I'm a senior right now and academically Henry is a very good school, but with the recent behavior issues and incoming freshman , it could use a little work.

Academically excellent. Socially it's a mess.

There's been fights everyday. Squirrels running around the physics room in the spring. Mice and mice poop everywhere. The bathrooms are sometimes completely out of soap and toilet paper and paper towels. There's wasp and bees everywhere during the spring.

Patrick Henry by far has the worst "Zero Tolerance" policy ever made. I've dealt with the fact that they overlook problems and do not deal with them at all. For a matter of fact ever problem ever made was a slap on the wrist. Nothing was being done or the student at fault was being held accountable for what they have done. This school is unjust and have no sense in matter of taking any problems seriously. I feel like this school needs a better role model and Mrs.Anderson one of the Vice Principals of Patrick Henry should step down due to the fact that she does not know her rights and liability for other students. Staffs should bond with students and create a good community within the school. instead she has cut these bonds with me as a former student and the trust of other students. I would say for the Principal Mr.Abdullah to step down as well but he has actually bonded with the students I like for the fact that he has created a better community in our school for the past 2-3 years. He has done a lot for the students and the school and i comprehend him for that and the fact that looks out for the students and make sure that they are in a positive community. The school itself is great, but the options that they make and the choices are not so great at all in general. There are more to say but once this is over with, Patrick Henry will be exposed.

I called for my sister due to important family emergency and the staff did not allow me to reach her. They transferred me to different staffs to talk about letting her out but none of them were able to "reach" her and/or that they arent allow to due to school policy of "not being able to interrupt class even if it's life threatening or any type of family emergancies". I was very upset and demanded them for my sister. I did not want to tell them what the family emergency was because that's confidential. Did the problem resolve? Yes because she had to walk out. Did they ever call back even if I asked them to? No. Poor staffing.
