Betsey is so talented! I had my makeup (with lashes) done by her for the first time yesterday for a wedding and I absolutely loved the result! She did an amazing job with my makeup and I received compliments all night long. She is so personable and is really passionate about her work. I'm excited to book a future service and will be recommending Luminous Beauty to all my friends and family.

Betsy was amazing. I haven’t been feeling great about my looks lately. I am 67 years old. She made me look like I was 20 again. My eyes stood out but didn’t look like I had make up on. My skin looked flawless. I will be coming back because I want to look good for my class reunion that is coming up. What a shot in the arm. Thank you Betsy.

Betsey and her team were absolutely amazing!!! My wedding was in September 2022 and I had a large wedding party so I needed 10+ hairs and makeups done before 12p. My four friends and I got ready at the Luminous Studio before my Van Dusen Mansion wedding. The studio was spacious, and the folks at Luminous were kind and authentic. It felt like I was working with people who put their heart into making their clients feel comfortable and heard. Our team at Availed Wedding and Event Planning worked with Betsey's team on a wedding this past weekend. They did such great work! The bride and her attendants looked fabulous all day long. When we turned all the lights on at 12:30 AM, they still had perfect makeup! Highly recommend!

I get my massages and back facials done with Lauren and she is super sweet and fun to talk too. She is also communicative when it comes to telling me what she’s doing and setting up appointments! I love how I feel after my appointments with her, I definitely recommend back facials with her since she can target a lot of your wants and needs.

We were pretty late planning our wedding events, meaning I reached out to Betsey to ask about her availability less than a month in advance. I chose Luminous Beauty because of the great reviews, and I am *so* glad that I did. A few highlights/aspects that really stood out to me:
- Betsey able to sneak me in for day-of hair and makeup and for a trial despite being solidly booked, something that others I'd reached out to weren't able to. - Betsey herself did my makeup, while Lacey did my hair. Both are incredible at what they do: I've been a bridesmaid in a few weddings before, and those experiences were nothing compared to the service/quality of hair and makeup that I received here - I was fairly nervous/stressed because of everything going on that day, but I can say without a doubt that the 1-2 hours I spent with Betsey and Lacey were instrumental in helping me to relax and actually enjoy the experience To be honest, I could not have asked for a better experience, and I would absolutely recommend Luminous Beauty to anyone.

Betsey and her team are AMAZING!! I have struggled with skin issues the last few years and after a few months of PCA peels with Betsey, my skin has completely cleared up. Its insane how many things I've tried (medical + estheticians) and FINALLY I have clear skin - it is truly life changing, I have gotten so many compliments. Also, Lauren is an incredible masseuse. I had severe neck pain for weeks and in a single session I have complete mobility of my neck. I have gotten several massages in Minneapolis and nothing compares. Luminous is a one stop shop, so glad I found them!

My law firm hired Luminous Beauty to do the hair and makeup for our staff for our new headshots. From the outset, Betsey was very prompt in getting everything scheduled and answering my questions about her services. Betsey, Audra, and Alice did our hair and makeup and everything turned out beautifully. The team was efficient and completed all of their work in a timely fashion so we could make it to the photo shoot on schedule. They all were incredibly talented artists. We appreciated their professionalism and how they worked in a clean and sanitary fashion. They were such a fun group of women to work with and I would highly recommend the services of Luminous Beauty to anyone.

For my wedding party, we all had different hair and different makeup, ranging from natural to goth. Betsey and her team were more than accommodating. She gave her professional opinions when needed while also providing a very friendly atmosphere. She and her team were very kind and flexible while also very professional and versatile. I would suggest Luminous Beauty to anyone. It is on the pricey side for 9 hair and makeup bridesmaids and myself, but it was so worth it.

We hired Luminous Beauty to do hair and makeup for our wedding last week and Betsey and her team were the best! They listened to what everyone in our party wanted but also made everyone feel so comfortable and encouraged trying something a little new.
