Normanside

First time eating at Normanside. The food was VERY good and service was great. We had the lobster Mac and Cheese as well as the shrimp/sausage risotto. Both dishes were wonderful! Kudos to the chef for a wonderful meal. I also had the carrot cake. Delicious! Will most definitely be back to see what else they come up with.

Anyone looking for a beautiful, inclusive, yet affordable wedding venue - look no further! We couldn’t be happier we trusted Normanside for our wedding. We knew from the start we were in good hands, as all our vendors had nothing but positive things to say about their own experiences at the venue. Jaimie was outstanding in answering all my questions along the way and made the day of seamless. Jaimie and her team were always responsive and thoughtful, and executed everything better than we could have imagined and let us include so many personal touches.
Not only that, but all our guests have been telling us it’s the best wedding food they ever had. We also got ready in the bridal suite which made the morning of easy for me and my bridesmaids. Thank you Normanside, but especially Jaimie, for making our wedding day so beautiful and effortless!

Worked here couple of seasons on the course. Some of my cuttings and earlier morning sunrises. Very nice place and staff here are great. Would love to still work here but owner says the economy has made the cutting back staff so I was told... maybe will pick up again.. fingers crossed!! Keep up the great work!!

Had our wedding at Normanside and had the best experience with them. The event coordinator, Jaimie Briceno, was incredible to work with. She made our day so easy and beautiful. She went above and beyond to make our wedding exactly what we wanted. The price was very reasonable and it included everything (open bar, cake, and more). I would highly recommend Normanside Country Club for weddings or any other event.

This review is based off a wedding I recently attended there. I'm a photographer with my own business and a former Executive Chef and this review is unbidden from the location. I've bern in the event industry a long, long time. I gotta say, the folks on the event staff - from the wedding coordinator to the Chef - at this place are simply superb. The food offered was better- in taste, consistency, and look - than any other venue I've ever been too as a photographer. I was shocked. The venue was easy to work with and I cannot imagine anyone not being more than satisfied with their effort. This whole group deserves appreciation. 👏

This place does not just have an amazing golf course but also amazing food and great wine. They have an amazing bar. And a room for literally any size party. This venue is the best of the best!!

A hidden gem in Delmar. Although it's a country club, we are not members but the restaurant is open to the public. Food is fantastic and portions are fulfilling. We generally enjoy our "date night" here, eating at the bar, and enjoying one or two of the bar menu specials. We are never disappointed, it's the best bang for the buck and quality of food, which is what brings us back time and time again to Normanside.

My husband and I got married at Normanside last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. We would like to extend a special thank you Jaimie, who went above and beyond to make our big day one we’ll never forget. Jaimie was 100% the reason our wedding day went so smoothly. Any minor hick ups that came up, Jaimie had a solution for it all. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was beautiful and the servers were awesome. Thank you so much to Normanside!! We look forward to coming in for dinner soon.

It all started almost ten years ago when we first moved to Delmar and decided to get married at the country club (which I highly recommend). But even now, married and with busy careers and children, we absolutely love NCC! Their new dining space is very trendy, comfortable and fun and their menu has traditional as well as unique fare. I often go for business lunches, and we meet up for dinners and happy hours there too. In the winter, their golf simulators provide a fun date night option. The NOSH meals are great to have for easy weekday lunches and kids' meals and their delivery option is so convenient. We also order catering with Normanside a few times a year for many varieties of events and they are very considerate of adjusting the menu for our family who have Celiac Disease (needs to be gluten free). I actually didn't realize all that we rely on them for until I started writing this review. Thanks for everything, Normanside crew...We greatly appreciate you!

My husband and I got married at Normanside about a year and a half ago. What a beautiful spot for a wedding! It really was magical! We also love dining here because the menu is creative and the food is delicious. I especially love the pastrami sandwich, the friend chicken sandwich, and the burgers! The staff members (especially Dave, Emma, and Rick) are always so friendly to my whole family! Thank you for giving us an awesome experience every time!

I held my youngest daughters Quincenaera there last weekend. I had my oldest daughters there 5 years ago. They did an amazing job. Emma was great at meeting with me and listening to what I needed or wanted. Dave was awesome as well. The room was beautiful and I didn't feel pressured to hurry and get out at the end of the party. They accommodated the DJ and the photo booth. The food was delicious. My only complaint is that I had to pay an extra $2 per adult for soda as it wasn't included in the price (I don't feel guest should have to pay for soda, I did have a cash bar for drinks) . The scenery for pictures was beautiful. The staff were so professional and on top of everything. So happy I decided to go back. I'd recommend them for anyone looking for an affordable and beautiful place. I gave a 5 star because 10 isn't an option

The was in excellent condition and the greens were fast and smooth. The staff in the pro shop were very friendly and helpful.

I recently went to my sister's wedding at Normanside and the venue was incredible. The Service was excellent and the food was on point! If you're looking for a spot to host a small wedding this is a place you won't want to miss. Even if it's just a dinner in their dining room, or a round of golf, you won't be disappointed!

Enjoyed a nice family lunch. Beautiful salad. Have been there for their holiday brunches. Very nice although I think all holiday brunches in Capital District are a bit over priced. They could make them less food and lower price.
