I live in my cotton (not itchy) hat six months- covers and keeps my ears warm skiing- so cute!

I have a beautiful handcrafted Moroccan rug from Dar Medina. It is a conversation starter because it is one-of-a-kind piece. The rug catches the eye immediately and gives life to our humble kitchen. The owner of Dar Medina is extremely welcoming and will take good care of you. I highly recommend Dar Medina to anyone looking for a statement-making rug. They also have amazing handcrafted leather goods, textiles, and jewelry.

I buy a new wallet from Mostafa every year as part of my new year tradition. I own five or six Dar Medina bags, two rugs, a few throw pillows, and wallets in every color! All of the items are beautifully made, excellent quality and will last a lifetime. Mostafa always recognizes us when we come in, is so genuine and friendly, and is generous with stories and tea. This is one of my FAVORITE places to shop in Minneapolis.

I bought a beautiful woven cotton jacket at Dar Medina recently. It is so beautiful, and perfect for cool spring days. Customer service in the store was at the perfect level...not too little and not too much. I will definitely go back!

I asked for a specific Moroccan blanket that had to be made with my color selections. Mostafa had this done while he was in Morocco, brought it back home, then mailed it to me. It is so beautiful, and I do appreciate him going to all this trouble. This a fabulous store!!!

I wandered into Mostafa's shop not sure what I would find if anything. He was immediately attentive and made sure to explain the Moroccan goods that he sells. He let me feel and try on the satchels and explained the differences between each one. I decided to buy a small satchel made of sheep leather which fits my 13 inch lap top with room for other things. Mostafa is a kind shop keeper and I highly recommend checking his shop out for quality goods!

This store is truly amazing! I bought a pair of men's carpet bagger boots, a leather ottoman, and an exquisite woven cotton blanket! All hand-made by artisans from Morocco.

Awesome detailing, coloring, and textures. These unique & unusual items now lead my guests on a journey to my room!

I love this shop! I bought these orange slippers from Mostafah four years ago and they're finally starting to wear down. I decided I needed to buy another pair because I can't imagine owning any other slipper but these. They're incredibly comfortable and soft, and keep your feet warm during any season. I also got a pair of outdoor slippers for my girlfriend so that she can enjoy them too. Mostafah is also a wonderful person and provided quick service and delivery.

I love Dar Medina! Mostafa has always been so lovely to deal with, and is so willing to help me find what I’m looking for. I have gotten various leather goods and blankets from here, and everything is gorgeous and such high quality. Highly recommend!

I purchased some really beautiful accessories recently. I also saw some bags and a rug that I will definitely be back for. The owner is extremely welcoming and is the main reason why I will continue to go back.

Beautiful leather goods: shoes, boots, slippers, purses and wallets. I also loved the long wool djellaba with impeccable stitching on the neckline. Prices all seemed reasonable and affordable. The man staffing the booth was very personable and willing to answer any questions we had.

Bought a rug from there recently and the experience was awesome. Mostafa is a really nice guy and goes out of his way to show you his stuff, which includes rugs from various tribes (including Beni Ourain and Azilal) and bunch of other goodies. We plan to visit him any time we're in that area.

Mostafa provided unreal customer service!!! I had brought a pouf in Marrakech a few years back and it has ripped. I really didn’t know where I could get it fixed considering it is such a unique item. Mostafa did an incredible job fixing the pouf. I was shocked at how well it looked. Overall a great experiences and an amazing shop. If anyone is ever in Midtown Global, stop by this shop! You won’t be disappointed

The shop is full of beautiful, handmade Moroccan rugs. Mostafa was tremendous, he walked me through all the options and helped me find a great rug for my kitchen.

The website was super easy to navigate, and we love the cactus silk blanket! The quality is amazing, and it was shipped conveniently to our home. Will recommend!
