The View Motel

I was only there the night but I can say that I would love to go again. Everything was very comfortable and it was very quiet which was great because I needed to get a good night's sleep.
The most outstanding thing happened though I received a phone call mid-afternoon stating that I had left my lunch box in my hotel room. I had been so busy I hadn't realized it. Lucky for me I was still in town and was able to retrieve my lunch box.

We stayed here on a whim because we didn’t plan our trip well. We were pleasantly surprised with a spacious room, very clean with large bathroom and kitchen area. The front desk was super kind and helpful. We are very grateful they accept dogs here too since we had our pup with us! The property is cute as well, lots of grassy areas. We would definitely recommend this to others. It’s not fancy by any means but it’s quaint and it’s clean!

This place is really a hidden gem. The views were amazing. The room was absolutely clean and smelled good. Beds were comfortable and it is super quiet. I had my two dogs with me and they put us in a room right next to the dog park. Can’t possibly praise this place more!!!!!

I haven't stayed at the view lately, however I have 5 stars for this motel. Linda the manager is one in a million . She is professional,compassionate and an overall great woman and manager. This View is actually one of the original motels in Cottonwood. My favorite actress Lucille Ball was the owner she would frequent cottonwood. The upper Apartment above the office was hers. Her niece inherited it , without mentioning names. it's not Linda though.😘. These two lady's have ran this place in a manner that makes you feel welcomed and always take the time to accommodate their guests within their means

Last minute trip to Sedona, all hotels and resorts were booked out. I rolled the dice out of desperation and stayed at The View Motel. I was extremely surprised with the value and and room in which I stayed. Absolutely the best motel I've stayed at.

Absolutely loved this place!! Very nice and compassionate woman at the front desk and comfy beds in the room. This place is off the main road so it is very quiet. We stayed in the winter, but the pool looks like it would be lovely in the summer. I highly recommend this place!

The best you can possibly expect for the price! Very nice front desk staff. Comfy beds. The shower pressure wasn’t great but I can deal with that as long as everything is clean, which it was.

It gets five stars cuz the price point is great for the view, the pool, and cleanliness. It isn't high tech or fancy but I was very happy with this place.

Loved staying here. Everything was clean and we had a good bit of space as well. The office was very accommodating with what we needed and took great care of us. We were very excited as well when we saw that we had a kitchen with dishes, pots, microwave etc. Our kids were happy about the swing set and nice green grass to run around in. Thank you, The View!!

Stayed there one night this weekend. It was a good location to everything in Cottonwood. It was my daughter and I, and we felt very safe parking and getting the room. Very well kept, clean, and friendly staff. We loved the desert atmosphere. The motel is quaint with a beautiful view.

Oh my goodness!!! What a wonderful surprise. We were grossed out by the outside looks of the Super8 and then saw The View vintage neon lights and drove up the steep driveway to take a peek. The rooms are immaculate, simple, plain, but comfortable beds, quiet, little frig, microwave, roomy. The pool is so clean and well maintained with breathtaking "View" We relaxed by the pool just taking it all in. The fact that Lucille Ball and her brother Fred owned it and now owned by Fred's daughter owns and runs it now, was over the top! They'd be proud! Really cool place we ended up staying two nights. We'll definitely be back someday

This place will have phenomenal and romantic memories forever for Steve and I. It was our Rendezvous place for the first 4 months of Our dating until my son was willing to accept my Love of a Lifetime into our lives and home. The rooms nicely decorated very clean with everything that you need. The view is exactly its name when it comes to looking out the front door towards the muggy on rim. What a view indeed.

We loved this place. Our first reservations fell through at a nearby chain but that ended up being a good thing because we found The View Motel. Very nice clean rooms that appear to be newly remodeled. Nice friendly staff. Very quaint Motel with a great hilltop view of Cottonwood. A great location if you're seeing the sights nearby like Jerome, Verde Canyon Railroad, Sedona, Prescott, Cliff Castle Casino etc.
We will be back for certain.

It's the best place for me to be there otherwise I'm on the road...

The rooms are a little dated but clean. The office folks are very friendly. The view really is extraordinary, well worth a visit. If you are interested in just the basics, this is the place. We will be back.

We're back!

This is very good for a motel. There are very nice staff. The beds are really nice too they have 0 bed bugs so do not worry. And yes I said beds because there are more than one. The pool is very clean too and is big too I had truble getting out of the pool. Just every thing feels very nice there and I would go again.

A welcome surprise. I let the kid pick our accommodations while traveling through Cottonwood. They landed on The View. I called and made reservations (sight unseen). When we drove up it was evident this was an old-school style motel (I've not had much luck with this style motel in the past). After we checked in, we were very pleasantly surprised at the condition of the room. It had obviously been recently updated and everything was clean. The staff were super friendly and the cost was quite reasonable. I'd stay here again.

I loved the view motel. Fantastic people, awesome view of the Verde valley mountains. Super comfy beds. I will be returning for another staycation!!!

Rented a room 25 years ago when I first arrived to live in Arizona. Now I am renting a room again as I am moving out of Arizona to live in another State in the the good Ole' "US of A". Loved living my dreams in AZ but it's time for me to allow others to come to AZ and live their dreams.

We loved the quaint buildings and the really help and the history. We has come for a Corvette Caravan trip and had booked at the Western Hotel which had lost our reservation. They recommend the View. Excellent choice for us. Lucille Ball's brother use to own and the family still does. Great view of the city.
