Lotus Oriental Cuisine

As a frequent customer of this eatery, I urge everyone to try them at least once. They have all the usual fare, and it's done wonderfully. Definitely one of my top 5 Chinese food places. If you're into duck, they have it and it's amazing. Also, the Mongolian beef and the Singapore Mai Fun will have you coming back for more.

This place is awesome Take-out. Extremely clean, and the food is fantastic. I see why they have 4-5 stars.. Great Jobs.

The food is great. The service is excellent as well. I recently had a snafu at my job where we wound up paying for the food twice- on credit card and cash. We didn't realize the mistake until later in the day and the delivery driver thought we were tipping cash because of a lot of singles. They wound up returning the cash the next day and I really appreciated their honesty in the matter. It's actions like this that will make me a customer for life!

Best Chinese food I ever had. Excellent! I get it often an I am never disappointed. Always taste great. The meats an chicken are just that.not full of fat. The spices in there food are addicting. They are just right.i won't go anywere else.

If you're looking for no frills, really good Americanized Chinese food (Chicken w/ broccoli or lo meins...etc) in the Montclair/West Orange area, and don't want to pay an arm and a leg, this is your place. I grew up in New York City's Chinatown, and have found only a few places in the area palatable. Hunan Taste is good, but probably cost twice what Lotus Oriental charges for comparable food.

I personally hold a special bond with this restaurant. When I moved to West Orange years ago, you know how hard it is to find a good restaurant. Be it Asian or American. Well venturing out I came across the lotus and I was impressed from that day on. The style and the flavor is different from any other. Plus I came to know them and their children. They where my kids ages and things clicked. My family was raised on lotus and not fried chicken wings. Although they are good. Lol. But the many dishes and speciality dishes you will love. Peace and love. Enjoy your meal.

This place is so clean and professional. They have maintained a safe working environment through out this pandemic. They don't allow indoor dining but continue take orders through their plexiglass window and online or by phone. All orders are recieved through their plexiglass window. Great place to order and feel safe with their precautions in place. Love Lotus Oriental.

Ordered takeout for the first time — outstanding. Veggies were crisp and plentiful, obviously very fresh. Mushroom egg foo young was delicious. Plentiful portions. Brown rice worth the upcharge.

Lotus is the best place to get Chinese food in West orange. The chicken is great and their dumplings are a must have. They serve large portions for a good price. 10/10

Food is just delicious!

This is the BEST Chinese food I have EVER ate! They make their own food and it's Delicious. I moved from W. Orange and now live in Edison. I drive back to Lotus every time, I want to eat Chinese food. You'll never eat any where else. <3

They have the best Chinese food I have found in the West Orange area. Their food is full of flavor and fresh vegetables. This place has become our go to for Chinese food.
