Smic's Bar Sacramento

What a great spot! Great drinks, chill atmosphere, and good music. The lighting is fabulous for a night cap, intimate conversation, and a few drinks before the clubs. Tables and seating are varied in placement from the bar stools, to a standing table, to smaller tables with big seating areas. Our bartender was excellent and they were so accommodating to our group which grew and grew by the end of the night. Will definitely be going back again.

Hosted a private work event here and it was perfect. Paula was super responsive and accommodating. Will def be back when in the area!

Trendy and hip bar in the middle of walkable downtown. Good house cocktail list, plus a small but very solid food menu. Friendly service too! Good for just a drink or sharing some small plates to fill up.

Great spot for unique drinks, tasty bites and a city atmosphere. The interior has a sophisticated neighborhood vibe while the patio offers a relaxing evening with friends in fresh air. Will absolutely come back. Looking forward to exploring the cocktail menu a little further. Specials thanks to the owner Paula whom visited our table and thanked us for our business. Nice touch and nice to support a local family owned restaurant.

This is my favorite place to go for food and drinks in all of Sacramento! Atmosphere and service are unmatched.

Sophisticated atmosphere, great service and great drink menu!!

Small, cozy place. It was a private event, and the DJ kept the place jumping. The hor duvres were good. Street parking was ok., But meter runs until 10pm. m-sat. so be careful.

My wife and I came here off a recommendation and had a very pleasant experience. The Mac and Cheese Balls were cheesy enough for our liking and didn’t leave us feeling bogged down like most Mac and cheese balls do. The added lemon on the Brussels sprouts really elevated them making the dish delicious. The drinks were also great and fun.

Only minor critique would be to turn the lights up like 15%.

Intimate, well decorated cocktail bar with great cocktails and beer selection. The bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly. Looking forward to coming back to try the food.

Perfect place to grab a drink before Broadway Sacramento.

Great experience. I came at opening to "claim" the beautiful table in the back for a client meeting. The clients LOVED the atmosphere, music and whole vibe. We stayed for a couple hours and the server was both available when needed but gave us space. This was my first time here and it won't be my last.

What a gem! Had a lovely night here with my gal pals. The food and drinks were out of this world. The service was also amazing, the owner Paula was delightful. So excited to have this spot downtown and can’t wait to come back!

I went to Smic’s this past weekend to celebrate my birthday. I sent an email over to see if they had seating for 8, and Paula the owner got back to me quickly and set us up with their community table. It was absolutely perfect, it was set away from other tables so it felt more private. Our server Anthony was phenomenal, super attentive and friendly. We got multiple different dishes to share and everything was delicious! We got all the sharer items- The curry chicken empanadas were my favorite! Also, their chambongs aren’t on the menu but they are amazing as so much fun! Thank you so much Paula, Anthony and the whole Smic’s team for making my 30th birthday dinner one to remember!

Great place, friendly staff, close to hotels where we have events. Only thing that that I would like to see during busy times is a second bartender

Great speak easy Roarin’ 20’s modern feel, music is on point from 80s to now, amazing food, good craft beer. Awesome.
