Woulibam Restaurant - Fine Haitian & Caribbean Cuisine

My husband and I dined in here for lunch and wow! The food was amazing, truly. The service was quick and pleasant. The portion size was so large, that we were able to pack what we didn’t eat to go and have it for dinner that evening and be as full as we were in the restaurant when we couldn’t finish our food 😂. That salad was so delicious 🤤 the decor is simple, but really nice. I love the photographs and art on the walls and the the tan mats the food is served on contrasted with the white tablecloths. I also love the exposed wooden beams in the ceiling. It’s a nice restaurant, highly recommend checking it out!

We went for my mother in laws birthday and they did a great job. The food was delicious. It was a spicy and I have cut back on spice but it didn’t bother me at all. I had the snapper and lambi with black rice & (conch) appetizer and it was the best Haitian food I have had in a while. Other family enjoyed the oxtails and the legume. Service felt very homey and comfortable like your mom was feeding you. We will definitely return.

We dined here for my mom’s birthday dinner last night. The restaurant space was cozy and quaint. It was in a nice area of Maplewood. Upon entering, we were greeted by the host who seated us quickly.
Now, there is a 20-30 minute wait for the food, but that is because all food is cooked FRESH. As you can see, the portions are HUGE and the food tasted absolutely HEAVENLY.
If you’re interested in amazing Haitian cuisine, then you will not be disappointed.

Must try! Order the Cajun Salmon with white rice and sauce pwa. I love this meal I get this every time. It’s funny because my first time trying salmon was from this restaurant. The dinner is $25 enough food to share with two people. As you can see in my pictures I’m not sharing and it’s really good.

I barely ever give reviews but I had to give a review on this restaurant. I am a truck driver that eats at restaurant all of this country and I got to say this is the best food I've had in America hands down. Wish I could take the chef with me 😋♥

Incredibly flavorful authentic Haitian cuisine. Every bite warmed my soul and reminded me of home. I highly recommend the legume (I indulged in the seafood legume) and the Tasso goat. So tasty and quite fulfilling. I enjoyed Woulibam.

My experience here has been amazing thus far. I've ordered takeout before due to a party being held at the restaurant and yesterday I got the chance to dine-in for the first time.

For all my Haitians, sak pase, my Haitian mother approved. And it wasn't that polite approval, she was genuinely smiling & dancing in her seat the entire time.

If you want to enjoy Caribbean food in an ambient atmosphere, pay Woulibam a visit. The intricate decor, ambient music, and flavor-packed food will not disappoint.👌🏾🤙🏾

Best Haitian food in town. If I could give them 100 starts, I would. They’re excellent and very welcoming. They make you feel like family. And did I mention their fire food?! I will most definitely recommend this place to many and go back myself for more. 🥰💕👏🏾

The food was delicious! Atmosphere is a vibe. Oxtail, legume, snapper, conch and the empanadas were amazing. I will definitely be back!
