Sampino’s Kitchen at Joe Marty’s

Excellent appetizers and atmosphere! Had a garden salad and a fettuccine alfredo w/ chicken. They also gave us a complimentary orange sherbet ice cream before we left! Would absolutely recommend!!

Went there for our first time and it was fantastic! Make reservations, which we didn't know we needed. However, there was a seats at the bar which is perfect for us. The bartender recommended food and we accepted, and so pleased we did! Calamari, prawn linguine and sausage linguine. His service and response time was impeccable. We also added the house wine to our meal which was a very good cab. No tap beers...the tappers were all fake and just for the look. Lol. Overall....we will be returning!

The best Carbonara I've ever tried, all food in here were delicious and the service amazing, congratulations to Sampino's. Oh do you a favor and ask for an Espresso Martini !

This family has been in Sacramento for many many decades, doing Italian food perfect.
What we notice and appreciate the most, besides great food and service, is the seriousness of the whole staff, front and back of the house. This is a no nonsense, top shelf establishment. Bravo to them all!

Formerly Joe Marty's now Sampino's Kitchen where I enjoyed an early dinner at 5pm on a Thursday. I was not disappointed. Looking forward to Minestrone Soup, but not on the Menu since Covid.
Was suggested to have Prawn Linguine. It was amazing! The wine broth was so tasty.
Prawns were sweet. I will be back with friends. Lots of Happy Faces.
At 6pm the place was packed. Noticed a 90 minute suggested time-limit per guests as the place is fairly small.

I would highly recommend Sampino’s Kitchen at Joe Marty’s! Just had a fantastic lunch there: very friendly staff, beyond delicious food and great atmosphere (I loved all the baseball memorabilia). The owner added the personal touch of checking in with us at the end of our meal, which wasn’t necessary but a nice touch and appreciated. My husband and I shared the buffalo wings, he had the Marty’s burger and I had the meatball sandwich. If you haven’t been, you’re definitely missing out!

First time in this restaurant. We went to celebrate my friends birthday and let me tell you, It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Since we arrived, all the staff was great. I ordered some pasta 😋, recommended by the waiter, and it was delicious. Amazing wines, food, and service. Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations. It's definitely a to go restaurant if you are in Sacramento. Thank you.

What a terrific evening at Sampinos! I brought my wife in for a date night. Calamari steaks were tender and seasoned perfect, the Pinot was great, awesome service and atmosphere, the vibe was great. Dinner was wonderful. I highly recommend Sampinos, we will definitely be back. Thank you!

We sat at the bar and the bartender, Austin, was very attentive and gave great recommendations. The food was delicious and came out quickly. We got the prawn linguine and the meat lasagna. Both were amazing! The owner, Mike, also made us a special mint drink to try that was very smooth. Very nice guy! Wonderful to see him personally checking on guests, which you dont see often. Will definitely come again. Great atmosphere. Over all a great experience!

My favorite Italian restaurant! From authentic Italian dishes to delicious fun drinks from the bar, there’s something for everyone. Everything they have here is great so no matter what you order you’ll love it! My personal favorites are the prawn linguine and the decaf espresso martini.

We had an enjoyable time here. Our server took care of all our needs. We ordered the minestrone soup, salmon, pesto gnocchi, cheese ravioli, and a burger. Our food was well prepared and delicious. The restaurant has a baseball theme and some interesting historical pictures of Landpark. Parking is available next to restaurant.

Haven’t been there in a really long time! Went there to celebrate early birthday. Service was great and attentive. I had the cherry lemon drop and the chicken piccata. Loved the lemon taste in the pasta dish. Pretty large portion, definitely leftovers for later.

Great food and friendly service, would come back! Recommend the pastrami sandwich and burger. My family also enjoyed the meatball sandwich, wings and fries.

Great atmosphere with sports memorabilia both national and local. The food is great and service was both very professional and personal.

Came here with girlfriends to celebrate birthdays. When I tell you the food is DELICIOUS! I’m quite a cook myself but Sampino’s is an experience. The food is so fresh. You can actually taste the love. The service is equally great. I can’t believe I had never heard of this restaurant! The Salmon is some of the best I’ve ever had. Everyone loved their food. Sampino the owner is so sweet! If you’re lucky he may come out the kitchen long enough to say hello.

Late last week my daughter and I stopped by Joe Marty's. I have walked by the place on my way to Tower Café many times. We decided to go in and see if a table was available. It was about 7:30 pm on Thursday night, the restaurant was almost full. We were seated right away. Ambiance was great, loved the baseball memorabilia. We shared the Calamari which I recommend (pairs well with a glass of Chianti). My daughter had the lobster ravioli, and she let me have a couple of bites. I had the Pesto Gnocchi, also excellent. Big portions, so I recommend bringing your appetite (or getting a to-go box). Will definitely be back!

Sam pino goes above and beyond any expectations you will have for food . It’s not the food that should only attract you here it’s the experience. The family the friends the co workers .
