The Hills Market

First time in here looking for a very bizarre wine that I'd never even heard of . Talked with the woman in the wine section - and she knew exactly what I was talking about. Wow. Unfortunately, she hasn't been able to carry specifically what I was looking for, but she showed me a fabulous alternative. So appreciative!

A high level of service, great atmosphere, and things difficult to get elsewhere.

Be sure to checkout the offerings in the back. The prepared foods and connections are amazing. Had great experience at the butcher counter and enjoyed what I purchased.

Had a high level of service today while I was looking at some specialty products and I'm going to use as gifts but I do nothing about. They talked me through at each were and then help me get them. It was nice.

This is a hidden gem, give it a try.

Oh, and try their Delmonico steaks. I don't have them often, but for a very special occasion, they can't be beat.

They also have a nice selection of local wines. They have a very knowledgeable wine person who helps.

They have some cool gluten free stuff.

Hills is a Worthington area icon. I love groceries / markets who have excellent products and carry some things you can't find elsewhere. Their wine selection and their beer selection is very significant - and is well chosen. And they also have fun neighborhood events at their bar / patio.

Awesome salad bar. My hands were full, the lady at the bar carried my beer up to the checkout line and waited for my turn to check out. Great customer service.

Absolutely LOVE this store. The best selection of Hard Liquor around period. They have interesting and niche products and really quality meat and seafood. Yes, they are a little pricey, but I think you get great value for your money from the friendly, knowledgeable staff and awesome selection. Events held regularly on their patio with food trucks and drink specials. A MUST go!

Devine! The low light dark interior and smell of smoked meats instantly takes you to a better place!

They carry things that other stores do not. I am a senior and love the shopping experience of a small store big stores involve allot of walking and it is hard to find items. A big plus at hills market is the friendly service.

My personal favorite is the sun shake (banana/mango/strawberry) but I've tried a bunch, and the smoothies here are all great. It's clear they use fresh fruit and they've nailed the perfect balance of ingredients. it's unbelievably good for the value and I highly recommend!

My wife and I are poor city dwellers (literally AND figuratively), so our income doesn't really afford us the chance to shop at "upscale" markets all that often. We just happened to be in the area on our way to do something else, and stopped by this place on the way home. It's fantastic!

It's small, but packed to the gills with some good stuff. Of course, quite a bit of it is way more expensive than what you'll find in supermarkets, but a lot of it is also sourced and made right here in Ohio. I was shocked to see a great liquor selection (complete with the rare Creme de Violette), along with tons of beers and wines. Even a little movie rental place! They have pizzas made in-house for just $10 ($7.99 on Wednesdays) and they are fantastic...light crust and tasty, fresh toppings.

In doing extra research, I was amazed to find that they also do a ton of weekly events that are affordable for any budget, like brat and beer nights, where their own brats are $3 each, or burger nights, where their own beef burgers are $6. The veranda, where many of these events take place, looks cozy and inviting. And best of all, it doesn't feel pretentious or snobby. It's out of the way for us, but we'll make the trip every once in a while. A great community spot to just hang out and enjoy some great food!

Just moved to the area. Decided to check it out. Not disappointed at all. The selection, variety and atmosphere is amazing. Biggest in person wine and alcohol collection I've ever seen. They almost have everything you can think of.

The chef is amazing. Filled a large order without a blink. The store itself has those hard to find items as well as the necessities. We love stoping here. The food bar is also quite good!

I've lived here for 20 years and they're a great place for small grocery trips plus they have very good prepared food in the back, but things tend to be a bit expensive so keep the trips small. Staff are always nice and happy to help. Overall, I highly recommend!

Courteous employees helped me find a family favorite barbeque sauce made by D.B. Yummers. I bought a case of it! Loved the store!

If you're looking for something specific for a recipe or a special drink that's only brewed a few months out of the year, this is the place to find it. These guys know their stuff! Everyone in this local gem is knowledgeable and ready to help find your request or make a suggestion. They never fail. Local, sustainable, and friendly!

This is a small market with quality and unique items. Excellent costumer service. I highly recommend the Hills house dips and take and bake pizza. Fantastic deli and heat and eat selections. Full selection of wine and spirits.

Cool little specialty grocery store right off of the Olentangy bike trail. They have beer on draft and an incredible wine selection along with all of the staples and specialty foods.

From the chef to the cashier to the manager, customer service is superb. Best chicken salad ever...top notch wine selection...superior products across the board. Love this market.
