Tangled Hearts Bakery

A pleasant stop to grab some breakfast before heading into Yosemite. The staff was very friendly, food was decent and the view outside was great.

We stay at Rush Creek and were quite disappointed with the staff and the food yesterday, so we had a look for alternatives. Tangled Heart is no alternative, it should be the standard. Omg, so friendly and care taking beside having amazing food. You have to try the burrito with the cheese outside if you are really hungry, it’s sooo good. Thank you Tangled Heart for allowing us also in the Yosemite to have great food from lovely people!

Best food served by the best people! My favorite Groveland breakfast place (Get The Rafter and split it with a loved one, they are huge!!)

Such a nice little spot - super friendly people and the food was perfect. Hard to find such great service. Highly recommend the veggie scramble and cheese fried burrito!

Had a great breakfast and superb company on the patio. This is a gem in the dining crown of Groveland. Seasonal closing is coming soon but I will be back when you reopen!!

Great food… avocado on croissant with everything bagel type seasoning is yummy… veggie scramble with salsa is quite loaded & filling… pancakes were soft & fluffy… very reasonable priced too… perfect choice for breakfast or lunch

I like this place! There was no pretension here - I was heading up to Hetch Hetchy and nowhere else was open. I got a hot coffee and the "locals favorite" breakfast burrito. Solid! The meat in the burrito was just chopped up sausage patties, but whatever. It was still good.
I think the black shirt for sale says it all...

I cannot explain how awesome this place is. You have to try it if you are anywhere near Yosemite. It will be so worth it. Food is freshly cooked and is so worth the small wait. We ate here every day for breakfast!

Breakfast Set & Burritos is excellent. Good portion of food & price is resonable. Very friendly host, ensure that everything is ok with all the diners

These guys have the best pancakes in CA! My only wish is that they work till the evening, and not just till 2pm! :)

Just had a late breakfast this morning at Tangled Hearts Bakery in Groveland. So delicious! We had pastries here about a year ago and they were yummy. Decided to try their breakfast. We both loved our choices. I had the Hillbilly and my husband had the Two Egg Breakfast with the ham steak. Their biscuits and Tangled potatoes are yummy and the gravy is delicious. The staff is very friendly and the prices are so reasonable. You will not leave hungry! Such a gem in this area. Thank you and we will be back :)

Awesome service at this locally owned restaurant. You must try the Country Benny, it will leave you feeling guilty but well worth the extra calories.

Stopped by on the way down the hill from Yosemite. Always judge a new breakfast joint by how good their chicken fried steak is and happy to say this was one of the best ones I have had in along time. Will definitely be stopping by again when in the area.

The best breakfast spot near the valley!

Look no further for your country style breakfast spot. Just off highway 120, this pocketed gem is a dining spot you don’t want to miss! They have a great selection of breakfast options (highly recommend the breakfast burritos) and the service was incredibly friendly and pleasant.

Pleasantly surprised by their breakfast options. We got the OG Burrito and the breakfast croissant. We were there on a weekday, and the pasty options weren't the best, but the scones that we got were good. Overall, for a place in the middle of nowhere, this place is a great stop before Yosemite.

Absolutely wonderful Muffins, Cookies, Pastries and desserts, as well as timely orders and kind atmosphere! The customer service really makes this a welcome place for breakfast among many of the locals, and tourists that come into the area!

We love Tangled Hearts and the first time I was brought here was shortly after we got engaged. We are so proud of everything Amy and Steven have done over the years with it and enjoy watching the progression!

Love this place. Always clean and great customer service. If you want something quick and delicious these guys cook a mean breakfast. Keep in mind they are seasonal so try to catch them during summer late spring and early fall. Keep in mind they are a smaller establishment so don't expect fancy bathrooms. The love and care is definitely in their food.

A must-stop spot on your drive to Yosemite! Get fueled up for the day with a breakfast burrito that is bigger than your head and filled with deliciousness. We always take a few pastries home too. All fresh and made in house! Quirky, local, and family owned...it doesn’t get better than this!
