Ben’s bar is a fantastic little neighborhood bar! I love it! I went in last night just to have one beer and then go home. I started talking with a nice guy by the name of Dave. I had never met him before. He bought me a shot and then left before I could repay the favor. The draft beers are $3 each and even cheaper during ball games. The owners stopped by the bar and are friendly people also. Great place but they don’t serve food at this time.

Love Ben’s! My favorite place in Elizabeth!! take an Uber after work, the peeps are friendly, the $$$ are fair. The Bartenders are friendly and enjoyable to speak with. They don’t judge because I’m from Bmore too!!

Quaint and homey feel local bar. Stopped in waiting to catch a flight outta Newark aiport. Friendly bartender and locals. Strong drinks. Tv's, jukebox, and darts available. Overall pleasant visit and if I'm ever back in the area, will return! Please note: it is a cash only bar.

Bens Bar is that place you go to when all you need is a good ice cold beer and to catch up with an old friend and other good company. Its just a comfortable clean spot where u can be yourself. Juke box. Dart game. Pool table. Arcade box. Pitchers of ice cold beer for days! Wine. Mixed drinks. Parking. U can order food in from outside local menus. Bartenders are cool. That’s the way uh huh uh huh I like it! Bens bar is a Jersey Gem! My hubs and I stopped in for a Cherry Blossom strongbow while we waited for our baggage to arrive at Newark. Going 49 years strong, the staff and patrons are friendly, and there is a little tiny buck on the wall! There were great jams such as dancing queen, the ‘that’s the way I like it’ song, even a few lil Jon songs in the mix. We highly recommend for anyone flying into Newark as a great place to relax and get a feel for the Jersey life.

This is, hands down, one of the coolest bars I have ever been to. You can take your entire family (of legal drinking age) to this place! The old man behind the bar, I believe his name is Pete, is one of the most genuine and kindest men I have ever met and had the blessing of, both: meeting, AND spending any amount of time with. 10/10.. no.. 20/10!! *WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND* >> ONE MILLIOM PERCENT WORTH YOUR WHILE.
