Audi wouldn’t start. Not many Pisces work in Audi’s. I had it towed there. They kept me updated on repairs needed. Added front license plate, replaced tail light wiring and replaced battery. Car runs great now. I highly recommend them.

Let me first start with Jamie! She was so helpful. She made me feel like my baby (Betty White Audi A4) was in good hands. She was in constant communication about what was going on and even put me in contact with the mechanic who worked on my diagnostic. I didn’t get his name but he walked me through everything he saw and even the photographs they posted.

It was SUPER easy to approve or deny the work I was going to have done. I LOVE the online platform they use. It’s nice to deal with humans who are up-to-date on how commerce is done now. Don’t get me wrong my husband can’t turn on a computer to save his life, but me being savvy GREATLY APPRECIATE it! Thumbs way the F@(£ up 👍🏽.

We just moved from Cali and are so thankful to have found our new mechanics.

I'm definitely sticking with German Auto Works for my car needs. They're top-notch mechanics. My only issue is my own lack of car knowledge.

Take my recent brake work, for instance. I didn't realize new brakes could smell, which led to a bit of panic and an unnecessary follow-up visit. Luckily, everything was fine, and they didn't even charge for the second check. You really can't take chances with brakes!

Great place with knowledgeable staff! I've been directly and indirectly involved in the automotive and motorsports industries for over 3 decades. A lot of shops over sell and under deliver their services and abilities while politely picking your pockets with parts or services that aren't necessarily needed.
However I was pleasantly surprised when I took my vehicle to German Autoworks and they informed me right from the beginning that unfortunately they couldn't PROVIDE their services to my vehicle since it has been modified by the previous owner.
They gave me a source to go too !
Most repair shops would have charged me for a drawn out diagnostic and several hours of shop time, Then tell me they couldn't make the appropriate repairs!
This store didn't do that and it speaks volumes about their integrity and professionalism in the shark tank environment of auto repair business.

Long time customer, German Auto Works is my go-to for my Mercedes vehicles. They are always friendly, professional, detailed, timely and accommodating. Pricing is fair and I would highly recommend.

Hunter, the owner, and the team at German Autoworks went above and beyond to take care of us. From complicated repairs, to purchasing a vehicle, we have been so happy with their work. When I say above and beyond, I mean it!!

We recently purchased a vehicle from them and instead of us having to go into the shop to do all the paperwork, Hunter delivered the vehicle to us at 7pm and we did all the paperwork from the comfort of our home in about 15 minutes. The biggest thing, they care about the satisfaction of their customers. That can be rare these days. I 100% recommend German Autoworks for all your repair and/or purchase needs.

I brought it in car for diagnostics, they did a good job diagnosing it. They suggested 2500 worth of work to fix the car, I ended hp diy-ing the work myself and got it done under 1/10 that, but that is the price you pay for expertise. Awesome people to work with. Highly respectful. Very efficient. I will bring my cars back to them to get work done that i cannot do or get diagnostics done. Pretty happy with my experience and would definitely recommend.

For context. I brought in an A4, they were able to accommodate me within a short time (a week or so), they spent about half a day for diagnostics and they charged me around 200.

Always a great experience at a competitive price. Friendly, professional customer service. Excellent communication. Suggestion: please allow electronic bill pay (i.e. Zelle, etc.) so we can enjoy your cash discount.

It’s not often that I am so moved by service excellence that I actually take the time to write about it. The team at German Auto Works makes doing so my pleasure.

I have an ‘87 BMW that had sat in my unheated garage for more than 10 years. It needed a top-to-bottom inspection, diagnosis, and resurrection of sorts to get it street worthy and running like a top at an affordable price. After researching my options at several businesses, an initial discussion with co-owner Hunter made me comfortable enough to entrust my “baby” to the German Auto Works team.

From the get-go, I was impressed by the superb, daily communication I received from Rich regarding the diagnostics, status, and costs associated with my project. Throughout the process, Rich took the time to explain things in a manner my non-Motörhead brain could understand. Jamie and Jax were similarly helpful in keeping me up to date as things progressed. Due in no small part to the fine technicians who applied their expertise and workmanship to my vehicle, I am happy to report that it runs like a charm and takes me back in time when I take it for a spin.

My interactions with the fine people at German Auto Works was—start to finish—nothing short of exceptional and, for this, I am most grateful.

I took my VW to get a 2nd opinion and the staff German Autoworks were the best. They diagnosed my vehicle and informed me which repairs were actually needed. The repairs were done quickly and at a great price! This is a great autoshop.

I was impressed with the way Reese explained the repairs that needed to be done on my car. He was clear and concise, and he took the time to answer all of my questions. The team was very friendly and welcoming. They made me feel comfortable and at ease, even though I was bringing my car in for repairs. The work was done quickly and efficiently. I didn't have to wait long to get my car back. I would definitely recommend this team to anyone who needs repairs on their Audi.

Wow. I am so impressed with my experience here. It was the least ‘repair shop’ feeling I’ve ever had. Everyone I spoke with from check in to check out was nice, sincere, and honest. They took time answering my questions, I never felt rushed. Zero push from them to add services beyond what I came for. Prices were fair. I’m selling my car, but am tempted to buy another German car so I can keep coming here. Strongly recommended.

My first choice for servicing my car in the Twin Cities. I was just back two weeks ago and they now have loaner vehicles, which is one thing that pushed me to a dealership in the past. Also, I scheduled my service with them the week before, so all the parts were ready to go. I thought they would have the car for 2 or 3 days - instead I got it back the same day. Great service and people.

I can’t say enough good things about this business. I recently had transmission issues on my Audi Allroad. The Audi dealer quoted me between $7000-$9000 to complete the repairs. I decided to get a second opinion at German Auto Works based on previous positive experiences there. They identified two potential issues, one relatively minor in cost and the other much more expensive. I went forward with the work at GAW and I’m very happy I did. They completed the less expensive repairs first and determined that the issue appeared to be resolved. Instead of completing the additional, more expensive repair, they contacted me to let me know that the initial work had addressed the problem. They even had me come to the shop to drive the car with the owner to confirm that the car was driving as expected. Based on this experience I have full trust and confidence in GAW. They could have completed all of the repairs (including the more expensive repairs that were ultimately not needed) and I would have been none the wiser. Instead, they completed only the necessary repairs and then went out of their way to confirm that the issue was resolved with me directly. This is how you build customer trust and loyalty.

This was my first experience with German Auto Works and it was terrific.
It was the best service, from dropping off my car, to the estimate that was texted over for me, to the fast service work. I could not ask for better service.

Absolutely great service, friendly/helpful staff, very knowledgeable. I took a car here to get inspected before buying. I called back a few times throughout the day to ask them questions about the car and for advice as I didn’t want the dealership I was at to try to swindle me. They were absolutely helpful and honest. I highly recommend!
