Coppermill Steakhouse & Lounge

Cold and fresh Pal's beer on tap, salad was crisp and fresh and the dressing was delicious, and then the 10oz prime rib and loaded baked potato was out of this world!! Ordered as medium rare, and it was absolutely perfect! Finished off the meal with creme brulee for dessert, and it did not disappoint!! Excellent experience!!

In town for the night and wanted some good Nebraska beef … Coppermill was near our hotel, so gave it a shot. Service was steakhouse professional and informative without being stuffy, very friendly and fun, especially Chloe.
My ribeye was like butter and cooked to perfection; the mashed were best in a long time. Her Big Red streak also cooked perfectly with a zingy sauce. Creamy take on brussels with almonds added, new and tasty for us. Rye old-fashioned was top-shelf.
Fancy food in a very nice place without any pretension. But be warned…Saturday’s buffet brings in crowds, circling the crab legs like seagulls, so if you’re going buffet, don’t delay.

I really liked this restaurant after 12 hours of driving. Check out the pics... their food is incredible!!! I ordered the KC strip and half baked snickerdoodle coodle with brown sugar ice cream.

Had dinner while out of town for work. Very friendly staff from the hostess to the bar tender top notch staff. Ordered the spinach artichoke dip very well made and chip seasoning was amazing! Side salad was fresh and delicious. Also ordered the pesto with chicken very very well done amazing flavor and great presentation.Highly recommend trying this restaurant.

We were incredibly impressed with the seafood and prime rib all you can eat buffet last night! Food was perfect Prime rib, Alaskan King Crab, fresh oysters, lobster, stuffed mushrooms, Spinach Dip with fresh chips, delicious brussel sprouts and Asparagus, extra large shrimp cocktail fresh baked rolls chocolate covered strawberries carrot cake, I'm sure I'm forgetting things. It was all perfectly presented and prepared. And the waiter was really good, he kept a close eye on us and all the busy tables around us. We were very impressed. The Sasquatch IPA was delicious too. We will be back it was worth the rather expensive prices.

Went with my wife recently to try it for the first time and everything was great. Food is delicious and the guy who served us was very friendly. Unfortunately we couldn't try the dessert because we were too full. The Moscow Mule was delicious and be sure to try the cheese bread as a starter.

The Coppermill just refreshed its restaurant & menu (Jan 2024). Excellent updates! Our dinner last night was delicious. The interior updates give the whole space an elevated feel and most memorable was our excellent service!

Amazing menu & service! Food and drink menu are second to none. Kids menu is amazing too.

What a great experience! Our server Trey was excellent. Food was superb. Bathrooms were very clean and even provided toiletries such as mouthwash to freshen up. I had the crackpot bowl which was delicious along with the Brussels. I suggest getting the pazookie for dessert, the ice cream was Devine.

All of our meal was excellent - salad, bread, pasta and steak! Our server, Alex, was incredible - great knowledge, suggestions and service. This is our “go to” place when visit Kearney.

The food is amazing here. Best steaks in Kearney. The seafood is incredible. The atmosphere is exquisite. All around wonderful dining experience. Can’t go wrong here.

Passing through on our way back to NC. First we stopped at the pizza place across the way. Zero service after 13 mins of sitting. We came here and service was top notch.. I got the farmers bowl & he got the crockpot bowl. They were huge portions as you can see in the photos! Super delicious. They also have a delicious cinnamon ice cream that goes on their pizookie. It’s so freaking good. Taste just like Cinnamon Toast Crunch milk. Glad we had the mishap at old Chicago pizza, or we wouldn’t have come here. Thanks Coppermill.

Alex is the backbone of this establishment. That dude offered the best service we have ever experienced. The food was immaculate, but the service was even better. Before my niece and nephew could finish their first round of Shirley temples (extra cherries, obvi) this dude had two in the chamber. A true sport.Amd the bonus scoop of ice cream was a real og move.
They haven't stopped talking about it.

Got the recommendation from a local about the Coppermill being a great place for a steak. Took the chance and had to tell the girlfriend that we can't come here everyday to eat. She said that I may choose not to come here everyday, but she is going to!
The staff did a great job from start to finish. On the recommendation of the waitress, ordered the Candle Drippings appetizer. Fat kid happiness!!
Girlfriend got the rack of lamb and I got the KC Strip steak. Both were cooked too perfection. Coming from a bigger city that has steakhouses that claim to be Texas style... well... Texas needs to get to McCook, NE to learn how to cook and season a steak properly!

Absolutely incredible experience!
We came in at 10:05pm after a long day of driving. The kitchen closes at 10 am, but they made an exception and let us order!
The kitchen staff was our saviour tonight!

I had an excellent prime rib here! We were in town for baseball and showed up 10 minutes before close. We offered to leave several times but they insisted we stay. Both the service and the food were outstanding, 5 stars all day long.

We eat at Coppermill every time we pass through Kearney. Although we have always enjoyed dining here this experience exceeded our expectations. This was in large part due to our server, Jen. She went out of her way to make sure that we had the best meal ever. She talked to us in depth about the menu and her suggestions were top notch. Her wine suggestion made us thankful we had ordered a bottle instead of just a glass. She knew the menu well and did not steer us wrong. Our food was delicious and the service was impeccable. We will continue to eat here in the future and will keep our fingers crossed that Jen is working when we do. Thank you for a memorable and delicious dining experience.

Great all the way around . We waited one day to late to order the dry aged ribeye but the regular one did not disappoint. And the tallow candle appetizer was delicious.

Fantastic service and amazing food. Definitely pricy but worth the cost. Drinks were done well and enjoyable

Had a fantastic dinner tonight while dining at the bar. I ordered the KC Strip with Brussels Sprouts. Steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the Brussel Sprouts were delicious. My bartender/server was excellent and I highly recommend this restaurant.

Isaiah was the best server of all time. Like that kid is the goat when it comes to serving high quality steaks.
