Johnny Cake Ridge Park East

This is an amazing facility.. I admit though I seldom use the park.. But for 18 of the last 20 years I have attended the 4th of July Fireworks there.. I have not seen others to make a fair comparison but I choose to believe the Fireworks here are the best around.. I have gone to the same spot each year.. Close enough to angel the gun powder and feel the Booms.. We meet wonderful people and make me friends every year.. It makes a wonderful conclusion to our 4th of July celebration..

You can park in the parking lot. You can walk along the paths. You can go swing. You can use the seesaw. There's a jungle gym. You can watch both games between amateur teams. You can go to the bathroom in the public restroom. Sometimes the concession stands open so you could buy a soda and hot dog or burger if they have them.

I went there for one of my brothers baseball games, the fields were nice, and the grounds were clean. Overall it was a good experience

We come here every 4th of July. Our friends' parents live in the neighborhood and we walk to the park for the carnival. Everyone is so friendly, respectful of each other's personal space and calm...even during a crowded event. The fireworks they set off are also great. We love this park and place.

Love this place. I have played dozens of games on these fields and they are some of the best in the state. Very well maintained.

Great Place for People Watching and Fireworks every 4th of JULY

Great park for the kids, and if they get sick of this playground, there;s another park right across the road. The aquatic center (water park) is also in sight, lost of fields for soccer and baseball/softball, and outdoor rinks in the winter. The Park West also has some skateboard ramps.

Absolutely beautiful set up for kids baseball / softball. Spacious, clean, easy access to parking, etc etc. I truly enjoy spending weekends here watching tournaments. Great place.

Enjoyed a great evening with the carnival and fireworks. Lots of great space for the kids to run and play. This was our 5th year in the same spot and we're looking forward to many more.

Nice park. Good ball fields and good sand Volleyball courts, along with a pavilion for picnics. Nice playground.

It is a big park - suggest using the map signs in the parking lot first time you come. Fields and courts are well groomed - have enjoyed sand volleyball and kickball here!

Good park area for kids to play. Paths to walk, run, or ride. Nice clean maintained softball and soccer fields.

Ball fields, nice little playground, has a concession stand for summer events, good place for a tournament.

visited there for x gfs funeral for her dad sucked honestly the funeral not the place and so does my ex..but none the less 5 star swany strikes again

Fireworks were an A+ on July 4th. A bit busy. But what do you expect?
