Best Western Cottonwood Inn

We stayed here while visiting Sedona for the first time. We selected BW Cottonwood for the reasonable price which included an outdoor pool and breakfast. The drive to Sedona is very quick and easy.
Our room was clean and we found the beds very comfortable. Our room included a mini fridge, coffee maker and microwave. The complimentary hot breakfast was very good. Danielle took very good care of all the guests during breakfast. She was terrific.
Front counter staff was friendly and check in was a breeze.
If I had to ask for anything to change, it would be to add lock box to the rooms.
Would definitely stay again!

Rooms and beds are clean and comfortable. Location is great as the hotel is within walking distance of restaurants. Breakfast was good with hit and cold items. Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Dog friendly.

Great room - comfy beds, nice shower. The breakfast was booomb too, great crew working it too they were super nice and working hard. Only 6 min from downtown

Cozy, and very clean inside the hotel room. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful especially when we had trouble opening our door. I highly recommend staying with them.

This is a great place to use as a hub for sightseeing in the Verde Valley and surrounding areas. The staff here was very professional, helpful and efficient.

Super efficient check in. Appreciated there were two people receiving incoming guests; especially since there was a line.
Two Queen room was spacious with typical amenities including coffee pot, microwave and fridge. Very clean. We were here for almost two weeks and I really appreciated the cubby holes/storage area in the bathroom. Kept me from me having to constantly move stuff for maid services.
Loved the bed and pillows.
The free breakfast is very well done. Eggs, sausage, gravy/biscuits, bagels/cream cheese, donut holes, all sorts of condiments and toppings with other typical fare. You’ll leave full.
We parked under a shade tree but they also have covered parking so the insides of your car don’t melt. In all seriousness, this was/is a nice feature.
Pool has a lift to get disabled guests in and out which was great. Also a hot tub.
There is a beautiful Mexican restaurant in same parking lot and a gas station next door for convenience (3 stars for food).

I was incredibly impressed with the staff and rooms at the cottonwood location. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The included breakfast was great and had a lot of choices. We were accommodated with extra blankets. The shower was huge and had fantastic water pressure. We watched a lot of tv and there were so many good channels. The maintenance man even tracked down a cardboard box for me. We will be back!

I didn’t actually stay here but I accidentally booked a stay here through Expedia and it was non refundable. I was trying to book near Jerome ID and accidentally selected Jerome AZ which is near this hotel. I noticed it right away and called Expedia. I’ve done this before and ended not getting my stay refunded since it’s up to the hotel and it’s free money for them and they don’t have to cancel it. After a short time on hold I was told this best western approved my request. If I ever drive through this area I’ll definitely consider staying here for the nice gesture and customer service to allow me to cancel.

The wonderful woman running the breakfast bar absolutely made my trip. She works diligently to make sure everything is spotless and perfectly prepared. She was kind and friendly and I looked forward to seeing her every morning. Thanks for helping me start my day out on the right foot ma’am!

This Best Western, was a great stay in fact possibly the BEST (pun intended) I've been in, in a while. The staff were so sweet and welcoming and would go above and beyond to attend to our every need. Our rooms were always clean and the continental breakfast was so delicious. What I really admired was how close everything was, whether you need gas, food, or even something from Walmart. It was all there for your convenience. I also loved how clean the pool was, we took advantage of the pool and it always had fresh towels and a very clean environment. Thanks so much for making our stay the BEST!

Wonderful staff and exceptionally clean room! Very quiet and comfortable stay close to everything we wanted to see and do. When I say the room was clean I mean there was absolutely no evidence that anyone had been there before us which is rare at any price point!

Rooms a bit outdated, but service and location are superb. Staff is extremely helpful and courteous. Many good/dining options around. Would be staying here again.

Had a comfortable stay in this Inn. It looks old but the room was clean and beds were comfy. Standard breakfast spread but of course you can get better food out there if you wished to. Overall we had a good night on the way to explore Sedona.

Now of course I would never give a Best Western a 5 star review. However, it is very clean, the staff is very personable, and the continental breakfast in the morning was rather excellent. Of course, again, it is not a Best Western Plus, but for the hotels in the area…. you can bet I would stay at that Best Western again. Very well done Best Western.

Room was clean, there was an odor in the bathroom when we arrived but didn't notice it later on. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great! Great selection of foods. Food was served to us and we were able to take it back to our room. Staff was helpful. Close to restaurants.

Went on a little get away with the kids. Very clean spacious rooms. Hotel staff was absolutely kind and helpful. The pool and hot tub are very well maintained. The breakfast was nice that there was something different each morning, the kids said it would of been nice to have some hot coco to drink.

Very surprised how nice our stay was. They had great options for breakfast and the food was very good. Pool was nice and my kids enjoyed it. Ice maker always had ice. My favorite thing was the guest laundry option. We are driving to the east coast and we are already looking at other BW hotels.

Clean rooms, friendly service, average breakfast

I would recommend the pavilion rooms to anyone that asked. We loved the private patio and the beds are more comfortable. The additional price was well worth it. We will never stay in one of the regular rooms again. It was very quiet and comfortable over there. We had decided NOT to stay there again until we rented the pavilion room and now we will come back as long as one of those rooms are available.
