Incredibly nice local business with beautiful patterns! The store had several customers when I walked in, but they made time to say hi and advise me on my project. Huge colorful quilts hung on the wall and there was a beautiful selection of cotton fabrics. Sadly they didn't have the type of fabric I was looking for, but the employee I spoke to advised me a couple of other businesses to try, both local and chain stores. Even though they didn't have my specific request, I got a great vibe from this place. I suggest giving it a try if you need cute patterned cotton type fabric, especially for quilting!

The family that runs this store is absolutely enchanting. You can tell they love what the do and strive to make your shopping experience delightful. I might not have made a purchase if they hadn't been so friendly. As for the store itself... it was very nice. They carry good quality fabrics, tools, patterns. If I'm in the area again, I'll be sure to go here again.

My experience with Sew Jersey was TERRIFIC! Thanks to Katherine and Greg! I had an old sewing machine that had been in my garage for 36 years and was in awful condition, but with fingers crossed, I cleaned it up and took it to the Paramus store. Katherine was fantastic, listening to my hopes while giving me realistic information about what to expect. Then I saw a perfect machine for sale that Greg had restored. Not knowing what to do, Katherine made it possible for me to sleep on it and talk to my sister. The next day, I went back to the store where I got the chance to talk to Greg as he analyzed my machine. In the end, the repairs were too extensive, but I'm the proud owner of the machine he restored that I saw the previous day. Thanks to Katherine and Greg, I was able to make an informed decision and one that will serve me well. I have now recommended the store to my sister and a good friend. They will not be disappointed! Thank you from a very happy and loyal new customer!

They repaired and tuned up my 25 year old Viking sewing machine and now it works like new! So happy they did the repairs on the premises. I was originally told by an authorized Viking dealer at Joann fabrics that they would have to ship it out of state! My machine was ready in less than a week. Thanks, Sew Jersey!

Brought my first quilt to Sew Jersey to be sent out for quilting last month. Not only did I receive it back earlier than expected, but the quilting is perfect, makes my quilt look like a masterpiece. I am very, very satisfied with their service! Love shopping here as well, selection of fabrics is insane and there are plenty of instructions, books and magazines with great info to pick from as well. Staff is totally knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Not to be missed if you know your way around a sewing machine.

I visited Sew Jersey today for the first time to drop off a new piece to be quilted and I have nothing but good things to say. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. From what I could see, they carried a nice selection of machines and their fabrics were gorgeous. I have no doubt that they will do a wonderful job on my piece.

I love the new store/space and have always found the staff to be helpful and friendly. Jackie has helped me numerous times find just the right fabric for a quilt. I also get my machine serviced by them and always runs great afterward. Can't recommend them highly enough!

Sew Jersey in East Hanover makes it so easy to sew in Jersey. They were very very helpful while I researched and subsequently purchased my dream sewing machine, making a number of visits while I made up my mind. On every visit, either Jackie or one of her associates patiently answered my questions and offered me helpful advice.
I am so glad I took advantage of their free one-on-one tutorial for the machine I purchased, and using it at home has been easy with their helpful tools and advice. I highly recommend Sew Jersey, and can't wait to visit their new location!

I went in with some fabric that I bought on-line from another store, and the staff we happy to help me find something to coordinate. None of the solids - which is what I had in mind - were the right match. However, the person helping me found a couple of options that will go beautifully with the prints I chose. As always, staff are very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

I cant say enough wonderful things about Sew Jersey! Jackie is wonderful, knowledgeable and honestly one of the nicest people I have had the pleasure to meet. I was having trouble with a brother embroidery machine and Jackie sat very patiently with me and helped me to figure out the issue. From tech support to supplies to just a nice place to meet like minded people Sew Jersey is amazing!!! I would tell anyone who wants to start sewing/quilting/embroidery to check them out!!! You wont be disappointed.

I love having a fabric store a few towns away that is just so much better than Joanns or Hobby Lobby. The selection is great, and prices are very reasonable. Can't wait until they have knit fabric too!
