Historic Ute Inn

Wow! The best fries I think I have ever eaten! The flavor, texture, and temperature were absolutely perfect! Not only that, all the ingredients on "Fat Girl Fries" were delicious, fresh, and flavorful! Also, my husband had the rubber sandwich, and it was equally delicious with high end meat!

Came in early evening for dinner with a toddler, the owner quickly got us some animal crackers and chatted with a us a bit. Waitress recommended the fat girl fries and they did not disappoint. The Rancher Burger also looked great. Loved the decor and hospitality!

Original restaurant side is currently closed for remodeling (into a coffee shop), but the bar side is still open for food. My wife and been craving their pulled pork since our last visit several years ago, and it was still great. My son's chicken tenders were also pretty exceptional. Will absolutely come back whenever we're in the area!

This was our first time and can't wait to go back.

Never would have expected this place to be as good as it was. My group and I ate on the bar side of the inn, and it’s a proper dive. It’s old, beat up, and has kind of a musty smell to it, but it’s somehow not dilapidated or dirty. It’s just old, it has character, and it’s completely trustworthy.

I got a Fish & Chips plate that rivaled some of the better Fish & Chips I’ve had anywhere in the country or in the UK. Other people in my party had the sandwiches and smoked meats, and everybody enjoyed their meal.

The local charm here is off the charts. Stopping here for a drink and a meal should be an easy call for anybody visiting town.

Great evening with family! Just ordered appetizers and drinks as it was meant to be a quick trip to stop and have some fries down the mountain - played a game of pool or 2 - neat place nothing fancy, chill folks - owner introduced himself and chatted a bit. Reminded me of our small town friendly places -

This place was awesome! The vibe was local and historical. The staff was amazing! The food was so good! You wouldn’t even thing it would be when you walk in. But yum! The bathrooms are so clean, the soap is yum! Loved it! Thank you

The onion rings & pork ribs are delicious! The French dip sandwich and fried catfish got rave reviews from other in our party. Large portions & good food. Nice atmosphere.

I don't understand why this place isn't busier. Great atmosphere and food. The owner came over to talk to us and the catfish was to die for. Most amazing ever!!!

Awesome experience!! The smoked sauced wings were fall of the bone amazing!! Coming back for dinner tonight for the hickory smoked brisket and pulled pork!! So sad they sold out of the ribs before we got to order them! But selling out says enough we just have to get here sooner 😉. Owners took time to say hello and the staff was very attentive!!! Love this place. Plus they have a jukebox!

06/11/23. The food was awesome. Had the prime bomb, and it's a must get. But, the fries are WONDERFUL. The service was great, the owner can't out and spoke with you. I can't say enough food things, about this place.

My favorite hangout. Veteran owned and operated. Murph is great! Food is excellent and well priced as well as the drinks.

The food is delicious. I got the french dip but ordered it with provolone and sauteed onions. SO GOOD! The french fries were perfection. The view from where we sat, priceless.

What a great place. My wife and I on a trip from Phoenix for our anniversary, stopped in here and what a warm welcome. First I got The Slopper. It was the PERFECTLY cooked burger with tasty Green Chile. And the owner was a great guy and comped us a dessert for our anniversary. Great place we look to go again on our next visit.

The plate says it all. Great local spot with friendly staff and an awesome western atmosphere. Must try the prime bomb with a side of ao jus

My family took me here for my birthday. We all got different menu items and all of them were fantastic! The pit master is from North Carolina and he is off the charts great! The staff was friendly, there is ample parking behind the building and the historic ambience is heartwarming. The food was great but what I found surprising was that it was so affordable! This is a must stop venue if in Woodland Park! Great food, great staff, great price, it doesn't get better than that!

The friendliest place on earth! We stayed in Woodland Park on family vacation and stumbled upon this gem. The restaurant was full when we walked in but we were greeted by a friendly fellow who made sure we felt welcomed and treated our kids with animal crackers and drinks while we waited for a table. He was so kind and welcoming which was nice after searching around for a nice sit down meal! It was only about 5 minutes before he came back to tell us we could be seated and then he made sure we were connected with a waiter who was also so friendly and efficient! The Fish Fryday was amazing!!! My families burgers and Mac and cheese were awesome! Highly recommend if you are looking for a sit down meal with great food, service and fun atmosphere!

We have never had a bad experience at the Ute. Our experience goes back almost 17 years as we would enjoy a meal while visiting relatives. Now that we live here we frequent the Ute at least once a month. Always enjoyed our meals and the service was awesome.

Awesome food and the best spicy Bloody Mary and the service was great.
