An authentic experience. We went for Mother's Day. My son visits weekly and I wanted to try it out. Good food, good service and interesting and fresh drinks. Thanks for welcoming us and sharing.your culture and food.

Every meal I've had here has been on point and continues to be.

I'm mainly here for the tacos but will always likely get a ceviche toastada, too!

Must get meats for tacos:
Lengua (cow tongue)
Cabeza (head meat)
Al Pastor (marinated pork with pineapple)

*PSA: I just recently ate there, and they definitely improved the flavors of their protein options!

The birria queso tacos are also one of the best!

The only thing I wish they would improve on is making fresh mixed margaritas instead of serving those pre-made in a jug.

This place is great, of the many times I have been here, regardless if it was busy or not, the food is always great, the staff are very friendly and the restaurant is clean enough. Their booths need some repair and TLC but everything else makes up for it. The prices vs portion sizes are amazing and I always leave with leftovers. Another nice thing is the Mexican store attached to it. Definitely worth a try if you haven't been to this restaurant and check out the small store attached.

Ordered the guacamole. Chucks of avocado, hint of lime, a little garlic. Perfect taste!

Street tacos. Yes, please, at 2.95, mix and match the meat. Lengua, AL pastor, chorizo. All great choices.

Quesadilla with carne asada. Melted cheese, meat, and tortilla. Melts in your mouth.

Some of the best authentic Mexican food I've ever had. The staff is always really friendly and despite the place always being busy, food always comes out quickly and tasting amazing. I can't get enough of their avocado salsa/sauce!
They've made quite a few renovations over the last few years so the dining in experience is better than ever. Definitely worth stopping by for a bite.

Very clean, polite and helpful staff. Portions were great. Horchata was good. Great selections on meats for tacos and burritos. Definitely will be back when in the area again.

This is a small place in an older area of Akron. Don't let any of this detour you from enjoying a great dinner! The food was very flavorful! They do a great job of making a fresh authentic latin meal for you! The servers, the owners they were all very professional. The store attached is amazing as well with Mexican foods and staples for purchase. The meats and the baked goods are also very good. I was really caught off guard by this place. I would tell anyone wanting to go out for Mexican to stop at La Loma! You will be pleased with your choice!

I wish I could give more stars than 5 because this place deserves them all. Let me preface this by saying that I'm not a huge Mexican food lover but this place has won me over. For starters, even on a Saturday night there was ample parking and little to no wait to get a table. The waiter was super attentive and helpful for our selections. The food was incredible. I had the chicken and cheese quesadilla and it was like a grilled cheese with chicken. My wife got the street tacos and was very impressed even for a connoisseur of Mexicana. The horchatta was delicious and refillable. The best part was the bill was less than $40 for 2 people. Incredible! Come check out this amazing value hidden gem!

Also, when you're finished in the restaurant, you have to check out the grocery store attached. It features all your authentic favorites and a bakery for your favorite Mexican treats. 😍

Placed an order for pickup after some friends recommended it. Seriously exceeded expectations. We ordered the Gordo Burrito and the Fajitas Burrito. They were excellent, full of flavor, and MASSIVE (Both the Steak and Barbacoa were juicy and seasoned, plus theyre very generous on serving size). You can tell they really put love into the food here. Honestly we should have gotten a table cause the place looks cool too!

So this is our new go to for Mexican food!!! The seasoning on the grilled chicken is perfect! Staff is beyond nice and helpful. The hot sauce they bring to the table with the warm chips and freshly made salsa is super hot but soooooo good!! But I think the real gem is the little grocery store attached to the restaurant. They have everything directly from Mexico so there are a lot of treats you can't get here. And the prices are great. Now let's move on to the bakery.... They have donuts and croissants that are huge and super fresh. The taste is amazing.(As much as you are tempted, DO NOT eat these flakey treats in your car!!) I'm a bit confused on the pricing. One day they were $1.50 and the next $2. But they could have been $5 each and well worth it!!! But wait, there's more!! There's an ice cream shop next door attached to a little party store to buy candy in bulk and pinatas to stuff it all in. This place is hands down one of the best little gems in all of Akron. 10/10 would recommend over any Mexican food and grocery in the whole city!!!

Best Mexican food in the Akron area! The cilantro and veggies were so fresh, the cheese was absolutely delicious. I also hopped over to the grocery side to get a slice of flan to go. Will be telling all of my friends and family to go!

Absolutely amazing real authentic Mexican food!!! It’s lil Mexico in Akron! I’ve been coming here since they started as a taco truck about 10 years now. Lovely owners who care about the food they cook! Nothing but deliciousness! I highly recommend if ur in the area... I drive 29 miles from home just to get there food and have been satisfied every time I went! I’ve never had one bad service!! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant!!! I hope they never close! The owner is so sweet! We love her!! *** update: they will be opening the bar soon with margaritas too!!!

First time was wonderful. Caution: orange and green sauces are extremely hot. Salsa is out of this world! Margaritas and Pina coladas were delicious! Food portions are large, you get what you pay for. Our server Carolina~ was spectacular! She gave great recommendations on the menu and waited on our every need with a beautiful smile. We will definitely be back!

The absolute best birria tacos in North East Ohio. The place is unassuming from the outside but it is exceptional. If you like Mexican food you owe it to yourself to make the trip. The guacamole is also delicious!

Extremely clean and food was delicious! Definitely some of the best Mexican cuisine I've had. The grocery store attached it a hidden gem with fresh bakery items.

Words cannot describe the deliciousness of this place. My go to is “El Pastor” tacos. 32/10, next go to is obviously the Barria Tacos. Even the salsa and chips they bring out before your meal is AMAZING.
They are very inviting and there is even a bakery next door.
