Just added an extra night to stay! Perfect location to enter the West entrance of Yellowstone National Park, only 5 mins drive! Also 5 minutes to get to West Yellowstone town where you have everything you need. Camp hosts have been super friendly and polite from the moment we arrived. We didn't book online, but we managed to get one of the first come first served spots as someone was leaving as we arrived. Tonight, they had a few songs playing from a band around the campfire at the hosts spot (was lovely music with lovely people). Wasn't disruptive to others camping etc. Toilets are very clean and water is accessible throughout the site. Would highly recommend!

This is a great base campground to visit West Yellowstone. Close to a cute town with lots to do. Campground is clean and has spacious, (relatively level) sites with various driveway sizes and levels of shade to please everyone. Most sites are fcfs with a few in the front having electricity. I was told an outside company is used to reserve a few electric spots in the back. Vault toilets in each section, fill station, and drinking water taps, but no dump station. It was imo a bit expensive at 32$ for the electric sites, but the location was ideal! There is a small walk near the river and we did ride our bikes, although the area is mostly woods.

I love this campground! It is about 5 minutes away from West Yellowstone City, which is a darling and has the playmill theater. This campground has lots of sites and beautiful trees and fields, there is a beautiful lake with a little path going around it. Every site has a table with a accessibility bench so it is easy to push a wheelchair in, or stand and prepare food without a bench being in the way. Each site also has a bear box, which is super awesome for food storage. There are outhouses and clean water spigot space throughout the campsite as well.

We stayed here 1 night and explored Yellowstone Park. Quiet campground. Trash available and vault toilets. Easy to tell when spots are taken/reserved with their tagging system.

I love that it is first-come first-served. Not everyone's job and situation allows them to plan 6 months in advance. We came on a Thursday in July around 10 am and there were a handful of spots available. Most spots are spacious. Camp hosts are great. Restrooms clean.

Good campground. Near the highway but not so noisy, especially if you set your camp close to the river. Toilets are clean. We spent 2 nights and it was perfect for the price (only 20$/night! Self registration). Located 5-10 minutes from yellowstone park (west entrance). We are there during the high season. Even though, there was a lot of places when we've arrived.

We loved this campground in West Yellowstone. 5 stars because the host was the friendliest ever of all the hostesses of all the campgrounds we have ever stayed. The river passing along the camp is very beautiful.
Place is quiet regardless there’s a highway right on the side. Very well kept only downside it doesn’t have a dump station but you can easily find one in town. Still 5 starts we just loved it!

Such a nice campground! Stopped here and had a picnic lunch in the day use area. Drove thru the campground, noticed every site is equipped with a metal food locker to keep safe from bears.

Spent the day in Yellowstone and my daughter wanted to camp out. We were referred to this little campground by the Visitor Center just outside of Yellowstone's West Entrance and it was perfect. The hosts were extremely friendly and the camp site is clean and safe. The cost was extremely reasonable... I would highly recommend it and would definitely camp out here again. And yes.... take mosquito repellent... mosquitoes were vicious out there!

Jack was a great host! Love the no reservation first come first serve. Has electric in about half the sights. Water is available to fill your tank, just not at the sites. Been coming here for years. If you are noise sensitive then find another place. Has some highway and aviation noise or just bring earplugs

Very clean and well maintained area with easy access to the river. The hosts were gracious and helpful. The bathrooms were especially clean and were kept well stocked, which is quite different than most campgrounds I've been too. The location is perfect for quick access to West Yellowstone and the park. You will hear the sound of vehicles driving by on the highway, however, it was only minor and forgettable considering the aforementioned amenities.

Some dry camping areas and some electric sites. No dump station. Fresh water available near exit. Nice sites. About 2 minutes from West Yellowstone Airport. About 10 minutes to the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. Rules are: first come, no reservations. Board reads take envelope, fill out and post on EMPTY site, return to board and pay fee within 30 minutes of occupation. If the site is not empty, do not post your reservation slip. Post on vacated, empty site.

Solid campground if you know what to expect, it's first come first serve and very few electric spots (no water). We got the last one, beautiful view and cozy stay before heading into Yellowstone.

We love this place! It's tough to find camping in Yellowstone, it's also a hassle to try & fit campers into the spots in the park... BUT..Baker's Hole campground is just outside the park a little north of the town of West Yellowstone.if you have the Federal Senior pass, it can be used her for 1/2 price camping! It's a nice campground, quiet and we'll laid out. One of our favorite place to to stay!

It’s hard to camp near Yellowstone without reservations so this first come first serve National Forest campground is a joy for anyone who doesn’t like to plan ahead. 73 sites where 33 are electric, just 3 miles outside the West Yellowstone Park Entrance. There’s road noise, but the sites are spacious and private with fire ring and picnic table. We arrived 10am on a Friday and got an electric site with several to choose from.

Would give this place a thousand stars if I could! The most beautiful campground right up against the Madison River, with the sweetest hosts ever!! Diane and Rodney made this an incredible experience and our trip would not have been the same without them and this awesome camp. Definitely will return for any Yellowstone adventure!

A big problem with the campgrounds found at Yellowstone, is that it's so hard to get into one. But this campsite was different it's so easy to go and get yourself a lot and on the plus sign all bathrooms are spotless. And all trash seem to have been picking up beforehand. The location the people and the equipment there was amazing. I'd recommend it to anyone.

A very nice campground. Only 3 miles from West Yellowstone entrance. Madison river flows right next to camp. Lots of fishing, mountain/ski mobile tracks and hiking around the camp. The camp ground host really run a nice place. Pit toilets are spotless!
