Definitely worth the small drive off the interstate! I had a Honey Bunny latte and a scone. My husband had a sugar free chai blended and a breakfast burrito. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent.

Perfectly made up coffe/smoothie/ ice cream Caboose. Outdoor swings are nice.
Raildoad buffs can get their happy on.

Java junction is my favorite coffee shop in the world. You will not regret coming here. They have tons of variety and accommodate celiac customers.

Good morning, Kearney Nebraska! Let me just say that you have a hidden gem of a coffee shop in your just-east-of-center heart! I had to drive a bit to get there but it was worth every quarter mile even if I'd have had to crawl it!

What a delightful little oasis in a mostly aggro-industrial area. As I pulled into the drive-through lane, I had to proceed very slowly and very cautiously so as not to knock into anything or knock anything down as I gawked at the beautiful decorations and a zillion tiny details that go into the making of this coffee oasis. A delight for the eyes before you even sip the joe.

After my unfortunate experience yesterday morning, I was just hoping for good coffee before we hit the road, wheels pointed west. What I found was a sweet barista who was friendly and chatty, but not too much. When I asked about a flat white, she wasn't 100% sure so I explained that I just wanted two shots with about 4 - 6 oz of half and half. Of course she could make that.

Of course she could. Because there's no special knowledge required...just a willing heart.

It always makes my blood boil when I hear that a coffee show "can't" (read: won't) make a drink that literally has two ingredients in it. Ingredients that are easily at hand.

But I digress.

We waited a couple of moments while she made our drinks, a hot chocolate as well. Yes, whip cream, thank you!

As we drove away, beginning our journey home, we were buoyed by the deliciousness in our cups. If anything, the flat white was stronger than it had to be but it was so good that I just sipped and enjoyed it.

We found this little gem in our way to Iowa and what a find it was! The vast variety of flavors and food and drinks! The smallest complaint I have is that my latte had too much foam, but the drink was excellent! If we ever head back in that direction, I'll be sure to stop there again.

Huge selection of flavors and types of drinks! I love their Italian cream sodas in particular. One thing that made me smile was that they have a ton of sugar free options for syrup, which can be hard to find at chain coffee places! Will be coming back asap.

The drink was amazing 🤩 and the staff member was sweet and very cheerful. The taste of the "Pot Of Gold" 24 oz. Iced With 3 shots of espresso was very tasty, with a rich flavor, yet slightly bitter at the end. I enjoyed it completely. They have so many different kinds of coffee, smoothies, and ice cream combinations, it's definitely worth checking out.

Java Junction is a hidden gem. Our family loves to stop by for a treat. The menu offers something great for everyone at affordable prices. Our kids love to see what the Dole Whip Flavor of the week is—it’s alway a fun surprise. Thank you for serving your community so well.

Amazing drive thru coffee!! Baristas were quick, clean, and friendly!

Such a cute coffee shop with friendly staff. The drinks, ice cream, and dole whip are so tasty, and it is a such a great value compared to other coffee and ice cream places. This is my go-to stop for coffee drinks and frozen treats! It's so fun to relax on the swings outside when the weather is nice.

Love this place, met the owner a few times, coffee is always good. They are the only place in town that sales the dole whip ice cream which is great!

My favorite place to have caffeine. They even have dole whip ice cream in various flavors! Beautiful little trolley with lots of wonderful things keep your attention if you happen to be waiting in line. A myriad of flavors and very friendly customer service. Highly recommended!

My most favorite place to get coffee!!

Went here for the first time today! Super quick service, friendly staff, and great drinks! Not to mention how adorable it is, omg. Only note is if you want your drinks to taste more like coffee than the yummy add-ins, ask for an extra shot of espresso- but it’s delicious as is! Loved it, thank you!

I love all their fun drink flavor combinations - especially the seasonal ones! The baristas are always friendly. It's a fun place to go for ice cream and sit on the little patio while watching the traffic go by.

This place Still has the best coffee in Nebraska! I haven’t been here since they moved to Kearney, but as luck would have it we finally stopped there long enough (and far enough from bedtime) to justify the detour. Java Junction had only gotten better. Their patio is adorable. The breakfast food options have expanded (more than just oatmeal) and they have smoothies in every shape and size. Of course the award-winning coffee selection is still available, but not even the mochas are not so sweet that you go into a sugar coma. If you’re a tea drinker, they have sweet and spicy chai. And if you have time to sit and sip, there is a rail yard corn depot across the road to keep you entertained. (They over flowed the car when we were there) 4 coffees for $20... winning!

Real coffee in the middle of seemingly-nowhere. It's a drive-thru. It takes a while to get through the line because they are preparing hot snacks too for each carload.
