Hannaford

I live within walking distance of the Glenmont Price Chopper. It would be convenient if not for the stressful and disappointing shopping experience I consistently experience there. I find myself mentally preparing to coddle the deli staff to please cut cold cuts thin or to ask the meat department staff if they have something that I am looking for that doesn’t have a use by date that is the same as the day I am buying it. They make it clear that they are put out by anything that isn’t grab and go. The only exception is the produce staff. They have always been great but the quality of the produce is usually pretty poor.
The Delmar Hannaford experience is a luxury. Fresh meat and vegetables, personable, helpful staff and the deli counter is amazing!!! No 10-20 minute waits as the only customer at the PC counter while the employee moves at a pace that could only be intended to discourage you from asking for an additional thing. Every single time Hannaford’s staff is friendly, accommodating and professional. Hannaford does it right and their employees are always a pleasure!

Hannaford has consistently good produce and proteins, and is much less expensive than Market32. Stores are well lit and easy to navigate, they have great sales and coupons to help save even more

Pharmacy staff are extremely professional …courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and more. A real pleasure to deal with Heather, Sarah and their techs.

I’ve been using this Hannaford Pharmacy for a few years now and I have to say it’s been one of the most positive experiences I’ve had with a pharmacy to date. The staff is extremely helpful they explain everything and answer any questions that you have and the wait is never more than a reasonable amount of time unlike most other pharmacies. The staff really seems to care and look out for their customers and that’s hard to find.

Solid grocery store chain. My local in Delmar has very helpful employees, who really seem to care about their customers.

Shpo here regularly and it's always clean inside and organized. Plenty of parking and carts are always available.
The self service registers are the main draw for us. You can grab a few items and be out the door in 15 mins on most days.

Always a great place to stop no matter what town you may be just wished they were further north of Albany. Love that every single one has something different to offer.

I am not from around here, so this was my first time at Hannaford. It was clean, polite employees and I found everything I needed.

Love doing our full grocery shopping at this Hannaford. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. They go the extra Mike to help. Meat is excellent and well presented. Butcher will cut to order. Extremely low prices. Deli is a stand out, large variety, sliced to our satisfaction and carefully packaged to not crush the cold cuts and cheeses. Roast beef is excellent and nicely priced. Large variety of produce, fresh and nicely displayed. All staff is helpful. BEST SUPERMARKET IN THE AREA.

I went into this Hannaford for the first time ever today. The store was clean and it was easy to find everything I was looking for. The cashier (Gina - Cash 113) was so nice and helpful. She let me know about the Hannaford rewards and how to sign up. I wrote her name down and cash number because I wanted to give her a glowing review. Thank you Gina! I'll be coming back to Hannaford in the near future!

Fresh products, clean, and I like their app as well- you get coupons, rewards. Staff is also good.

Got groceries.....paid at checkout.....then went home. Hannaford fills all of my culinary needs.

I absolutely love this Hannaford even though I have many choices of grocery stores near me.

It's unlikely to find such a large selection 4 different food needs and also the occasional bulk deal.

Organic food section here is constantly improving the place is always clean well-organized even at night and the staff is top notch.

Love this store, many items far cheaper in Delmar than I can get at my local Price Chopper in Ogdensburg. Which is surprising considering when we had a Hannaford in Massena they charged more than Price Chopper on many items. Anyhoo, I stop here almost weekly and its clean, the staff are friendly and I'm always in and out quickly!
