Mona Lisa Fondue Restaurant

Spent the most romantic Valentine's Day here. The service was above and beyond from the time we walked in the door. Highly recommend a drink in the wine cellar before dinner (downstairs). Food was phenomenal. And the entire restaurant has the coziest most romantic vibes.

Yesterday I came into Mona Lisa after wanting to try it for about 9 years now, it absolutely exceeded my very high expectations. I wanted to bring my girlfriend to a nice surprise dinner to celebrate the day I met her 5 years ago. The service was phenomenal, the atmosphere/ambience was charming and the recommendations were exscusite. Cameron gave us 7/5 star service and recommended the Earthquake Red wine with our wild game choice. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, the bread from a local bakery and the Elk, buffalo, Duck, and rainbow trout were everything I wanted it to be. They also made the night very special to celebrate our love and it was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had, I cannot recommend this place enough!

Went last night 5/1/24 for the first time ever and it was absolutely incredible. Our server Bear was such a charm and our host was incredibly nice and helpful with picking out wines. Food was incredible. A great date night spot and we will definitely be back on a more special occasion

We went for my daughter's birthday and it was sensational. Jasmine was our server and took excellent care of us. She made conversation and showed true care for us and our experience. We laughed with her and she shared her favorites and the food was superb! We planned on 2 hours and spent over 3 hours there. The atmosphere is soothing and caters to the experience. It is not the "chain" fondue experience and that made it so much better! We felt pampered and special and we will go back whenever we get the chance. Thank you, Jasmine!! You are an absolute treasure and made it a great night.

Excellent dinner and service. We love Swiss cheese fondue and Mona Lisa did not disappoint. It was some of the best we’ve ever tasted. Melting Pot doesn’t even compare. The Caesar salad was average but good. Good variety of fruits, veggies and bread for the fondue. Definitely recommend.

We absolutely LOVED our evening here! We were recommended by a friend for my birthday, so we made the drive and it was totally worth it. The building itself is so cute, and you can feel the history of it. Our waitress was so amazing, and really made my birthday feel special. I didn’t think my husband was going to enjoy the experience, because it’s just not really his thing. But he raved about the whole experience afterwards. He also highly complimented the dark chocolate fondue.

Arguably the best restaurant in Manitou Springs despite it's Mona Lisa theme. Accept their wine pairing and enjoy. Within this intimate atmosphere, the food and service were both excellent. Yes, you paid for an excellent meal but you also paid for someone else to clean the melted cheese from the dishes and pots. We had dinner here on a Monday evening.

This is THE spot to go for special occasions. My wife and I come here every year for our anniversary and have never been disappointed. The food is top tier as long as you follow the cooking advice and the general atmosphere is cozy and friendly. We will keep coming back every year!

Second time here. We had a wonderful experience. After a formal event we went here to celebrate graduation. It was snowing super hard and one of our party members got snow and ice stuck to her shoe, the staff waited for us to get the snow off, and offered to help. The art is unique and so pretty. Our server, Bear, was attentive, polite, charismatic, and entertaining. He shared conversation with us and was super awesome. The food was delicious, both vegetarian and none vegetarian. Their current seasonal salad was delicious, and I'm not a Bleu cheese person, but it was mild and sweet. Even though we were one of the last tables the service was some of the best I've ever had. It is pricey but well worth it. I would say it's about double for 5 people that you would spend at an average restaurant, but this is far beyond average. It's clean, everywhere you go. I would thoroughly recommend.

This place had ambience, fabulous food, and quality service. The actual restaurant is darling and feels like something old and classic. I took my partner here for her birthday and we got the vegan menu and she enjoyed the flaming chocolate finale. The vegan cheese is super yummy and the selection for the main entree was diverse. Hearts of palm, Beyond sausage, teriyaki soaked mushrooms (our fave), and more! The literal only complaint is that it's such a friendly restaurant for vegans so I wish it had a vegan dessert option. Even some lemon Italian ice or mint chip ice cream.

This was a great experience! We had the 4 course Fondue dinner and split a bottle of wine. Our waitress was so sweet and personable. Great service and romantic ambiance.

First time visiting. It was our anniversary. Our reservation we made through the website was nonexistent. Even though I received two reminder emails and a text. They still got us taken care of and seated within 5 minutes. Waiter was friendly and professional. He explained our options and took our order. When he brought my ice tea out, he also brought out an assortment of sugars. I didn't ask for sugar, but always drink sweet tea. This was actually the first time I didn't have to ask, and at most places they bring out the wrong sugar. The meal was very fulfilling and appetizing. I wish the waiter was faster at filling my tea, and stopped halfway through our 3rd course.

The ambiance of the place was great, minus that ceiling tile that was broken and had water damage. Being in Manitou Springs really added to the ambiance and romance as you could walk down the sidewalk hand in hand under the moon light. The nightlife is pretty active.

The price is comparable to other fondue places like the Melting Pot. Expect to pay double what you would pay at a an Olive Garden, but your getting a completely different experience.

My boyfriend took me here to celebrate my graduation, and the entire experience was absolutely amazing. Our server Matt was phenomenal! Extremely knowledgeable on the menu/wines, patient, efficient, and hilarious. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect night, even going as far as to draw a stethoscope out of chocolate in honor of nursing school. Great food, great vibe, great wine, just an absolutely amazing experience.

Fantastic experience! Just as good as Melting Pot, if not better! Came here for a birthday dinner. Jasmine was our waitress and she was amazing, professional, and super friendly!

4-course meal, super filling! First course was a salad. Second course a cheese fondue with breads and veggies for dipping. Third course the entree with multiple meat options and swapping fish with meats/vice versa cooked on a grill instead of a fondue. Fourth course chocolate fondue with cakes, fruit, brownies to dip into it. We loved the variety of options to choose from!

We highly recommend this restaurant for a fancy meal out or just because!

We went here for our 5 year anniversary. We made a reservation ahead of time and were immediately seated. The atmosphere was perfect and intimate. My husband and I split a bottle of wine and we loved having the option to customize our plates (he got the wild game and I got the seafood plate). The staff was friendly and attentive. We even contributed to the tradition of signing our bottle and placing it on the wall. Will definitely make our way back here again!!

My boyfriend and I decided to come here for our anniversary since we’ve heard good things about it. This place was amazing! We decided to do the 4 course dinner and everything from the salads, to the fondue, to the desserts was 5 stars. Our server Cameron was also great. He brought us some complimentary champagne and even wrote “happy anniversary” in chocolate with our dessert fondue. It’s pricy, but worth it. We’ll be back again!

The lower bar was amazing. Great ambiance, delicious drinks and cheese board. Lily and Makayla were such a joy! We will be back to this gem every time we visit Manitou Springs. We cannot wait to try the fondue!

Jason M. was an excellent waiter. He took great care to explain the menu as well as the wine pairing (which I got). My husband is not a wine fan, so we chose the Fontina cheese. The seasonal salad was a great choice. Who can go wrong with traditional for grilling and flaming turtle for the dessert course?
