Vertical Runner

I have purchased from vertical runner multiple times. This time was special, my mother-in-law needed a pair of tennis shoes and it was time to upgrade from Skechers. The ladies were so patient with her and made sure to find the best fit for her feet (she has preexisting issues). She is a very picky person and they didn't bat an eye when she started listing her requests. Eventually she found the right shoe and was able to get a color she liked shipped to her home. I wanted a pair of On Cloud shoes and found Vertical Runner on OC’s website. The staff was super helpful, friendly and informative. They actually took the time to measure my foot and apparently it has grown a bit over time. It’s been years since someone actually sized me for a shoe. They didn’t have the color I wanted, but ordered it and I received it promptly. Great shoe, great service, I’ll definitely be back! Thanks!!!

Casey does an exceptional job fitting teen athletes and their worn down parents! She looks for issues and finds the very best shoes for performance , comfort and long wear and tear. We are loyal to this establishment for their knowledge, value, great customer service, and abundant patience.

Had a wonderful experience getting a much needed new pair of runners. Kristen bent over backwards to help me figure out what shoes would best suit my needs. She helped me with sizing, gait analysis, and offered some wonderful expertise. Will definitely head back for my next pair and then some.

I have been here 2x within a month or two for walking shoes and shoes for volleyball. Both times I’ve been treated with respect. Not rushed. My needs were listened to and I’m glad he did not take my word for it on sizing bc I was different than I thought! I felt intimidated going here initially bc I am not a runner. But when I arrived I felt at ease. Their customer service is top notch and I really appreciated being helped and heard. Thank you! I ended up with two pairs of shoes I absolutely love.

This store and the amazing people working there have saved me 3 times now with a running shoe emergency! They are all so knowledgable and kind, and they really care about helping you find the best fit for what you need, and will do whatever they can to get you what you need.

Have gotten my shoes here when I was really running a few years ago. Took a hiatus and wanted to try them out again. Had a lot of questions. Cassie was so patient and answered them all. Gave me a lot of options and found a pair that felt like I was running on clouds. Didn’t feel pressured and the knowledge was so helpful.

My 68 year old feet and knees told me it was time to purchase a good pair of walking shoes. My experience at the Vertical Runner was 5 stars. The staff was friendly, polite, knowledgable and patient. The shoes I purchased made it so much easier to walk my pup, FloJo, three times a day.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. When you walk in, they immediately get to work on helping you find your perfect shoe. They have you walk around, measure your feet, ask you your needs and preferences. I learned so much about my feet from going here! Plus they're passionate runners themselves and advertise different events. Really good people that will take care of you whether you're a marathon runner or just someone that wants good shoes for the treadmill at home.

I’m a avid runner and I stop at every running store that comes across my path. The Vertical Runner is one of the best. The prices are amazing, Patagonia and brooks shirts for $20. Huge selection in apparel, shoes, gear, and running snacks. Expert staff, super helpful and knowledgeable about trails near by. Can’t recommend enough.

I've been a customer here for years. They spend a lot of time fitting for shoes. I spend a while in the store last week. The attendant made several trips to the basement to get shoes for me to try on. (I have weird feet.) All of the products in the store are quality and reliable.

Talk about knowledge. This little shop is so much better prepared than the large sporting goods place at the mall. They will help you without having to track someone down for a size. They helped me find shoes that were comfortable, ive been wearing a half size too small, they got me into a shoe that feels so good i no longer have foot issues. Im a once in a while runner, but these guys are the pros. Their prices have been lower than msrp. Love this place. Check em out.

They are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Prone to pronation? They will identify the issue and suggest multiple shoes that address the problem. Same with arches, wide or narrow feet (or specific parts of your feet). Are you a runner, walker, hiker, etc? They will give you choices and let which shoe you feel most comfortable in. My wife an I have had excellent experiences here and have been very pleased with the shoes we purchased.

Vertical Runner is my go-to Running Shop. They have everything you need there and an amazing staff that will help you with any and every question you may have about running gear. Vince the owner does an awesome job to be in store as much as possible and to come over and greet you with a big giant smile and thank you for coming in and visiting them whether you buy something or not. If you are an experienced Runner or just beginning this is the place you need to go for all you're running needs.

I've never met someone who knows as much about running shoes as Chase. He was incredibly attentive and really took his time to make sure that I selected the best shoes for my feet. Would recommend Vertical Runner to everyone, from the jogger to the hard core runner.

Great running store. Of course, they have all of the typical selections that you would expect, but they also have the added benefit of doing various events and providing running groups. I highly recommend checking them out! Plus, they are an Ohio/local business, which is always a plus.

Very, very helpful. First time runner and was there for nearly an hour before picking perfect shoe for me based on consultative selling process. Highly recommend.
