Top Teir all the way. In my experiences Forever & Always consistent with the best specialty Pizza options around .
Their White slice is buttery and simply perfection ; The buffalo slice never disappoints and truly the only pizzeria that’s great from the first bite down to the crust.
Sadly I no longer live in Jersey but when I do return this is the only place to go.

I challenge anyone to say Village Trattoria isn’t the best Pizza around .

I've been coming here for years and it's still incredible. Village Trat was doing specialty slices many years before it even became a thing. The pizza is absolutely incredible, freshly made, and you can tell there is a lot of care in the food. I've brought people who are used to Brooklyn style pizza from living there & they love the pizza here. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff is very caring and provide great service.

Go to standard for easy, friendly, informal standard Italian food. Sautéed clams appetizer is unexpected and very good.

Home of the best specialty slices in NJ

The plain slice is just ok, but why would you ever order it with so many delightful specialty slices? The buffalo chicken slice is the best I've ever had. Pasta dishes and salads are also solid and very well priced. Their catering is always a hit.

Came here for the first time today, as I work 5 mins from here.. BEST CHICKEN AND PEPPER PIZZA IVE HAD 😍. Fresh and delicious! Definitely coming back!

normally hate ordering any kind of pasta from anywhere cause it is usually watery and flavorless. This was better than i have had in a long time found a new favorite place to order from. Wish i could give more than 5 stars

Best pizza in the area, Buffalo chicken slice is a must try. All different types of gourmet slices available and I have been disappointed yet! Would highly recommend.

the go to place in maplewood for everyday dining. so many different pizzas to pick from. the salads are great. you almost forget that their is a whole fantastic menu to pick from. service is always sweet. love the village tratt!

Consistently making Italian comfort food at comfortable prices. There is a full menu with a daily rotating special board equally as large. The entrees can easily feed two people. For a slice, nothing beats it. There are more topping than you'd every think of with at least a dozen ready at all times. Try the chicken parmigiana or cheesesteak; pizza or sandwich.

The Ralphie is the best pizza on the menu. If you like a thick flavorful crust and hearty toppings, it's a strong suggestion. It takes an hour to make a pie though, so plan ahead!
