The Maté Factor Café

Loved it. I wish I could drink mate every single day. We got the mango and the lemon-lime iced mates and both were amazing. Super flavorful and very different from each other. Pleasant atmosphere and ultra friendly & kind staff. The avocado, veggie sandwich with sprouts was also DELICIOUS and highly recommended.

I do love this place! Even better to know they are the only place opened 24/5 which is awesome because sometimes you go down from the Pikes Peak and you have nothing hot around. Next time I will ask for the smoothie. I tried the gourd mate and it was strong at the beginning but then it becomes more friendly. I love your team and how you take time to explain difference between items you have on the menu! Pumpkin cake was absolutely piece of heaven.

Loved the atmosphere of the place. It's a very well designed Interior. The Latte that I got(fresh green hot) was amazing

Delicious sandwiches (piping hot, so fair warning) that are a good value with lots of unique options. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was very inviting. Sit in one of their custom booths and feel like you're in a tavern of Middle Earth while trying some Maté, which they are very proud of and will let you sample first.

Very happy with the experience we had here. The sandwich and soup was delicious. The service was amazing considering how busy they were as one of the only places open at the time. The lemon and ginger tea was great. Highly recommend checking them out.

Got 3 delicious sandwiches. Not a whole lot of variety but I liked the "make your own" option. More choices that way. Bread was fantastic, reasonably priced. 3 sandwiches with chips or vegetable salad was $38.

This is my favorite place. The mate teas are delicious. I always get the peach one. The new lemon lime one is also good. They used to have raspberry but now it is seasonal. The gentlemen working are so kind. This place is cozy and just an overall amazing experience every time.

This place is suuuper awesome, I make special trips a lot just to come here. Atmosphere is very unique and cool, looks like an indoor rainforest village. Drinks are amazing, 'Common Ground' is my favorite, and they have the best Chai drink of any I've ever had anywhere, and I've tried Chai in a lot of places. Service is great, very friendly, good chill music played. And food is actually great too...I know sounds too good to be true. Check it out and see....

I adore this cafe! It was the perfect space to knock out some work, and chat with the owners about their story. If you love great food, drinks, and conversation, this is the place to be!

Unique small restaurant, house made bread, and everything from scratch, you will love the sound of the lake while having the best sandwiches in Manitou! Staff is super friendly 10/10

I'm shocked at the reviews of this place. Did people go to the same place as I did? Creepy? Cultish? Rude? What?! This felt like a cute, quaint, homey environment with kind staff and AMAZING food. The Maté was phenomenal (I recommend the mango one)

Incredible. Food, drinks, ambiance is all phenomenal here. The woman who was working was so sweet, she gave me some samples of all the mate blends they have prepared. The rasberry mate is absolutely delicious. I got a breakfast sandwich and it was phenomenal, I added avocado to it for only $1 and it was so fresh and made the sandwich just perfect. I will be returning especially after figuring out they are open 24 hours!

Charming place and such a fitting atmosphere for Manitou Springs. Very nice staff and quick service. Delicious teas and smoothies. Did not have any food but I hear all around that it’s delicious.

Outstanding, tiny eatery at the traffic circle in Manitou. It is a real gem in the neighborhood.
Based on the name of the business, you'd be allowed to believe they serve maté beverages - and you'd be correct but off the mark. Besides MANY alternatives for how that cup of maté might be prepared, they have numerous other drink options, including even coffee!
The real treasure of the place, though, is the understated food menu - all hand made breakfast, soups n salads, hot and cold sandwiches and wraps - oh my. And that's not near all.

This place is awesome!! Wraps were delicious, fresh, and filling. We tried all the Iced Mates, and loved them all and look forward to going back! Fun, cozy atmosphere with indoor and outdoor options and super friendly staff. Highly recommend this gem

Great tea! And amazing sandwiches! I got the breakfast sandwich and the wife got veggie patty sandwich. Both were delicious! Mate was great! Cool little spot near the center of main street Manitou Springs!

My wife and I were passing through Manitou springs on our honeymoon and couldn’t help but stop in the building looked so cozy.

The mango mate tasted delicious and the spring chicken sandwich was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten.

I can’t recommend the stop enough!

Best spontaneous stop in Manitou. Their Tropical Smoothie is to die for! 👌 We went back to try all their smoothies!
