The Blue Barn

Great place to visit at the MN State Fair.

You have to try the French Toast bites and Blueberry Basil Lemonade....it was very refreshing without being overly sweet.

We were at the fair early and stopped for breakfast.

I found a new "go-to" spot at the MN State Fair.

Usually our first stop each year at the fair. French Toast bites and Nashville Hot Chicken never disappoint.

Happy to see no line! Super fast friendly service. Loved the chimichurri sauce with the corn and blue cheese fritters. Enjoyed everything we tried!

This stand had great french toast with pop rocks. The lines went fast. The service was good. I would come here again when visiting the fair.

Usually our first stop of the day when we enter the MN State Fair. Over the years Blue Barn has had some very interesting (and very good!) items. The French Toast Bites (topped with whipped cream, a berry sauce, and pop rocks!), Nashville Hot Chicken on-a-stick, and Breakfast Gnocchi being previous favorites.

This year, our party tried two orders of this year's new item, the Hot Honey Cheese Sticks, and these missed the mark. Both orders were served over cooked, and both lacked flavor. These will be a pass if they remain on the menu for 2024.

Still a great place to grab a beverage and a bite to eat, I'd just suggest something else on the menu.
