The hungry bear is an older establishment worthy of all its years of praise- but do be warned you may have some longer wait times because of this but the staff is kind and accommodating.

I’ve only ever had their breakfast but everything is delicious, and priced fairly. The ambience of this place is my favorite part, though the food is wonderful the decor is worthy of a visit itself. Hundreds of old teddy bears and bear related memorabilia line the entire restaurant, it’s really sweet to see and adds to the kind nature of the service.

Stop being hungry and go visit this hungry bear, it’s a wonderful place worth the trip from CO Springs or anywhere.

This place is very cool / has character. I also was extra pleased with my omelette, had gravy on top which was the BEST! With so many chain restaurants going to a sanitized modern aesthetic grossness, it was awesome to dine here amongst the bears!

Cute little restaurant with a unique atmosphere, good food, and service. The gravy is alittle iffy however the pancakes are delish and homemade!

Food was great. We had the lunch special of open-faced Roast beef with garlic mashed potatoes. The potatoes were real! The service was awesome. They treated our family well and was very kind and engaging with the kids. Definitely a place to eat and come back again. God Bless.

The food was incredible. The fruit cream crepes were particularly good. I have a picture, but it's of an empty plate because it was too good to stop and take pictures of it.

Great iconic local diner, thats a bit nostalgic for us having lived in Woodland Park several years ago. Back in the day they were known for their dutch pancakes but I fell in love with their cranberry nut french toast which they still do. be sure to put your name on the list and be prepared for a bit of a wait as they can get pretty busy.

LOVE this little diner in woodland Park! My waitress was the sweetest and the owners we very appreciative and playful. The food is GREAT and they have something for EVERYONE. However if you're not a fan of tight or cluttered spaces, just keep In mind it's basically a replica of grandmas house.

This banana split crepe is to die for. I am not super adventurous, but I gave it a shot and I'm so glad I did. My husband and I liked it so much we came back 2 days in a row. The service is slow right now due to being short staffed, but I promise this crepe is worth the wait!

Through a conversation with a local at a Stop in Colorado Springs, I was told to check this place out.

Food was fantastic and perfectly prepared.

I'm pretty sure the Fried chicken cutlets are frozen and baked. The corn had no flavor on it and it had the water in the cup. The chicken fried steak was thin. Everything tasted good except the corn.

Whoever runs this place loves bears lol. They are everywhere in the restaurant. Hungry Bear is a unique take on a diner in the Woodland Park area. They make a mean Corned Beef Hash and aren’t shy loading up the plate. They really lived up to their “bear portions” claims, because I was about ready to hibernate after my meal.

We love the Hungry Bear! It is a "must do" on all of our trips to Woodland Park. Food is always good and my favorite is the Cindy Lou. We've only had breakfast here, but they serve lunch too. Can't go wrong with a stop at the Hungry Bear!

Hungry Bear is a terrific place for breakfast! It is a true hometown restaurant with charm and friendliness to spare!

Every time family visits, we make a trip to the Hungry Bear for a family breakfast. This has become a beloved tradition!

The eggs, pancakes, and chicken fried steak are amazing! The green chili adds a wonderful Colorado zing to some breakfast choices! The hot cocoa is delicious!

We especially love the way Heather and Sue Ellen go out of their way to make every person feel special, even the little ones!

When you eat at the Hungry Bear, you leave full, happy, and with a smile on your face!

So happy to be back after 9 years. Still the best spicy breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! Servers are so welcoming and we enjoyed all the bear themed decor. A must visit when you stop in Woodland Park!
