I just spoke with Odetta and she was simply wonderful. She was patient and courteous. That is very refreshing in these crowded and hurried times. Thank you Odetta.

This is for the dentist, Dr. Atsaves... There are not enough stars in the galaxy to give Dr. Atsaves. I scheduled my husband's appointment for a root canal and had to wait 4 months for the appointment, but it was well worth the wait! She is God's hands on earth. I've been in the medical field for years and never met a Dr or DMD with as much patience for a patient like Dr Atsaves. My husband had a late appointment and needed other corrections made on the tooth, and she did the job!! After 5:30pm when staff want home, she continued to do her work, and was her own assistant! She went above and beyond for my husband, and i'm sure for other patients as well. And I just wanted to take the time out to acknowledge that on behalf of my husband. Her patience and deep empathy is truly a testament to her devotion and respect of the Oath she made years ago. Thank you Dr. Atsaves!!!!

The dentist office has improved tremendously. Wait time is exactly your appointment time and my dentist was professional, patient, informative and gentle on my teeth. WOW what a turn around for this place 👍

Dr.Manish Rao had been extraordinary with my little girl for her pediatric dental visits. Amazing staff as well ! They are also affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital which is a plus point. I definitely recommend.

I understand this institute caters to some low-income families thereby contributing to a noble cause. But its dental department's customer disrespect is beyond imagination. I was late for the app by 20 mins, and was told that one of my two sons could not see the doctor that day. They also asked me to fill out forms. I asked for the reason and the supervisor there refuted with utmost disrespect saying I did not let her finish. In fact, she did not listen to me. They simply could not locate my sons' records even though they were at the clinic in January 2021 (on top of that, it is very difficult to make an appointment). My other son finally saw the doctor over one hour later due to the mistake. I insisted we should be able to switch my sons, as my older son has urgent needs (diagnosed in April) and yet, the next appointment is December 14, three months after! Hooray for their complete disregard to the patient's well-being, over the inflexible bureaucracy!

The day after I put this review on Google, they reached out to me immediately to remedy the situation and I got an appointment for tomorrow. Thank you for the swift action!

They have performed admirably through the pandemic to keep patients safe. My PCP is here and absolutly wonderful. They may seem a bit distant at the reception desk but they have to process a lot of people and I am sure that is just being guarded a bit and to keep things moving. Appointments tend to be on time or very close to on time. Rarely have I ever waited long in the three years I have been going here. Literally, the center has changed the trajectory of my health. I weigh less and feel much better. I eat much more healthy than I used to and it is all thanks to the care and guidance of the center and the team there.

I actually really like this place and am glad that it's in the community. I am happy to provide truthful review. I have been a patient here for close to five years and I go there for my medical, dental, and counseling needs.

Sometimes there is a long wait, even if you have an appointment and arrive on time. The reason for this is that they overbook appointments because they have a lot of no shows. Also, I don't understand why most of the people do not used the kiosks to check in. It's so much more convenient. It's probably the demographics.

Most of the staff are very professional. Some of the nurses assistants act in a very unprofessional manner. The atmosphere is definitely different between day and night times. With that being said, the VAST majority of the employees have been very professional and provide excellent assistance.

Dr Issack, Denise Taylor, Jeff, Keisha, The dental clinic and others who's name I forget are excellent and are part of the reason why I will continue to use IFH for all of my healthcare needs.

Great place to go for you dental work! Staff has always been courteous to me and I will continue to go there for treatment. Had one small incident with someone having a bad day over the phone, but hey.. we all have bad days sometimes.

Overall, the facilities are clean, and modern. Waiting room is big enough to accommodate everyone and wait times are very reasonable.

Dr. Surick and the nursing staff are wonderful. They are very attentive, answer questions, are kind and extremely helpful. My elderly mom adores them and I see why she's been coming here for years.

They have quality Physicians! Unfortunately being located in Harlem and that they allow walk-ins, some of the people who have addiction problems carry on because they will not get a script for Opioids or Benzodiazapans. However, they will treat you regardless of insurance. A lot if Doctors are from Mt. Sainai. They have saved my life. The only thing that really bothers me is their high rate of turnover because of micro- managing by the higher ups! In addition they don't have enough people handling the phones! It's quite annoying. Bottom line is you won't get better health care anywhere.

I'm from out of town, and mid-vacation had an abscessed tooth pop up. I'm so thankful it happened here, every nurse doctor desk attendant etc were all SUPER nice and helpful. Not looking forward to going home and dealing with the miserable people that work at my local clinic!

I been going to this Doctors Office for a few years now & I love it I text my Doctors on my chart they answer back fast & when u go in office for a visit you Don't wait more than 15 minutes to see your Doctor

Sometimes there is a long wait. But I love this place. Staff are very friendly and the doctors take the time to explain things for you. The facility is very clean. I refer people there when they need a walk-in clinic.

I am a Social Worker and I utilize this agency often, for my clients is East Harlem. Never had any complaints. Overall, The Institute for Family Health is a great organization. All of their locations.

The Dr. was friendly and explained everything during my visit. The staff here were very kind a d thoughtful as well.

This clinic is the best in NYC Been coming for years. BUT... If you need to contact them on the phone, be sure to take the day off.

My therapist is awesome and everyoen ive met is pretty great
Ive had like 1 bad experience there but it was another patient and it was rlly nothing compared to the rest of my experience there

The Diabetes Education weekly workshops lead by Leticia Aliaga MS RD CDE CDN Certified Diabetes Educator, and Jaritzabeth Rodriguez Diabetes Health Coach, are excellent. Highly interactive, informative, and engaging, the workshops are comprehensive and cover all aspects of diabetes management. Great nutritious snacks as well.
